Later in the night, Miami Heat Assistant Coach Juwan Howard, former Golden State Warrior Jermaine O’Neal and Washington Wizards Point Gaurd John Wall were spotted at TAO’s Worship Thursday, as DJ Five provided the soundtrack for the evening.

Ally Brooke from Fifth Harmony was spotted dining at TAO Monday night in celebration of her 22nd birthday.  The pop singer, joined by a close group of friends, feasted on an array of sushi and sashimi, chicken fried rice with vegetables, short ribs, roasted shishito peppers and the restaurant’s famous dessert platter. During dinner, fans from around the world started trending #HappyBirthdayAlly on Twitter in honor of the starlette.


After dinner, Ally and her group made their way to Marquee Nightclub to continue the celebration from a VIP table on the dancefloor, as Dash Berlin provided the soundtrack for the main room.


The Fifth Harmony singer was greeted with a three-tier cake embellished in cheetah print, music notes and gold glitter, as they toasted ‘Happy Birthday’ to Ally. The pop star took multiple photos with fans and danced with friends before moving into the club’s intimate Boombox Room where DJ Lisa Pittman played Fifth Harmony’s “Worth It” as the group walked in. Ally and her friends danced to the group’s hit song, as the crowd went wild during the special moment.

Kim Kardashian West celebrated her 34th birthday at TAO Las Vegas on Friday along with friends, family and husband Kanye West. The entire group, which included Kris Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, Malika and Khadijah Haqq, Robin Antin, Jonathan Cheban and Simon Huck took in Kanye’s performance at the Life Is Beautiful music festival in downtown Las Vegas before heading to the birthday celebration. Kim arrived on the red carpet looking stunning in a plunging white Alexandre Vauthier dress, paired with Givenchy shoes. While on the red carpet, Kim was surprised by the massive group of fans that had gathered as they sang “Happy Birthday” to her. Khloe interacted with the fans as Kim walked the red carpet and Kanye signed a copy of the couple’s cover of Vogue magazine.


The entire group then made their way upstairs into TAO Nightclub where they were met with the screams of the crowd as well as a shower of confetti and illuminated signs spelling out the birthday girl’s name waiting at their VIP table on the dance floor. Also waiting at their VIP table and dispersed throughout the packed house were paper fans featuring Kim’s face as it is seen in her wildly successful app game “Kim Kardashian: Hollywood.” The celebrations quickly kicked off as Kim was surprised with a special birthday presentation featuring TAO’s mirror man along with a custom four-tier cake from Gimme Some Sugar as her husband’s song “Bound 2” rang out. DJ Eric D-Lux kept the party going, dropping several of Kanye’s hits to which Kim and sister Khloe sang along and danced to.

Also spotted at TAO was LA Dodgers’ Matt Kemp, who came over to Kim’s table at one point to say hello to the family.

Earlier that evening, Khloe Kardashian and Kris Jenner dined at TAO Asian Bistro with friends. From the restaurant’s private dining room the group enjoyed signature dishes including satay of Chilean sea bass, Yellowtail sashimi with jalapeño, peking duck and spicy tuna tartare on crispy rice.

Monday night, rapper Common hosted the official Creative Recreation party at Marquee Nightclub. Sporting a pair of Creative Recreation shoes, Common walked the red carpet before heading inside where he took over a VIP table near the dance floor with several friends. Shortly after, the rapper took center stage to treat the crowd to a high energy performance of some of his biggest hits including “Make Her Say,” “Go” and “Universal Mind Control.” While on stage, Common interacted heavily with the packed dance floor, holding several excited fans’ hands from the stage, taking photos and even including a few shout outs to certain partygoers during his impromptu freestyle rap. The surprise freestyle incorporated everything from Creative Recreation to Las Vegas to Marquee. With one particular line, “get live like we at the Marquee, say we came to party!” he ignited a “we came to party” chant from the excited crowd. Upon finishing his performance, he returned to his table and enjoyed the sounds from DJ Politik.

Friday night, hip hop great Busta Rhymes celebrated his birthday at TAO Nightclub. Upon arriving, the rapper enjoyed a special order of TAO Asian Bistro’s signature Miso Glazed Chilean Sea Bass that was sent upstairs to the nightclub per a request from the birthday boy himself. Later, Busta was surprised with a three-tier custom-made birthday cake. He then took over the DJ booth to wow the crowd with a performance of his classic hits as both champagne and confetti showers rained down. After closing out his performance, he returned to his VIP table to continue the celebrations as DJ Politik set the soundtrack.

TAO Group Collaborates with Snoop Dogg for The Snoopadelic Cabaret





Known for bringing first-to-market ideas to the nightlife industry, TAO Group continues to innovate, announcing a collaboration with Snoop Dogg for an exclusive six-date DJ and performance residency at TAO Las Vegas. The venue will transform into The Snoopadelic Cabaret, a roaring twenties themed night brought to life by the one and only Snoop Dogg as the Master of Ceremonies. Snoop Dogg, whose resume as DJ Snoopadelic has become infamous in the party industry, will headline each night with a special curated DJ set, along with a live performance of some hit songs. Tuesday night, television personality Whitney Port enjoyed dinner at TAO Asian Bistro. Accompanied by friends, Port ordered vegetable fried brown rice and steak and made sure to tell the waiter she loved the food.

Rapper Young Jeezy was also spotted dining with friends. His group enjoyed white tuna sashimi, spicy tuna tartare over crispy rice and other signature bites of sushi.

Additionally, the Asian bistro played host to actor and singer Eric Balfour who was seen dining with his family.

Friday night, TAO Nightclub launched Sakebomb Fridays, a new weekly event with an edgy Asian aesthetic highlighted by geisha go go dancers, an LED dragon and special performances. Present for the kick off was singer Bonnie McKee, best known for pop single “American Girl.” Celebrating her 30th birthday at a VIP table with friends, Bonnie was seen singing and dancing to the sounds of DJ Five throughout the night and was later surprised with a three-tier birthday cake embellished with stars and stripes.

Noted nightlife photographer Kirill took over LAVO’s Saturday Party Brunch to host a daytime installment of his Las Rageous party, complete with his signature champagne facials. Seen partying  at a table in the center of the action, Tiesto celebrated his 45th birthday at the wild midday affair. The superstar DJ was surprised with a cake presented by Kirill as the room cheered and champagne showers erupted.

Saturday evening, model and actress Brooklyn Decker celebrated a friend’s bachelorette party at TAO. The all-girl group started their evening in the restaurant with signature menu items including Buddha chicken, lobster wontons, dumplings and Miso Glazed Chilean Sea Bass. They then made their way to a VIP table in the nightclub where they took in the high energy club scene.  Brooklyn later tweeted a photo from the club thanking TAO for a fun night.

Grammy Award-winning singer Miguel hosted New Year’s Eve at TAO where he was joined by girlfriend Nazanin Mandi as well as family members and friends. Miguel’s group fueled up for the night with dinner in the restaurant’s private dining room with a special menu prepared by the chef. The R&B sensation then made his way to the DJ booth on the lower level of TAO where he hopped on the mic and wished the crowd, “…an amazing night you won’t remember and a 2014 you won’t forget,” before taking center stage for the countdown in the main room of the nightclub. As the clock winded down to the final moments of the year, Miguel hopped on stage with a bottle of Champagne in hand and sang along to the sounds of DJ Politik. He led partygoers in a countdown to midnight before sharing his New Year’s kiss with girlfriend Nazanin amongst confetti showers and cheers. He then kicked the year off with a medley of his hit songs including “Sure Thing,” “How Many Drinks?” “Adorn,” and “Power Trip.” After his performance, he settled into a VIP skybox that overlooked the entire club and enjoyed the rest of the night surrounded by family and friends.

Undefeated boxing champ Floyd Mayweather was also spotted celebrating at TAO. Joined by a group of friends, he took in the lively club from a VIP table and requested songs from DJ Politik.

At LAVO, DJ Vice brought in the New Year right with a high energy party and incredible Strip views of the fireworks from LAVO’s terrace as Dutch DJ Chuckie rang in 2014 at Marquee where the party scene went strong into the early morning.

Sage the Gemini hosted TAO’s Worship Thursday. The rapper and friends dined at TAO Asian Bistro, enjoying signature favorites and fueling up for the night.  After dinner they headed up to the nightclub, taking over a VIP table on the dance floor.  Sage the Gemini wowed the crowd when he took over the mic and treated club goers to his hit songs Gas Pedal and Red Nose off his debut album.  Fans sang along and girls could be seen doing the Gas Pedal dance from the video, which has become an internet sensation with more than 21 million views on YouTube.  Sage also hopped in the booth with DJ Justin Credible.

Saturday evening, Grammy Award-winning singer Miguel hosted TAO Nightclub. The R&B sensation treated a packed house to a thrilling performance of hits and powerful high notes. The excited crowd sang along word for word to “Sure Thing,” “Quickie,” “Power Trip,” and “Adorn” as a sea of camera flashes filled the room. After the energetic and soulful delivery, Miguel addressed the crowd asking who was coming to Vegas for New Year’s Eve before making a special announcement stating he will be ringing in 2014 at TAO. “You heard it here first – TAO Nightclub, Miguel, New Year’s Eve. I hope to see you there.” The singer then returned to his VIP table with girlfriend Nazanin Mandi and friends where he enjoyed the party scene.

Also at TAO, “Glee” star Darren Criss and “Pretty Little Liars” starlets Lucy Hale and Shay Mitchell were spotted at a VIP table. The group danced along with friends to the sounds of DJ Ross One.

Nas Celebrates his 40th Birthday at TAO; Busta Rhymes, Dave Chappelle, Trinidad Jame$ and more spotted

Hip Hop legend Nas kicked off his 40th birthday at TAO Beach on Saturday. Arriving with a group of friends, he enjoyed lunch while drinking Dom Perignon and Hennessey cocktails.  He was surprised by friend and fellow hip hop artist Busta Rhymes who came to say happy birthday. The two hung out in the cabana, laughing and singing along to the sounds of DJ Jerzy. Thrilled at the presentation, Nas was then treated to his second birthday cake of the weekend accompanied by a parade of large pool floats. He took photos with the treat adorned with a crown and Mets logo and was later seen tasting it with friends. “All Gold Everything” rapper Trinidad Jame$, who also spent his day at a VIP cabana poolside, later came over to say happy birthday. Nas’ group stayed until 5pm then left to get ready for the big fight.

Later that night, TAO continued Nas’ 40th birthday festivities with a post-fight party. Headlining the evening, Nas arrived in a Waraire Boswell designed gold and black suit and enjoyed dinner with friends in TAO Asian Bistro’s private dining room. The group then took over a VIP section in the center of the club where a custom graffiti wall of Nas’ name was displayed over the dance floor. Flashes filled the space and fans cheered as DJ Vice announced his arrival. Soon afterward, TAO put on a giant birthday presentation that featured a special showcase from professional b-boy dancers and a cake replica of the Queens Bridge. Late night after some Hennessy and Dom Perignon drinks, Nas jumped on the mic and thanked everyone for coming, stating, “I’m 40” while chuckling. He encouraged club goers to “live [their] life to the fullest, don’t stop and take it all the way.” DJ Vice then dropped a medley of his songs including “If I Ruled the World,” “Hate Me Now” and “The Don,” which he rapped along to.

Busta Rhymes, who dined at TAO Asian Bistro earlier that night, took over a VIP table next to Nas. Busta made sure to wish Nas a happy birthday and toast with the crowd to his career, professing his love and admiration for the legendary lyricist as well as dubbing the title of “King of New York.” He then got the entire room to scream “Happy Birthday Nas” before treating the packed room of hip hop fans to his verse from “Scenario” alongside Nas. Downing half of a bottle of Hennessey, Busta then rapped along to some of his hit songs before the royalty duo treated guests to a few tunes before getting back to partying. At 4 am, Busta got back on the mic and took the crowd through a catalogue of Nas’ greatest hits, schooling them on real hip hop.

Comedian Dave Chappelle was also spotted at TAO Nightclub. Chappelle first stopped in the restaurant to wish Nas a happy birthday before taking over a skybox in the nightclub where he also partied with the birthday boy and hopped in the DJ booth to greet the crowd. Trinidad Jame$ was seen partying at a table with friends as was former NFL star Marcus Stroud and actor Dash Mihok, who also had separate VIP tables that evening.

Sunday afternoon, Trinidad Jame$ took over TAO Beach in celebration of Labor Day Weekend. Headlining the previous night at TAO Nightclub, the “All Gold Everything” rapper hung out with friends at a cabana before taking to the stage. The crowd sang and danced along to the poolside performance as Jame$ delivered a medley of hit songs.

Sunday evening at LAVO Italian Restaurant, actor Chad Michael Murray was spotted at dinner. The group of five sipped on cocktails and enjoyed Tuna Tartare, Four Cheese Ravioli, Linguine with Mixed Seafood and Brick oven Salmon Oreganato before ending the night on a sweet note with LAVO’s 20 Layer Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake.

Thursday evening, hip hop royalty Ice Cube kicked off Labor Day Weekend at TAO Nightclub. The rapper, actor and producer made the night into a family affair, joined by his wife and two sons rappers OMG and DoughBoy along with friends. The group took over a VIP section overlooking the dance floor before Ice Cube treated the packed house to a special performance. The crowd sang along word for word to songs including “Why We Thugs,” “Check Yo Self,” and “You Can Do It” as son OMG, who will be playing his dad in the upcoming N.W.A  biopic, helped with hype man duties on the mic. Reminding partygoers that there was “no better place to be than TAO,” the hip hop superstar dropped hits “We Be Clubbin” and “It Was A Good Day.” Before his final song, Ice Cube thanked everyone for coming out — “I had fun jumping up here and jumping back up on the microphone. If you only remember one thing about me, let it be that I always rep that west,” closing out his performance with anthem “I Rep That West.” He then returned to his VIP table and took in the lively atmosphere to the sounds of DJ Five.

Actress Sophia Bush spent her second day in a row at TAO Beach on Saturday, continuing to celebrate her friend’s bachelorette party weekend. The ladies took in the sounds of DJ Gareth Emery from a VIP cabana while snacking on sushi and sipping on cocktails. After soaking up the sun in the afternoon, they were later spotted at TAO Asian Bistro where they took in the vibe dining scene a table near TAO’s 20-foot Floating Buddha. Sophia and the group danced in their chairs and enjoyed Miso-Glazed Chilean Sea Bass, Buddha Chicken, Wasabi-Crusted Filet Mignon and sushi.
