Jason Aldean Reveals Braves Stadium Tour Stop Details

JASON ALDEAN ANNOUNCES DETAILS FOR HOMECOMING HIGH NOON NEON TOUR
STADIUM SHOW ON JULY 21 AT SUNTRUST PARK, HOME OF THE ATLANTA BRAVES

Hootie & the Blowfish Reunite for One-Night-Only Event
Including Georgia-Native Lauren Alaina and Luke Combs

Tickets Go On-Sale Next Friday, March 23rd

Two-time and reigning ACM “Entertainer of the Year” Jason Aldean returned to his home state of Georgia today to reveal the one-night-only lineup from SunTrust Park for his HIGH NOON NEON TOUR stop at the new Atlanta Braves stadium, on July 21st. During the exclusive press conference, Aldean was joined by President of Live Nation Country Touring Brian O’Connell, legendary baseball player Chipper Jones and tour opener Lauren Alaina along with Luke Combs who joined via video. Additionally three-time GRAMMY award-winner Darius Rucker exclusively announced Hootie & the Blowfish will reunite for the night to serve as direct support for the show. Fans can purchase tickets beginning next Friday, March 23rd at 10:00A ET at JasonAldean.com and LiveNation.com.

“Out of all the shows we’ve played, I know this show is going to be a career defining moment,” said Aldean at today’s press conference. “We haven’t had a chance to play Atlanta in a couple years in anticipation of this show and I know this night is going to mean a lot to my family and me. I’ve followed the Braves my whole life….was even at the ’95 game when they clinched the World Series…so this is a huge full circle moment for me.”

“Last Spring we were brainstorming what could happen this year to spice up Jason’s touring routine, and the top thing on his mind was to play the home of the Atlanta Braves,” O’Connell added. “It’s important to understand Jason’s history with Georgia not only as an entertainer but as a person who wants to honor his roots. He is the only Country music artist to play UGA’s Sanford Stadium and now SunTrust Park and I know it’s going to be the show of the summer in Atlanta.”

Aldean’s wide-open approach has made him a perennial live-show favorite for the format as he has headlined the biggest stadiums in the United States where “Aldean and his band rock hard and precise” (Houston Chronicle) and this year, his HIGH NOON NEON TOUR will launch on May 10th. Certain to add fire to a career that’s already witnessed 19 chart-topping hits, he is “returning to his roots” (USA Today) for his upcoming album REARVIEW TOWN, out April 13, which is full of vignettes of life laid over electrifying rock n’ roll and country sounds, building upon that history. Its “vulnerable and slow burning” (Rolling Stone) first single yearns with the well-worn sounds of hometown heroes Otis Redding and the Allman Brothers Band, as it kicks off REARVIEW TOWN’s fiercely confident set of songs that catapult between traditional country grooves, stadium-sized rock riffs and rap-style boom-thwacks. The new music follows Aldean’s last three albums that each bowed at No. One on the all-genre Billboard 200 albums chart and all seven of his previous LPs have achieved PLATINUM certification or better, tallying more than 15 million total album sales. DARIUS RUCKER
WITH SPECIAL GUEST COREY SMITH

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 18 AT 8PM

Tickets on-sale Friday at 10am!

Country artist Darius Rucker will be bringing his high-energy performance to The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Saturday, October 18. Rucker will be joined by special guest Corey Smith. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10am.

Rucker, who first attained multi-platinum status as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist of Hootie & the Blowfish, wrote ten of the twelve tracks on his new album True Believers – ranging from his current single, the feel-good, sing-along, “Radio” to the sophisticated narrative of “Shine.”

Since re-introducing himself to the world as a country artist, Rucker has had a truly remarkable few years. In 2008, he released Learn to Live; the album’s first single, “Don’t Think I Don’t Think About It,” made him the first African American with a No. 1 country song since Charley Pride in 1983. It was followed by two more singles that topped the charts – “It Won’t Be Like This For Long” and “Alright” – and earned him the New Artist of the Year award at the 2009 CMA Awards. His 2010 follow-up, Charleston, SC 1966, included two more Number Ones, “Come Back Song” and “This.”

Rucker released True Believers on May 21. The album is the third consecutive album to top the Billboard Country albums chart and features the Platinum-certified, ACM and CMA nominated, GRAMMY award-winning two week No. 1 single “Wagon Wheel.”

In October 2012, Rucker achieved a childhood dream when he was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry.  Asked if he can believe the unprecedented success of his second career, Rucker just laughs. “From where I was five years ago to the Grand Ole Opry, why would I believe that?,” he says. “I didn’t even know if country radio was going to play my song, but you can’t think about things like that.”

Tickets, starting at $45 (plus applicable service fees), go on sale Friday at 10am at the Hard Rock Hotel Box Office, online at AXS.com or by calling 888-9-AXS-TIX.
