The Las Vegas Epicurean Affair returns to The Palazzo® Las Vegas on Thursday, May 22. Sponsored by the Nevada Restaurant Association (NvRA), the Las Vegas Epicurean Affair showcases prestigious restaurants and beverage purveyors that have elevated Las Vegas to an international dining destination. James Beard award-winning chef Julian Serrano will be the host of the culinary celebration.Hosted at The Palazzo for the fifth year, guests attending the Las Vegas Epicurean Affair will partake in an enticing evening, sampling cuisine and cocktails at the luxurious poolside setting at The Palazzo.“The Las Vegas Epicurean Affair is one of our favorite evenings of the year and we’re thrilled to partner with the Nevada Restaurant Association to bring the event back to The Palazzo for the fifth year,” said Sebastien Silvestri, vice president of food and beverage for The Venetian and The Palazzo. “It’s an amazing opportunity for guests to enjoy delicious selections from the best chefs in Las Vegas at a gorgeous poolside affair.”

This year, participants include Aquaknox, B&B Ristorante, Bouchon, Buddy V’s, Burger Bar, Carmine’s, Carnevino, DB Brasserie, Delmonico Steakhouse, Ferraro’s, Herbs & Rye, Il Mulino, Simon Restaurant & Lounge, TAO Asian Bistro and Wolfgang Puck’s Postrio, as well as many other illustrious Las Vegas restaurants.

“This event is the perfect way to showcase the wonderful restaurants and beverage purveyors of the city and to raise money for scholarships for our ProStart high school students,” said NvRA President and CEO Katherine Jacobi. “The Pools at The Palazzo are an incredible backdrop for this exciting event.”

The Las Vegas Epicurean Affair is open to the public and will be held on Thursday, May 22, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at The Pools at The Palazzo. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at www.palazzo.com or any Venetian or Palazzo box office. Tickets for the event are $175 for VIP tickets, which include early admission at 6 p.m., a VIP exclusive reception with passed hors d’oeuvrs and beverages with a meet and greet with Chef Julian Serrano from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., and a gift bag for the first 150 VIP guests; $155 for early admission at 6:00 p.m., and $105 for general admission. The event, sponsored by the Nevada Restaurant Association (NvRA) gives guests a taste of the gourmet offerings that have elevated Las Vegas to an international dining destination.

Hosted by The Palazzo, the Las Vegas Epicurean Affair promises a tantalizing evening of culinary splendor. Guests will savor samplings of cuisine and cocktails from prestigious restaurants and beverage purveyors in a luxurious poolside setting at The Palazzo for a palate pleasing event that is undoubtedly Las Vegas.

The Palazzo Las Vegas hosted the Las Vegas Epicurean Affair presented by the Nevada Restaurant Association featuring nearly 75 renowned restaurants and beverage purveyors last night. Approximately 1,800 guests mingled amongst the elegant Pools at The Palazzo and sampled culinary delights from local celebrated restaurants. Recognized as one of the city’s premier tasting events, this year’s sold out Epicurean Affair dazzled once again as world-class chefs tempted guests’ palates throughout the evening.

Guests started their culinary journey with chilled melon soup with bleu camen lemon grimala and citris gastrio from Lagasse’s Stadium and prosciutto-wrapped mozzarella and heirloom tomato salad from The Capital Grille before venturing to Bouchon’s short ribs and STK’s spiced pickled prawns.

Those looking for more exotic flavors didn’t have to travel far to find TAO’s tuna tenaki with wasabi salsa, Diego’s huitlacoche braised beef tacos and Bacio’s conchiglie con gamberi e arugula.

The three restaurants of celebrity chef and restaurateurs Mario Batali and Joe Bastianch, Carnevino, B&B Ristorante and Otto Enoteca, were combined into one booth while other favorites included Craftsteak’s beef tenderloin carpaccio with argula, parmesan and asparagus and Public House’s rabbit loin in porchetta with duck rillette fritter and raspberry passion fruit verrine.

Laguna Champagne Bar kept the bubbly flowing from the center bar with their signature Flower Eclipse champagne cocktail and a touch screen “Smart Bar” poured perfectly concocted libations. Diageo set up an ultra-lounge in Azure Pool’s rotunda where guests posed for silly photo booth pictures.

Sweet endings came from The Cupcakery’s mini cupcakes, Hash House a Go Go with strawberry shortcake and their ever-popular kiwi watermelon drink, Bouchon’s key lime pie parfait and Canyon Ranch Grill’s orange ginger mousse with praline.

Other participating restaurants included Mint Indian Bistro, Gilley’s Saloon, Delmonico Steakhouse, Maggiano’s, Origin India, Zine Noodles Dim Sum, Ferraro’s, FIRST Food & Bar, Double Helix, CUT by Wolfgang Puck, Postrio Bar & Grill, Aquaknox, Taqueria Canonita, Fogo de Chao, Beam Global, Il Mulino and SUSHISAMBA.
