Vic’s – New American Cuisine Review

Some journeys are worth the reward and this is true of Vic’s New American Cuisine restaurant in Henderson. When you Google or MapQuest “2450 Hamptom Road 89052” you will see what I mean. But took the trip and found that it was well worth it. Located at the top of Anthem and the base of the Black Mountain range this restaurant has a magnificent view of the city and a dining experience to match. We could tell right away this was going to be an exceptional experience because Vic’s paid attention to details. We were promptly seated and the culinary magic began. Dave our server took our drink order and we began deciding on our appetizers. We chose the Mini Corn-On-The-Cobs and the Truffle Mushroom Ravioli and they were awesome. After a round of salads we were ready for the main fare. Three different steaks and the Sweet Thai Chicken were our selections. A flatiron steak, Filet by Itself, and “The Cowboy” Steak. Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic. Juicy, tender, well seasoned and cooked to perfection all three steak entrees were ….. fantastic. The menu has quite an assortment of great choices and I can’t wait to try the Caramel Apple Pork Chop or the Rack of Lamb. Next time.

For dessert we ordered the famous one of everything and coffee. We had the standard Ice Cream Sundae, the Belgium waffle sundae, the Chocolate Cake for 2, ` Apple Tart Ala-Mode, and the finale – The Nuttabutta. We shared them all and there was nothing, yes I said nothing left when we were done. Great desserts and a fitting way to wrap up the evening. The sun was just setting as we finished and It was as beautiful as our dining experience. Check all the details of Vic’s at, take the drive and enjoy. We highly recommend you take your Mom to Vic’s for Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet !!
