Rock singer Mark Boals joins permanent lineup of “Raiding the Rock Vault” at The New Tropicana Las Vegas

“Raiding the Rock Vault” has announced that rock singer Mark Boals is joining the permanent lineup of the show at The New Tropicana Las Vegas. The powerhouse vocalist and bass player, best known for his work with Dokken, Ted Nugent, and Yngwie Malmsteen, takes the stage Friday-Wednesday at 9 p.m.

 

“Mark [Boals] has performed as a guest in the show several times and we’re excited to welcome him on-board as a permanent member of the lineup,” said producer Sir Harry Cowell. “He’s an incredible musician, a talented singer, and an excellent addition to the show.”

 

Boals joins the production’s all-star lineup, which includes Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member Howard Leese [Guitar] (Heart), Hugh McDonald [Bass] (Bon Jovi), Doug Aldrich [Guitar] (Whitesnake, Dio), Robin McAuley [Lead Vocals] (MSG, Survivor), Paul Shortino [Lead Vocals] (Rough Cutt, Quiet Riot), Jay Schellen [Drums] (Badfinger, Asia), Andrew Freeman [Lead Vocals and Guitars] (Lynch Mob, The Offspring), Michael T. Ross [Keyboards] (Lita Ford, Hardline), and outstanding female vocalists Carol-Lyn Liddle (Masters of Rock) and Stephanie Calvert (Starship).

 

“Raiding the Rock Vault” brings the history of rock ‘n’ roll to life, featuring classic anthems by the biggest acts in music, including The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Free, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Queen, Boston, Kansas, U2, Aerosmith, Van Halen, AC/DC, Pat Benatar, Foreigner, Heart, Journey, Bon Jovi, Whitesnake, Supertramp and many more.

 

The hit show was voted Reader’s Choice Best of Las Vegas 2014 by the Las Vegas Review-Journal and has been ranked the No. 1 Performance in Las Vegas on TripAdvisor for the past 12 months.

 

“Raiding the Rock Vault” performs Friday-Wednesday at 9 p.m., with tickets ranging from $59-$99 plus taxes and fees. Divorce Party Las Vegas made its official Strip debut Thursday, March 13 with a red carpet event to welcome the show to its new sin city home inside Windows Showroom at Bally’s Las Vegas. The ultimate Girls’ Night Out experience was attended by many local celebrities and notables, including Jaymes Vaughan and James Davis  from Chippendales and the Amazing Race, hypnotists Marc Savard and Anthony Cools, Carol-Lyn Liddle from Raiding the Rock Vault, Murray SawChuck, Legends in Concert cast members Cece Correia and Katie Steele, current Mrs. Nevada Lavetta Schneider, legendary comic Steve Rossi, Jarrett & Raja from America’s Got Talent, pianist Danny Wright, vocalist Traci Kesissian and more

An 80-minute comedic musical event, Divorce Party Las Vegas centers around Linda, still reeling from her divorce, as her friends turn her despair into a weekend of hilarity. Hailed by the L.A. Weekly as a blend of “Sex and the City with Dr. Phil, Oprah and SNL,” the show uses laughs, songs and the occasional shock factor to explore the realities of divorce, long term relationships and moving on.

“You don’t have to have gone through a divorce to enjoy this show,” said Dr. Amy Botwinick co-author and producer, “The storyline is incredibly funny, heartfelt and at times a little risqué but most importantly everyone in the audience can relate.”

RAIDING THE ROCK VAULT – “Classic Rock by Those Who Rocked It” – made its triumphant return to LVH – LAS VEGAS HOTEL & CASINO, Friday, Jan. 24, with a new lineup and songs. This amazing concert experience brings the history of rock ‘n’ roll to life with an all-star super group of musicians, the likes of which is not seen anywhere in Las Vegas, playing rock’s greatest hits from the ‘60s, ‘70s, and ‘80s.

“We’ve received a tremendous outpouring of support and feedback from our fans,” said creator, director and producer John Payne. “With that, we’ve been able to refresh the show’s lineup and content to deliver an unparalleled music experience.”

RAIDING THE ROCK VAULT has signed hard rock guitarist Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake, Dio), as well as two female vocalists, who will trade off: Carol-Lyn Liddle and Stephanie Calvert (Starship). Songs that have been added to the hit show include “Dreams” (Fleetwood Mac), “Heartbreaker” (Pat Benatar), “Alone” (Heart), “Dream On” (Aerosmith), “Highway to Hell” and “Thunderstruck” (AC/DC).
