Free tickets offered to active duty military for Military Appreciation Night and pregame tailgate featured for Feb. 8 game, scheduled for 7 p.m. at Thomas & Mack Center

UNLV Athletics has announced that it will offer fans a $2 beer option during its men’s basketball game vs. Air Force on Tuesday, Feb. 8.

 

The $2 beers will be 12 oz. Miller Lite and will be available at designated locations throughout the arena.

 

It is also Military Appreciation Night and active duty military are being offered two free tickets to the 7 p.m. game at the Thomas & Mack Center.

 

To claim two free tickets, active duty military must show their military ID at the Thomas & Mack Center Box Office in advance or on game day.

 

Additionally, a pregame tailgate in front of the TMC near the Tarkanian Statue, featuring the Army National Guard Experience, will start at 5 p.m., with games and a live DJ.

 

Also, the new student loyalty program, which will culminate in a custom Nike Air Force 1 shoe giveaway, will continue Tuesday. To be eligible to receive the pair of shoes, UNLV students must bring the card they received before the SJSU game and have it punched at the student entrance at Cox Pavilion prior to, and at the conclusion of, the Air Force game.

The Runnin’ Rebels, who have won two straight games and three of their last four, will play at Utah State on Saturday, Feb. 5 at 3 p.m. PT. The game will be televised on CBS Sports Network and broadcast on radio on ESPN Radio 1100 in Las Vegas.
