Country Music’s Biggest Stars Performing Live at
Golden Nugget Las Vegas Dec. 5-13

Tickets Now on Sale at https://bit.ly/2ACjODr

Put on your cowboy boots and join country music legends as they sing and dance the night away at Golden Nugget Las Vegas during this year’s National Finals Rodeo Dec. 5 through 13. Guests can enjoy live music and party ‘til the cows come home with a wide variety of country artists such as Terri Clark, Clay Walker, John Michael Montgomery, Charlie Daniels Band, Ronnie Milsap, Tracy Lawrence, Pam Tillis & Lorrie Morgan, Ray Wylie Hubbard, and Jamey Johnson as they perform live at The Showroom inside the Golden Nugget Las Vegas.

Terri Clark – Dec. 5 at 10:00 p.m.
Terri Clark was the first Canadian woman to be inducted into the Grand Ole Opry. Her hits include: “Better Things To Do,” “When Boy Meets Girl,” “Poor Poor Pitiful Me,” “I Just Wanna Be Mad,” and “I Wanna Do It All.”

Clay Walker – Dec. 6 at 10:00 p.m.
Certain artists just seem to have an innate sense of what it takes to please an audience. Clay Walker is one of those artists. Whether on stage or in the recording studio, Walker never gives less than a hundred percent, and it’s that kind of dedicated work ethic combined with God given talent that have made him one of the most successful country acts of the past decade. He first topped the Billboard country singles chart in 1993 with “What’s It To You” and followed with his consecutive No. 1 hit “Live Until I Die.” Since then, he’s placed 31 titles on the charts with 11 No. 1 singles to date and 6 platinum and gold records.

John Michael Montgomery – Dec. 7 at 10:00 p.m.
Academy of Country Music’s Top Male Vocalist in the 90s, John Michael Montgomery entertains in the 600-seat showroom with “Sold,” “Be My Baby Tonight,” “I Swear,” and “Life’s A Dance.”

Charlie Daniels Band – Dec. 8 at 10:00 p.m.
Rock out country style with Charlie Daniels Band at the Golden Nugget. Charlie Daniels is partly Western and partly Southern. His signature “bull rider” hat and belt buckle, his lifestyle on the Twin Pines Ranch (a boyhood dream come true), his love of horses, cowboy lore and the heroes of championship rodeo, Western movies, and Louis L’Amour novels, identify him as a Westerner. The son of a lumberjack and a Southerner by birth, his music – rock, country, bluegrass, blues, gospel – is quintessentially Southern. This band is sure to keep you entertained all night.

Ronnie Milsap – Dec. 9 at 10:00 p.m.
Grammy Award-winning country singer and musician, Ronnie Milsap returns to the Golden Nugget. Swoon to the hits that have made him a legend including “Smoky Mountain Rain”, “I Wouldn’t Have Missed It For the World” and “Lost in the Fifties Tonight.” Witness this legend in the intimate 600-seat showroom.

Tracy Lawrence – Dec. 10 at 10:00 p.m.
Tracy Lawrence started working in honky tonk when he was 17 years old and moved to Nashville in 1990. He recorded his first album, Sticks and Stones, which sold over 500,000 copies. Country hits from that album included “Today’s Lonely Fool,” “Runnin’ Behind” and “Somebody Paints the Wall.” In 1993, Lawrence enjoyed a hat trick of number 1s, “Alibis,” “Can’t Break It to My Heart” and “My Second Home.” In 1996, he reached number 1 again with “Time Marches On” and “Is That A Tear.”

Pam Tillis & Lorrie Morgan – Dec. 11 at 10:00 p.m.
American country music singer-songwriter Pam Tillis and country music singer Lorrie Morgan return to the Golden Nugget. Originally a demo singer in Nashville, Tennessee, Tillis was signed to Warner Bros. Records in 1981 and then went on to release three certified platinum records including Homeward Looking Angel, Sweethearts Dance, and a Greatest Hits Compilation. Lorrie Morgan charted her first single in 1978 and has since then charted more than 25 singles, including “Five Minutes,” “What Part of No” and “I Didn’t Know My Own Strength.”

Ray Wylie Hubbard – Dec. 12 at 10:00 p.m.
When it comes to down ’n’ dirty roots ’n’ roll, nobody in the wide world of Americana music today does it better than Ray Wylie Hubbard. From his humble beginnings as an Oklahoma folkie in the ’60s to his wild ride through the ’70s progressive country movement, and onward through the honky-tonk fog of the ’80s to his sobriety-empowered comeback as a songwriter’s songwriter in the ’90s, Hubbard was already a bona fide legend by the time he really found his groove right at the turn of the century. Beginning with 2001’s aptly-titled Eternal and Lowdown through to his latest and greatest release, 2015’s The Ruffian’s Misfortune, he has spent well over a decade now chasing hellhounds through muddy waters and deep into the underbelly of the blues, with a Lightnin’ Hopkins gleam in his eyes and a Rolling Stones swagger in his step.

Jamey Johnson – Dec. 13 at 10:00 p.m.
Jamey Johnson is an American country music artist. Signed to BNA Records in 2005, Johnson made his debut with his single “The Dollar,” the title track to his 2006 album The Dollar. Johnson was dropped from BNA in 2006 and signed to Mercury Nashville Records in March 2008, releasing his second album, the gold-certified That Lonesome Song. This album produced two singles, the Top 10 hit “In Color” and “High Cost of Living.” Johnson has since released two more albums, The Guitar Song in 2010 and Living for a Song: A Tribute to Hank Cochran in 2012. In addition to most of his own material, Johnson has co-written singles for Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard, Trace Adkins, George Strait, James Otto, Joe Nichols and Jessie James Decker.

Golden Nugget will host a variety of country music’s biggest stars in The Showroom starting Thursday, Dec. 5. Each concert will begin at 10 p.m. following the rodeo. Tickets are on sale now with select shows starting at $29, plus taxes and fees. Ticket prices are subject to change without notice. Tickets are available here.

Academy of Country Music Reveals Plans for The Week Vegas Goes Country

ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC® REVEALS PLANS FOR
“THE WEEK VEGAS GOES COUNTRY®” 2017
INCLUDING 5TH ANNUAL ACM PARTY FOR A CAUSE® FESTIVITIES

SERIES OF INDUSTRY AND FAN EVENTS TO TAKE OVER LAS VEGAS
MARCH 30 – APRIL 2, 2017 SURROUNDING THE 52ND ACM AWARDS®

The Academy of Country Music announced today a return to the organization’s origins in developing The Week Vegas Goes Country® years ago, with an onslaught of events taking over Las Vegas – including a return and expansion of the 5th Annual ACM Party for a Cause® — in conjunction with the 52nd Academy of Country Music Awards™, Country Music’s Party of the Year®, which will broadcast LIVE for the first time ever from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at 8:00 PM ET/delayed PT on the CBS Television Network.

This year, ACM Party for a Cause will consist of industry and fan events located at different venues across Las Vegas including a new host hotel, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and several others from Thursday, March 30 – Sunday, April 2, 2017 in Las Vegas, NV. “Fourteen years ago, when the Academy moved the Awards to Las Vegas, we kicked off a decade of wide-ranging special events for fans including a motorcycle ride through Las Vegas and the surrounding area, a golf tournament at a prestigious club, concerts on Fremont Street, games and a country lifestyle marketplace and loads of live country music performances. That’s how The Week Vegas Goes Country® earned its moniker.  This year, we’re going back to our roots with the evolution of ACM Party for a Cause events taking place throughout Las Vegas, all benefiting ACM Lifting Lives and the good work of the many worthy organizations Lifting Lives supports through grants and more,” said Ed Warm, Chairman of ACM Lifting Lives and Co-Chairman of the ACM Events Committee. “It feels good to align all of our auxiliary events surrounding the ACM Awards with a philanthropic purpose the fans have always embraced.”

“ACM fans have demanded more events, more artist engagement, more variety,” said George Couri, Co-Chairman of the ACM Events Committee. “Some of our fans clearly like the more intimate environments compared to the big festivals, so this year we will give them that version celebrating more artists up close and in their faces. From songwriter rounds to fun party nights out, with this schedule there will be plenty for fans to dive into all day every day.”

The headliners for the 26th Annual Downtown Hoedown on Wednesday, Dec. 5 include:

Clay Walker
Certain artists just seem to have an innate sense of what it takes to please an audience. Clay Walker is one of those artists. Walker made a name for himself on the competitive Texas honky-tonk circuit before graduating to success on a national level. He first topped the Billboard country singles chart in 1993 with “What’s It to You” and followed with his second consecutive No. 1 hit, “Live Until I Die.” Since then he’s placed 31 titles on Billboard’s singles chart including chart toppers “Dreaming with my Eyes Open,” “If I Could Make Living,” “This Woman and This Man,” and “Rumor Has It.”

Dustin Lynch
Dustin Lynch got his start at the Bluebird Café, the world’s preeminent listening room for singers and songwriters, which has been instrumental in the development of Garth Brooks, Faith Hill and Kathy Mattea among others. Lynch visited the Bluebird several times a week to listen and learn about the mysterious art of creating songs from some of Nashville’s most important writers, and it was at their proverbial feet that he picked up key insights about the writing process. It wasn’t long before Lynch himself landed a performance spot at the famed venue and in 2011 he signed to Broken Bow Records. His self-titled debut album entered the US Billboard Top Country Albums and US Billboard Top Independent Albums charts at number 1. He has garnered two nominations from the American Country Awards for his January 2012 debut single “Cowboys and Angels.” Lynch has also been featured on USA Today as an “On the Verge” artist and on CMT’s “Notable New Music” list. Dedication and passion has made Lynch one of the most promising new artists of country music.

Jana Kramer
Singer, Songwriter and Actress Jana Kramer is best known for her role as the firecracker actress Alex Dupre, in the CW hit series “One Tree Hill.” Although a new comer in the world of country music, Jana is no stranger to the bright lights with her impressive string of movie and television roles, including recurring roles on hit shows such as “Friday Night Lights,” “Entourage” and “Beverly Hills 90210,” but she credits her recent break into the music industry as her most important accomplishment to date. Jana’s first single “Why Ya Wanna” from her self-titled debut album skyrocketed to number 3 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart early in 2012. The singer-songwriter is lighting up country music with her emotionally moving songs and sweet, country vocals, selling over 150,000 digital singles in the first six months. All eyes are on Jana as she boldly graces country music with a fresh, new sound and powerful new music.
