Dinosaurs & Roses Promotion

Dinosaurs & Roses hosts a special event weekend featuring music, art and raffle giveaways. Guests are encouraged to bring in non-perishable food, which will come back to Three Square, as well as clothing and household items. Guests will also have the opportunity to donate 20 percent of their purchase to Three Square by presenting this coupon upon check-out.

Tuff-N-Uff 20th Anniversary Event

Jeff Meyer, CEO of Tuff-N-Uff, the nation’s premier amateur mixed martial arts organization, hits a huge milestone with Tuff-N-Uff’s 20th anniversary next month. In honor of his brother Barry Meyer, the City of Las Vegas and fight fans everywhere, he will be presenting a classic live Tuff-N-Uff event free-of-charge. The event will feature six championship contests, as well as the finals of Tuff-N-Uff’s women’s straw weight tournament, which awards the winner a professional contract with the all-female Invicta FC mixed martial arts promotion. In addition, Meyer aims to set a new MMA attendance record and invites everyone in the community to help “PACK the MACK.” In partnership with Three Square Food Bank, Tuff-N-Uff will station collection bins for canned and packaged goods at entrances to the Thomas & Mack.

The Las Vegas 51s host the Nashville Sounds, Triple-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers and also presents Budweiser Dollar Beer Night on Thursday, June 19. Three Square Food Bank will receive a portion of proceeds from all tickets purchased using the promo code “threesquare.” Bring your friends and family and cheer on Three Square’s CEO and President Brian Burton as he throws the ceremonial first pitch. The 51s pride themselves in giving back to the community of Las Vegas, helping with annual school functions, visiting children’s hospitals and participating in charity events with various businesses and organizations in the Valley. The 51s is more than just offering fun and exciting entertainment during the summer months but the team is also a very important entity in the community.

 

TAP On for Charity – 8-Ball Tournament & Luncheon

TAP Las Vegas Pool League hosts TAP On for Charity on Saturday, June 21 in support of Three Square Food Bank and its mission to provide wholesome food to hungry people. The event will include lunch and also feature a raffle, offering a grand prize of a paid Rally in Dallas, valued at more than $500. Throughout May and June, community members are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items and may drop off donations in the collection bin located inside Putters.

 

YELP hosts Nerdy Bowling Night
Date: Tuesday, June 24

Cost: Suggested donation of $10 to benefit Three Square

 

YELPERS are invited to experience one of Vegas’ hottest new venues, Brooklyn Bowl located inside The LINQ Las Vegas, as they host a nerd-themed evening on Tuesday, June 24 to benefit Three Square. Whether it’s a classic bow tie, slicked-back hair, suspenders or lab-inspired eyeglasses, guests are also encouraged to make a suggested donation of $10. The event will feature small bites, cocktails and a raffle drawing where all proceeds from raffle ticket sales will come back to Southern Nevada’s only food bank.

Celebrando Hispanic Festival

This one-day Hispanic festival brings music, food, and dance together for a community celebration. It will feature various Hispanic food vendors that prepare authentic quality cuisine for a genuine dining experience. The headline performers and entertainers will captivate audiences with their amazing showmanship, talent, and passion on stage. Hispanic culture is all about community and this festival will bring families, food, music, organizations, and businesses from our community to share our celebration. A percentage of the ticket sales will benefit Three Square as well as nonperishable food items collected through the festival’s food drive.

 

Fall Las Vegas Restaurant Week

Three Square Food Bank invites the public to explore many of our city’s top dining establishments when Fall Las Vegas Restaurant Week returns Friday, August 22 through Thursday, August 28, for its eighth year. To take part in Las Vegas Restaurant Week, diners can visit any participating restaurant during the specified dates. Each restaurant will create their own prix-fixe, delicious menu offering at price points ranging from $20.14 to $50.14, with a fixed portion of the proceeds – $4, $5, or $6 – benefitting Three Square and the fight against hunger in Southern Nevada. In early August, guests may visit www.helpoutdineoutlv.org for an updated list of Fall Las Vegas Restaurant Week participants and menu details. The easy-to-navigate, mobile-friendly site allows diners to search by type of cuisine, restaurant location or donation amount.
