The Ultimate Stones have become best known for setting the bar in performance and production standards – the great Jagger/Richards songs that we all know and love performed completely LIVE (without any sweetener tracks or audio trickery), presented in a bedazzling concert reproduction of the real deal.
Born out of true fans’ love for the World’s Greatest Rock ‘n’ Roll Band, the initial casting call begot the first few key pieces in Keith, Bill and Charlie. Multiple Micks came and went until a stroke of great fortune led them to Mick Adams, who would portray Mick Jagger. Magic happened. Ronnie Wood numbers one through eight gave it their all, but it wasn’t until Ronnie Nine arrived that the band truly gelled. A decision then needed to be made – how do these mature gentlemen, who resembled their real life counterparts, pull this off? By representing the Rolling Stones as they are now, not as an anachronism.
All the iconic characters and their quirky mannerisms are painstakingly recreated: soaring harmonies and classic duets by Mick and the lovely Ultimate Stones ladies, Bill’s precision bass, Charlie’s rockin’ back beat, Keith’s and Ronnie’s integral guitar ‘weaving’, Bobby’s soulful sax, and Chuck’s honky tonkin’ keys – all the important ingredients that will meet your expectations, capture your imagination and have you believing that you’re witnessing the real thing.
