Beginning Sept. 28, Come Face-to-Face with Spirits who Haunt
World-Renowned Fisherman’s Wharf Attraction

Have you ever wondered whether it’s really possible to communicate with the spirits of the dead? Do your long-gone loved ones watch over you? Do the deceased have important messages to deliver from the afterlife? Some believe mediums can liaise between the living and the dead, providing rare revelations and spooky insights from beyond the grave. That’s why this Halloween, The San Francisco Dungeon will offer guided séances, offering visitors an uncanny glimpse of the spirits lurking beneath historic Fisherman’s Wharf. The San Francisco Dungeon seances launch Sept. 28, haunting guests until Nov. 4.

The San  Francisco Dungeon is the live-action attraction at Fisherman’s Wharf that invites guests to journey through the city’s darkest history. In an atmosphere conducive to spirit-conjuring—think creepy décor and an all-knowing crystal ball—the séance will be included with general admission to The San Francisco Dungeon so that you and your friends will have ample opportunities to meet the dead.

With no time to lose, aspiring escapees must stay calm, cool and collected and find clues to solve puzzles that reveal the infamous trio’s escape plans and secret tunnels. Can’t crack the codes? They’ll be locked away FOREVER! Of course, strategic players will break free and bask in freedom – glorious freedom!

MADAME TUSSAUDS SAN FRANCISCO TO OPEN
BRAND’S FIRST ESCAPE ROOM

RELIVE HISTORY’S MOST FAMOUS ESCAPE IN
“ALCATRAZ – THE BREAKOUT” BEGINNING WEDNESDAY, MAY 23

Madame Tussauds San Francisco will bring the world’s most famous prison escape to life in its new “Alcatraz – The Breakout” escape room, the first in the brand’s 250-year history. Themed after the infamous 1962 escape, the experience will open Wednesday, May 23 on Fisherman’s Wharf, just one mere mile from where it all took place – Alcatraz Island.

Step back to 1962 and follow in the nefarious footsteps of three Alcatraz criminals, Clarence Anglin, John Anglin and Frank Morris, who escaped from America’s most notorious prison.

Be cunning. Be brave. Be smart. Like them, you’ll need strategy to survive. You’ll also need to be ballsy as hell. Unlike them, you’ll only have 60 minutes to break out. Crack the code and solve the puzzles before the guards catch you.

Your life is in jeopardy – you’re locked inside a prison cell for a crime you didn’t commit. But you’re about to get a lucky break – a sympathetic guard confides that the sinister trio is plotting their escape and suggests you do the same.

Knowing there are just 60 minutes until the guards’ shift change, there’s no time to lose. Don’t panic! Stay calm, cool and collected and find clues to solve puzzles to reveal the trio’s escape plans and secret tunnels. Can’t crack the codes? You’ll be locked away FOREVER! Of course, strategic players will break free and bask in freedom – glorious freedom!

Madame Tussauds brought the best of the best to create “Alcatraz – The Breakout.” Rogue Productions, which designed Time Run – the London escape room hailed by media as, “the single greatest live game experience” – lent its stellar design skills to this experience.

And since it is Madame Tussauds, be on the lookout for a familiar face: vintage Clint Eastwood styled and ready for his own prison-break.

“We’re thrilled to open Madame Tussauds first escape room here in San Francisco,” says Dalia Goldgor, general manager, Madame Tussauds San Francisco. “Inspired by real events and in the shadow of Alcatraz, our escape room, will be funny, educational and most of all, a total blast!”

Beginning Wednesday, May 23, “Alcatraz – The Breakout” will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The escape room is designed for groups up to eight guests who are age 12 and over. Pricing will start at $125 per group of four people. Tickets are now on sale. For more information on pricing and to purchase tickets, click here.
