Morton Group’s La Cave Wine & Food Hideaway at Wynn Las Vegas will welcome attendees of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) with an exclusive wine flight, available from Tuesday, Jan. 7 through Friday, Jan. 10.


The expertly-curated wine flight will include pours of Burgundy, Domaine Thierry Mortet, “Vignes Belles,” Gevrey Chambertin, France 2015; Pinot Noir, Reuling, Sonoma Coast, CA 2012; Super Tuscan, Tenuta di Arceno, “Arcanum,” Tuscany, Italy 2006; and Cabernet Sauvignon, Heitz, Trailside Vineyard, Napa Valley, CA 2012, priced at $80.

La Cave’s menu of signature dishes will also be available including the beef filet crostini, prepared with blue cheese and truffle cream, priced at $24; charred octopus, served with crispy fingerling potatoes and fava bean purée, priced at $23; and s’mores flatbread, topped with toasted marshmallow, crushed graham cracker and white and dark chocolate, priced at $13.

Executive Chef Talen Lancaster will prepare an 8-ounce filet, served with crispy marble potatoes, onion jam and a red wine jus. Olympic Gymnast Nastia Liukin visited The Venetian Las Vegas Monday, Jan. 8, when she experienced several of the property’s world-class offerings with her fiancé Matt Lombardi and friend Amanda Keenan. Liukin, who was in Las Vegas to speak at a CES conference, “The Future of Fan Engagement,” enjoyed dinner at Chica, craft cocktails at Rosina, and took photos at The Palazzo’s LOVE art installation.

While at Chica, she and her guests feasted on octopus, ceviche, a trio of salsas and churro ice cream pops before heading to Rosina, The Palazzo’s newest cocktail bar, where she sipped on a French 75. No visit to the acclaimed property is complete without a photo at LOVE on display at The Palazzo’s Waterfall Atrium, where she and Lombardi took the opportunity to capture some romantic images.

An accomplished gymnast since a young age, Nastia Liukin has won more than 25 medals in various events including winning the gold medal in the women’s all-around at the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics, having been only the third American woman to do so. Having retired from the sport in 2012, Liukin has dedicated her time to various community efforts including helping aspiring gymnasts to be mentored by their biggest idols with the app, Grander, which Liukin cofounded.

Last night, Angel Management Group’s PURE Nightclub welcomed hip-hop artist Wale as he took over the main stage at Skullcandy’s official CES after-party. Arriving around 1 a.m. the award-winning rapper made his way through the packed mega-club and to his table with the Skullcandy party. Just after 1:30 a.m. the hip-hop star had all eyes on him as he took his place center stage and DJ 59 got the clubgoers ready for an unstoppable performance.

Beginning his mini concert with his hit “Chillin” Wale had his fans on their feet. Performing multiple songs including a mash-up of the ever-popular “Rack City” and a portion of his most recent mixtape Folarin Wale put on an energetic, unforgettable show as he danced and had his fans sing along.  Ending his set Wale said, “I love y’all Vegas!” and made his way off the main stage. The hip-hop icon spent his evening partying with his fans and guests.
