Silverton Casino Lodge announces its May gaming promotions and hotel experiences, including Cinco de Mayo and Mother’s Day specials.
DINING
Cinco de Mayo
Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with friends and family! Available May 3-5 and May 10-12, Mi Casa Grill Cantina will offer family-style fiesta platters, including:
· Cerveza Loca (Mexican beer party platter), with three Modelo beers, rimmed with Chamoy and Tajin, shrimp ceviche, oyster “preparado” and fresh avocado ($50)
· A trio of ribs made with barbeque chipotle glazed beef ribs, chili-spiced pork ribs, Mexican corn ribs and crispy pork rinds ($58)
· Cocktail of the Sea made with charred octopus, oysters, lump crab, shrimp, guacamole, cocktail sauce and crispy pork rinds ($52)
· Modelo shrimp boil made with 2 lb. shrimp, snow crab legs, Modelo bouillon, pickled vegetables, lemon vinaigrette and Tajin ($62)
Mother’s Day
Silverton Casino Lodge is giving you a multitude of ways to celebrate with Mom this Mother’s Day with exclusive menus available only on Sunday, May 12.
Mi Casa Grill Cantina will offer:
· Seafood tostada made with shrimp, white fish, charred octopus, lump crab salad and a tomato-cucumber and avocado relish ($22)
· Camerones Espaguetis made with housemade pasta, poblano cream sauce, garlic-lime shrimp and queso fresco ($35)
· Pineapple upside-down cheesecake with a brown sugar cookie crust and caramelized pineapple ($11)
Su Casa’s Mother’s Day specials include:
· Oyster motoyaki featuring baked Japanese-style oysters with miso mayonnaise ($22)
· Pan-seared Kampachi made with lobster-truffle sauce, ginger-scented steamed rice and shiitake mushroom-creamed spinach ($35)
· Matcha crepe cake with green tea chantilly cream ($11)
From 4-9 p.m., Twin Creeks Steakhouse will offer:
· Shaved heirloom carrot salad with whipped goat cheese spread, basil pesto vinaigrette, toasted hazelnuts and roasted mushrooms ($16)
· Pan-seared branzino with smoky white bean ragout, tomato chimichurri, pickled fennel and baby arugula ($48)
· Raspberry white chocolate cheesecake ($11)
Throughout Mother’s Day, guests can enjoy limited-time specials at Sundance Grill, including:
· Butter-poached lobster risotto with pea shoots, crispy prosciutto bits and your choice of house salad or soup ($29)
· Peaches and cream made with roasted peaches, pound cake, vanilla bean anglaise and streusel crumble ($9)
National Wine Day
In celebration of National Wine Day on May 23, Twin Creeks Steakhouse will offer half-price bottles of wine with a purchase of an entrée.

May 3 – Metalachi
The world’s first and only heavy metal mariachi band, Metalachi, will return to the Veil Pavilion stage on Friday, May 3 at 8 p.m. as they perform classic metal covers fused with classic mariachi. General admission tickets start at $35 with first-come, first-served seating. Doors open at 7 p.m.
May 4 – Galactic Empire
May the fourth be with you! Join the galaxy’s foremost progressive technical heavy metal Star Wars cosplay John Williams tribute band, Galactic Empire, at Veil Pavilion on Saturday, May 4 at 8 p.m. General admission tickets start at $35 with first-come, first-served seating. Doors open at 7 p.m.
May 10 – Gipsy Kings featuring Tonino Baliardo
On Friday, May 10, Gipsy Kings and their leader Tonino Baliardo will perform live for their Génération Tour at Veil Pavilion at 8 p.m. Undisputed masters of gypsy music, the group has sold over 20 million albums worldwide and has been awarded numerous gold, platinum and diamond discs, a music victory in 1990 and a Grammy Award in 2013 in the Best World Music category for their album, “Savor Flamenco.” General admission tickets start at $70 with first-come, first-served seating. Doors open at 7 p.m.
Mermaid School for Kids is available May 11 and 25 from 8:30-10 a.m.
Mermaid School for Adults is available May 12 and 26 from 8:30-10 a.m.
Mermaid Swims Mondays through Wednesdays from 4-8 p.m., Thursdays through Saturdays from 12-8 p.m., and Sundays from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Interactive stingray feedings daily at 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Live Music in Mermaid Lounge with Mermaid Lounge Live!
Fridays and Saturdays from 8-11 p.m. Free admission with acoustic music from local artists. Open to the public. Must be 21+.

On May 2, a random winner will be chosen every hour from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. to win $100 in free slot play. Plus, active players on either side of the winner will each win $25 in free slot play.
