Iconic property to re-define the steakhouse experience with Oakville Steakhouse
As a part of the continued revitalization of the iconic Las Vegas Strip property, Tropicana Las Vegas will soon debut an all-new Napa Valley-inspired steakhouse concept, Oakville Steakhouse. Set to emerge on the scene Saturday, June 17, the restaurant will celebrate the legendary acclaimed wines of the Napa Valley with a wide variety of cuts including dry-aged, Wagyu and grass fed beef – serving up a unique steakhouse experience inside the iconic Tropicana Las Vegas.
“Keeping in mind the California-dominant leisure guest and wine lovers alike, we are thrilled to announce the debut of our newest dining concept, Oakville Steakhouse,” said Aaron Rosenthal, VP and General Manager for Tropicana Las Vegas. “Las Vegas continues to be one of the top travel destinations in the world and with dining experiences becoming more of a deciding factor for travel plans, we wanted to offer our guests and Marquee Rewards members an all-new re-defined steakhouse experience to enjoy for any occasion.”
Oakville Steakhouse will be open for lunch and dinner seven nights a week and serve up the highest quality cuts of beef, game, and seafood available, along with a nightly carving special served tableside. A selection of Texas Wagyu, including a New York strip, bone-in ribeye and filet mignon, is procured from Rosewood Ranch, known for its naturally raised beef in an environmentally sensible environment. Paired to elevate and complement the overall experience, the wine list will feature an emporium of famous Napa Valley wines such as Far Niente, Nickel & Nickel, Opus One, PlumpJuck, Screaming Eagle, Silver Oak, and Turnbull, to name a few – available in a bottle or by the glass, complete with suggested menu pairings.
Boasting a luxurious feel with an easy, approachable style, Oakville Steakhouse will allow guests to be transported to Wine Country – without the travel fees. Upon entry, guests will be treated to the visually stunning wine wall showcasing over 150 bottles of the most prestigious red wines that even the most casual wine consumer is familiar with. Design elements around the main dining room will showcase artwork and photographs of the renowned vineyards, wineries, and surrounding areas of Oakville – allowing for a unique expression of winery styling with a contemporary feel. In addition, guests looking to host private events such as a business meeting, networking affair or a wedding celebration, a private dining room will be available for up to 40 guests.
Tropicana Las Vegas continues in the efforts of its property-wide refresh to offer a selection of non-gaming amenities, along with a new attitude of approachability and an upgraded guest experience with the addition of several food and beverage accommodations. Since late 2016, the property has added Barista Café, a coffee bar with a grab and go experience, and Fresh Mix, a quick serve restaurant with salad and wraps. This summer 2017, the property will open Oakville Steakhouse and Robert Irvine’s Public House – allowing for a full array of dining options on property.
