Military personnel are invited to stop by any PT’s Tavern location on Veterans Day to receive a complimentary 12-ounce Bud Light bottle, with proof of valid military ID, while supplies last. Plus, military members can enjoy PT’s Happy Hour, named “Best Happy Hour” by the Las Vegas Weekly in 2019, which is available daily from 5 to 7 p.m., and midnight to 2 a.m. Specials include a 50 percent discount on drinks including wines by the glass, premium spirits and all craft and import beer, which includes PT’s own craft brews and guest favorites like Michelob Ultra and Bud Light.

Baja Miguel’s will offer a three-course menu for $22.95 per person for Thanksgiving, which includes the choice of a margarita or glass of wine. On Thursday, Nov. 28 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., guests will have the option to select from dishes including:

  • First Course: Autumn Farro Salad, with ancient grains, cranberries, toasted walnuts, pumpkin seeds, parmesan cheese and baby kale with an Italian vinaigrette; Warm Ricotta Cheese, with a prosciutto crostini; or Arancini Roma, filled with goat cheese in a spicy marinara sauce.
  • Second Course: Herb Roasted Young Turkey served with giblet gravy and an apple and chestnut dressing with the choice of Yukon gold creamed potatoes or maple glazed yams, baked acorn squash with cranberry relish and green beans; Turducken, with chicken rolled in a deboned duck with a homemade dressing and rolled again in a seasoned deboned turkey that is butter basted and slowly roasted. The Turducken is served with pan gravy, glazed yams, mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts; Sicilian Braciola, a flank steak rolled with breadcrumbs, pecorino cheese and baby spinach, and simmered in a tomato demi glazed with a side of pasta and seasonal vegetables; or Halibut San Sebastian poached in a seafood broth with claims and served with a lemon risotto and vegetables.

South Point Hotel’s Garden Buffet will serve a Thanksgiving Buffet on Thursday, Nov. 28 for $19.95 with a Club Card or $22.95 without a Club Card from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Garden Buffet will also offer a breakfast buffet from 7 to 10 a.m. for $9.99 with a Club Card or $11.95 without a Club Card. The Breakfast Buffet will include bottomless Bloody Marys.


The Thanksgiving Buffet will also include two glasses of draft beer, wine or champagne. Guests will have the opportunity to experience the Garden Buffet’s new live action salad bar with a variety of salads to selection from including made-to-order salads. Motor City Nights: A Tribute to the Music of Motown set the stage on fire Saturday as they headlined the M Resort Spa Casino. The nearly sold out concert offered a trip back in time featuring some of the biggest artists and hits of Motown history. Sharing the hits with the crowd from the M Pavilion stage, Motor City Nights gave a stellar performance and a truly awesome revival of the true Motown sound with unbelievable vocal performances, outstanding costumes and stellar choreography. The Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum and Kacey Musgraves now hold the GUINESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for the world’s largest display of coloring pages. The record was set yesterday, Oct. 22, 2019, National Color Day.

A 500-pound, rainbow-shaped display that included 1,550 coloring pages, submitted by people from more than 30 states, was unveiled yesterday in the museum’s Mike Curb Conservatory in support of the exhibition Kacey Musgraves: All of the Colors. Musgraves made an appearance at the museum and was joined by museum CEO Kyle Young to accept the award.

Kacey Musgraves: All of the Colors runs through June 7, 2020.

The Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum collects, preserves, and interprets country music and its history for the education and entertainment of diverse audiences. In exhibits, publications, and educational programs, the museum explores the cultural importance and enduring beauty of the art form. On top of his seven nominations for Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series on behalf of 30 Rock, Morgan was also nominated in the lead actor category for The Last O.G. at the NAACP Image Awards.

Morgan also recently appeared on the big screen in Paramount’s What Men Want, opposite Taraji P. Henson. Lost Vegas: Tim Burton @ The Neon Museum, presented by the Engelstad Foundation, is now open. The exhibition’s opening festivities included the Boneyard Ball at Encore at Wynn Las Vegas, where Burton was honored with The Neon Museum’s GLOW Award and guests enjoyed a performance by The Killers. Burton also spoke at a news conference preceding the public opening of the exhibition and signed 500 copies of his books for fans.

Lost Vegas: Tim Burton @ The Neon Museum comprises sculptural and digital installations celebrating Burton’s links to Las Vegas and its historical neon heritage. These artworks, many of which are site-specific creations, will be displayed in the Neon Boneyard and incorporated into Brilliant!, the museum’s permanent projection mapping North Gallery installation. Works play with the museum’s landmark sign collection, which was prominently featured in Burton’s 1996 film Mars Attacks! This irreverent homage to the sci-fi B-movies of the 1950s and 1960s and the disaster films of the 1970s unleashed gleefully destructive alien invaders upon gamblers, casino workers and Tom Jones. The presentation of Burton’s art in Las Vegas represents a unique experience where the host institution also serves as creative inspiration. The museum’s distinctive campus will be transformed through the artist’s singular vision for this original exhibition of new work as well as previously exhibited pieces.

Tim Burton is widely regarded as one of cinema’s most imaginative and visual filmmakers. He has achieved both critical and financial success in the live-action and animation genres. Burton’s accomplishments in filmmaking are a consequence of his artistic eye. Long before becoming a director, he expressed himself through drawing and painting, which also became an integral part of his creative process. Burton’s past exhibitions have drawn millions of patrons around the world in cities such as Melbourne, Los Angeles, Paris, Prague, Tokyo, São Paulo and Mexico City.  His exhibition at MoMA in New York City drew more than 800,000 visitors, making it the third most attended exhibition ever.

Ferraro’s Celebrates Truffle Season and 34th Anniversary in November

In November, Ferraro’s Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar  celebrates two highly anticipated fall occasions with two special menu events—its anniversary and white truffle season. 

This year marks the 34th anniversary of Ferraro’s Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar and the family invites the public to celebrate with them over two weekends featuring special menus. On Nov. 8 – 10 and Nov. 15 – 17, guests will enjoy a prix-fixe three-course menu highlighting many of Ferraro’s favorite dishes for an outstanding $34.34 per person. Guests may choose their appetizer (perhaps Calamari Fritti or Carpaccio di Manzo) and main course (selections include Spaghetti Aglio Olio and Pici Toscano—wild boar ragù). Plus, all diners receive a tempting “dolci” platter—a sampling of Ferraro’s famously indulgent desserts.

White truffle season comes to Ferraro’s on Tuesday, Nov. 19, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., when guests will savor one of the season’s most indulgent ingredients – Italian white truffles – at this special-occasion dinner. Italian white truffles are widely regarded as the most exquisite of all truffles. Their season runs typically from late October to late December. Truffles grow in the wild, where they enjoy a symbiotic relationship with mature oak, beech and hazelnut trees, from which they draw carbohydrates while growing underground. For this reason, truffles cannot be cultivated. That fact, together with their unmistakably rich and umami-filled flavor, makes truffles a universally rare and sought-after ingredient.

This extraordinary dinner stars the three revered Nebbiolo wines: Barbera, Barbaresco and Barolo—each one paired with dishes incorporating shaved white truffle:
