Brett Young released his debut self-titled album (BMLG Records) at the start of 2017 (2/10), instantly making waves in Country music as fans and critics took notice of his “confessional, soulful” (Entertainment Weekly) music. “Destined for mass appeal” (Rolling Stone), the album quickly reached RIAA GOLD Certification – one of only three Country albums released this year to do so – and landed in Sounds Like Nashville’s 20 Best Country Albums of 2017 list.

The singer/songwriter has “taken Country radio by storm” (Billboard), with his PLATINUM-selling lead single “Sleep Without You” climbing to the top of the Country radio charts. Young’s follow-up single “In Case You Didn’t Know” saw overwhelming response as the first Country song released in 2017 to reach PLATINUM-certification status – one of only two Country songs released in 2017 to earn the honor – soon going 2X PLATINUM. The New York Times included the 2X PLATINUM track in their 54 Best Songs of 2017 list, calling it “one of this year’s most impressive pop songs.” It is also among Pandora listeners’ 50 favorite songs of 2017, and Sounds Like Nashville included it in their 25 Best Country Singles of 2017 list. The song’s official music video was greeted with matched enthusiasm, surpassing 160 million+ views since its January release, landing among Vevo’s top all-genre videos of 2017. His current GOLD-certified single “Like I Loved You” is Top-5-and-climbing on the charts, continuing to solidify Young as “one of country’s most reliable new hitmakers” (Tennessean).

As one of Country’s hottest artists, superstars took notice, and Young joined Lady Antebellum, Luke Bryan, Thomas Rhett and more on tour this year. In October, he launched his own debut headlining CALIVILLE TOUR, featuring chart-topper Carly Pierce, selling out every stop.

As 2017 comes to a close, Young has landed on multiple Billboard Year End charts, including Top New Artists, the only Country artist to do so. He also landed at No. Two on the Year End Hot Country Songs, Country Digital Songs and Country Streaming Songs charts. ASCAP recognized his “quintessential breakout year,” honoring Young for one of the Most Played Songs of the Year with “Sleep Without You.” Young was named a TicketMaster New Favorite Artist of 2017 and was Shazam’s only Country act included on their Emerging Artists of 2017 list. He also drew prestigious CMA, ACM, Teen Choice Award, CMT Music Awards and AIMP Award nominations.

2018 is already shaping up to be another big year for Young, who is working on new music. He will perform at the College Football Playoff concert in Atlanta January 8 before joining ACM Male Vocalist of the Year Thomas Rhett on his LIFE CHANGES Tour.

Country group Eli Young Band, from Texas, is taking over the Veil Pavilion stage to show the audience that country music with a dash of rock is always a good thing.

The band was started by Mike Eli and James Young, who turned their country loving duo into a quartet by adding bassist Jon Jones and drummer Chris Thompson. The guys opened a show for Miranda Lambert in 2003 and caught the eye of music producer Frank Liddell, who later signed them to his label Carnival Recording Co.

The Eli Young Band was officially signed and released the debut album Level in 2005 featuring  hit songs “When It Rains” and “That’s The Way.” The group went on to perform in front of thousands of people while headlining at venues across the country.

Infused with the passion for music and the thrill to succeed, the four guys signed with Republic Records and released the hit album Jet Black and Jealous in 2008, which featured songs like “Radio Waves “ and “Always The Love Songs” that went on to becoming Top 40 hits.

Recently, the band released Life At Best, which chart topped as No. 3 in both the Country Albums and Top Digital Album categories. It also landed as No. 6 on The Billboard 200.
