As the second FENDI space within The Forum Shops – something found nowhere else – this new boutique will enhance the original offering by carrying a full collection of Ready-to-Wear and fur, handbags, accessories and shoes. The most unique quality of this innovatively designed boutique is its homage to the Italian architectural marvel, the Pantheon. Crafted in Rome and imported to the U.S., the entire ceiling of the boutique replicates the dome of the inspiring Roman Pantheon. Using traditional Italian techniques, highly trained artisans and the finest materials, the coffered ceiling is a perfectly symmetrical dome, as tall as it is wide – a strategic design to symbolize the heavens. The oculus is specifically engineered to allow light to move through the space as the earth rotates, a visual representation and reminder of the Gods above. As a historical Italian symbol of faith, design and culture, the Pantheon dome within the FENDI boutique is a testament to FENDI’s core brand values of craftsmanship and tradition.
