Vons’ Annual Fundraising Campaign Supports Easter Seals Nevada During the Month of April
Vons Stores Across the Valley Now Accepting Donations at Checkout Through April 30
Each year, Vons dedicates the month of April to its Support for People with Disabilities fundraising campaign to benefit Easter Seals, Special Olympics and an array of organizations that help people with disabilities live fuller, more independent lives. Through April 30, all Vons stores across the Las Vegas valley will be accepting donations at checkout to benefit Easter Seals Nevada. Ninety cents of each dollar raised directly supports individuals served by the organization.
“We are extremely grateful for the generosity of Vons,” said Brian Patchett, President and CEO of Easter Seals Nevada. “This campaign is an exciting endeavor that will benefit more than 7,000 individuals across the state who receive services from Easter Seals Nevada.”
Vons will also use in-store broadcasts and video messages to customers and employees to share information about breakthroughs in research and new programs that help millions of people with disabilities around the world. To date, Vons has raised and donated more than $130 million to support organizations such as Easter Seals, Special Olympics and a range of other organizations that assist people with special needs.
