PLATINIUM ENTERTAINMENT PRESENTS:
BAD INTENTIONS

Live Championship Boxing Returns to the
Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino on April 11, 2015

Platinum Entertainment and Fantastic Entertainment announced today that they will bring live professional boxing back to the legendary theater at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino (3000 Paradise Road) on April 11, 2015 at 7:00 PM. Tickets, starting at $35, are on sale now and can be purchased at the Westgate Box Office, WestgateVegas.com, or by calling 800-222-5361.

The Bad Intentions fight card will feature a co-main event including five-time World Champion Zab “Super” Judah (42-9) against Ghana’s Yakubu Amidu (21-6), and defending World Boxing Council (WBC) and United States Boxing Council (UNSBC) champion Jesus “Chuy” Gutierrez (14-0) in a title fight against challenger James Lester. The scheduled undercard will also showcase top-notch boxing talent, including WBC Women’s Lightweight Champion Ava Knight and local Las Vegas boxers.

Fantastic Entertainment and Platinum Entertainment have joined forces to promote this fight night at the Westgate Las Vegas. Platinum Entertainment, one of the premier boxing promoters in Las Vegas, will keep fans entertained throughout the night with ENTROBOX, which is a combination of heart pounding boxing action and musical performances on the very stage where Elvis Presley and many Las Vegas legends have performed.

This is the first time that the Westgate Las Vegas will host a live professional boxing event since Westgate Resorts acquired the Las Vegas landmark last July. The Westgate Theater has a rich boxing history. It was this very venue where Mike Tyson became the youngest heavyweight champion of the world on November 22, 1986, and where Leon Spinks upset Muhammad Ali in a title fight on February 15, 1978.

Now, championship boxing makes its triumphant return to the Westgate Theater.

The weigh-in and press conference will take place April 10, 2015, at 4:00pm at the Shimmer Cabaret inside Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino.

Main Event

The main event will feature Zab “Super” Judah, former five time world champion (light welterweight and welterweight divisions). With a record of 42 wins (29 knockouts) against nine losses, Judah will face Ghana’s Yakubu Amidu who brings a record of 21 wins (19 knockouts) against six losses.

Co-Main Event

The co-main event presents WBC UNSBC Champion Jesus “Chuy” Gutierrez. Gutierrez will put his perfect record (14-0 with six knockouts) and WBC Title Belt on the line when he faces challenger James Lester.

Undercard

The action-packed undercard includes heavyweight contender Chazz Witherspoon, nephew of former heavyweight champion Tim Witherspoon, WBC Women’s Lightweight Champion Ava Knight, and Joe Judah, brother of Zab Judah. Las Vegas local fighters will round out the rest of this exciting card.
