RUNNIN’ REBELS OPEN REGULAR SEASON FRIDAY NIGHT
UNLV men’s basketball begins 2013-14 campaign against Portland State at Thomas & Mack Center at 7:30 p.m.
Coming off a win in its second exhibition game of the season, the UNLV men’s basketball team will open its regular season on Friday, Nov. 8, against Portland State at 7:30 p.m. at the Thomas & Mack Center. The game is part of a doubleheader with women’s basketball as the Lady Rebels are hosting Santa Clara at 4:30 p.m.
UNLV went 1-1 during the exhibition portion of the 2013-14 season, falling 71-70 to Dixie State on Nov. 1, then defeating Adams State 72-67 on Tuesday.
Friday’s game will have no television coverage, however a live video stream will be available for free at UNLVRebels.com (MWN – Student-Produced UNLV-TV).
Jon Sandler and Robert Smith will handle the radio call, which may be heard live on ESPN Radio 1100 AM/98.9 FM. A listen link as well as Gametracker will also be available at UNLVRebels.com.
