STATION CASINOS DEBUTS ALL-NEW LOOK OF SELECT ROOMS AND SIGNATURE SUITES AT ITS RED ROCK & GREEN VALLEY RANCH CASINO RESORT & SPA LOCATIONS

Station Casinos antes up for the new year with an array of wide-ranging room renovations at its Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa and Green Valley Ranch Casino Resort & Spa  locations. Guests checking into the AAA Four Diamond-rated Las Vegas and Henderson destinations will now be able to enjoy the all-new look and feel of the newly refreshed hotel rooms and enhanced suites, respectively, making for the ultimate off-strip visit to Southern Nevada.

Guests visiting the Las Vegas and Henderson resorts are invited to experience the new rooms, including:

Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa

Just more than 700 deluxe king and deluxe double queen rooms and 55 Signature Suites on the property are newly renovated and have been transformed into modern, desert oasis-inspired getaways ranging up to 2,065 square feet. Each offers stunning views of the Las Vegas Strip, Red Rock Canyon, and the Sandbar Pool area.

The new hotel rooms and Signature Suites located inside the Red Rock Tower take on a contemporary approach to its established desert modern-inspired décor. Upon entry into the tower, guests will be wowed by the cloud-like chandeliers found in the corridors, each offering reflections and colors resembling the orange and red tones of the desert morning sun. In addition, the common areas are rounded out by a rich red carpet and an ivory textural wall-covering, welcoming every guest upon arrival.

Each room features a bright and airy ambiance with a loft-like feel, complete with a fresh palette, sleek lines and polished materials that each pay tribute to the existing surroundings, from the Las Vegas Valley to Red Rock Canyon. Guests will be able to enjoy the picturesque views and the room’s refreshing textural palette complete with subtle patterns on fabrics, cream wall-covering and champagne draperies grounded by a rich chocolate brown carpet and light-colored ombre accents. Plus, guests will be able to experience new amenities such as a 65-inch high definition TV, RFID room key technology, and expanded WIFI coverage, as well as a pull-out sleeper sofa available in its Signature Suites.

Red Rock Resort opened in April 2006 and has earned numerous local and national accolades including being named to Conde Nast magazine’s Hot List of the world’s top new hotels; annual recognition by AAA as a four-diamond rated resort; ranked annually among the “Best Hotels In Las Vegas” by U.S. News & World Report, named “Best Locals Hotel” by the readers of the Las Vegas Review-Journal and named “Casino of the Year” by the Academy of Country Music.

In honor of its all-new experience, Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa will kick off the new year with its “New Year, New Room” package. Guests can redeem the special offer, featuring $50 food and beverage credit per stay, by using the code NEW YEAR NEW ROOM (phone) or NYNEWROOM (online).

Green Valley Ranch Casino Resort & Spa

Both The Strip and Presidential Suites have been recently renovated and now feature a unique sensory experience for the premier guest, ranging up to 2,750 square feet. Each offers spectacular views of the Las Vegas Strip, eight-acre Backyard pool area, and the 35,000-square-foot spa and salon.

Boasting 2,000 square feet, The Strip Suite brings forth the elegant sensation of a well-tailored gown on a night out. Featuring one bedroom and one-and-a-half-bathrooms (with optional one-bedroom and one-bathroom petite suite connector available), guests will enjoy the soft yet classic color palette that has transformed the suite into the sensation of chic elegance. The living space features a light and airy open concept and embodies neutral tones throughout the space including a comfortable white sofa accompanied by coffee and sofa tables. In addition, guests can enjoy the suite’s butler kitchen, bar, six-person dining table, a 50-inch high definition TV, and an outdoor terrace that overlooks both the Backyard pool area and Las Vegas Strip. Whether the guest is looking for a romantic night for two or an elegant cocktail party location with friends, The Strip Suite offers the ultimate experience for any occasion, complete with an amazing view of the Las Vegas Strip.

The Presidential Suite features over 2,500 square feet and derives its experiential aesthetic from the creative and colorful emotion of a well-procured art gallery. Showcasing one-bedroom and one-and-a-half-bathrooms (with optional one-bedroom and one-bathroom mini suite connector available), guests will be able to enjoy a sensory experience through the suite’s impressive artwork found throughout the room. Upon entry into the room, guests will be wowed by its gallery-like feel complete with neutral tones, allowing the art to speak for itself. In addition, guests can enjoy the suite’s spacious entertainment area featuring a sophisticated glass foosball table, three televisions including a 65-inch high definition TV and two 50-inch high definition TVs with an integrated music system and upgraded surround sound, bar, and a large outdoor terrace that overlooks the Backyard pool area. The Presidential Suite offers the perfect array of luxury, allowing guests to relax in style during any escape to the Henderson-based resort.

Green Valley Ranch Resort opened in December 2001 and is the first boutique luxury resort built off the Las Vegas Strip with nearly 500 rooms and suites, a 35,000-square-foot spa and salon, a full array of gaming and entertainment and several restaurants and bars. It’s a AAA Four Diamond Award-winning escape that combines exciting casino action and the pampering and relaxation of a luxury resort and spa. As the “star” of the popular Discovery Channel reality program “American Casino” for three years, millions of viewers had the opportunity to experience everything Green Valley Ranch Resort has to offer as they followed executives from the property to catch a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to run a luxury resort.

LEGENDARY ROCK BAND THE WHO ANNOUNCE SIX SHOWS AT THE COLOSSEUM AT CAESARS PALACE IN MAY

LEGENDARY ROCK BAND THE WHO
ANNOUNCE SIX SHOWS AT THE COLOSSEUM
AT CAESARS PALACE MAY 5 – 16, 2020

Legendary rock band The Who have announced they’ll be moving on in 2020 with more tour dates. Not quite ready to close the books on their acclaimed MOVING ON! TOUR, singer Roger Daltrey and guitarist/songwriter Pete Townshend pair with local symphony orchestras across North America for a once-in-a-lifetime rock experience, as hailed by critics. The band will return to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace for a series of six shows May 5, 7, 9, 12, 14 and 16, 2020.

Tickets starting at $69 go on sale to the general public starting Friday, Dec. 13 at 10 a.m. PST at ticketmaster.com or in-person at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace box office. The Who fan club members will have access to a presale beginning Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 10 a.m. PST.

Citi is the official presale credit card for The Who’s MOVING ON! TOUR. As such, Citi cardmembers will have access to purchase presale tickets beginning Monday, Dec. 9 at 10 a.m. PST through Citi EntertainmentSM. For complete presale details visit www.citientertainment.com.

In addition, Caesars Rewards members, Caesars Entertainment’s loyalty program, as well as Live Nation and Ticketmaster customers will have access to a presale beginning Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 10 a.m. PST. All presales end Thursday, Dec. 12 at 10 p.m. PST. All shows are scheduled to begin at 8 p.m., with the exception of the show on May 16, which will begin at 9:30 p.m.

As always, the upcoming shows will feature The Who’s full live band comprised of guitarist/backup singer Simon Townshend, keyboardist Loren Gold, bassist Jon Button, drummer Zak Starkey and backing vocals by Billy Nicholls along with orchestra conductor Keith Levenson, lead violinist Katie Jacoby and lead cellist Audrey Snyder, passionately delivering The Who’s many classics. As well as some songs from The Who’s brand new album, titled WHO, their first full-length album in 13 years, available everywhere this Friday, December 6. The recent single ‘All This Music Must Fade,’ has also drawn praise as “The Who’s defiant post-script” by The New York Times. A recent Rolling Stone feature proclaimed the album a worthy addition to their canon, noting the above-mentioned track and “Street Song,” citing “Daltrey’s anguished vocal” as “among the more moving performances of his career.”

Local symphonies will again be joining The Who for the 2020 shows, putting their indelible stamp on the music’s timelessness in support of Roger and Pete’s trademark emotional power. The 2019 spring and fall legs of the MOVING ON! TOUR generated the most unanimous outpouring of acclaim from critics and fans of any live rock show this year, winning raves across North America for the orchestral dynamic as well as the duo’s cathartic rock firepower and intimate acoustic numbers. “They’re not getting older. They’re getting better. You better, you better, you bet.” hailed the Worcester Telegram, with Pollstar Magazine affirming “Daltrey is in peak form, and so is Townshend, lavishing his trademarked windmill guitar motion.”

Produced by Live Nation, The Who’s North American MOVING ON! TOUR brought the band’s iconic brand of incomparable rock through 29 cities, including a rollicking sold-out barn-burner in Boston’s famed Fenway Park, and a memorable Seattle show where Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder joined them onstage for a rousing version of “The Punk And the Godfather,” with Eddie’s wife and daughter in attendance.  The tour also wound down in grand style, with a series of October shows at LA’s historic Hollywood Bowl, the first time the band played three dates at the landmark venue during one touring cycle.

For more information about The Who’s 2020 dates, visit LiveNation.com or thewho.com.

$1 from each ticket sold for the MOVING ON! TOUR will benefit Teen Cancer America .

THE WHO

The Who are one of the top three greatest rock legacies in music history. Their music provoked explosive change and spanned what many critics declare is rock’s most elastic creative spectrum, with Pete Townshend’s songwriting moving between raw, prosaic, conceptual, and expressively literate. Their visionary sense of stagecraft headed by Roger Daltrey’s soaring vocal prowess is topped off by the band’s blistering rhythm section. With both Roger and Pete delivering their memoirs in recent years (Pete’s Who I Am was released to much acclaim in 2012, and Roger’s autobiography, Thanks A Lot Mr. Kibblewhite; My Story, was embraced by critics in 2018) it’s fitting that the two remaining WHO members have shared their incredible legacy in literary fashion, for few bands have had a more lasting impact on the rock era and the reverberating pop culture than The Who.

Emerging in the mid-1960s as a new and incendiary force in rock n’ roll, their brash style and poignant storytelling garnered them one of music’s most passionate followings, with the legendary foursome blazing a searing new template for rock, punk, and everything after. Inducted into the Rock n’ Roll Hall Of Fame in 1990, the band has sold more than 100 million records worldwide, placing 27 top-forty singles in the United States and United Kingdom and earning 17 Top Ten albums, including the 1969 groundbreaking rock opera Tommy, 1971’s pummeling Live At Leeds, 1973’s Quadrophenia and 1978’s Who Are You.  The Who debuted in 1964 with a trio of anthems “I Can’t Explain,” “The Kids Are Alright” and “My Generation.” Since then they have delivered to the world hits such as “Baba O’Riley,” “Won’t Get Fooled Again,” “Pinball Wizard,” Who Are You,” and,” You Better You Bet.”

In 2008, they became the first rock band ever to be awarded the prestigious Kennedy Center Honors. The Who has performed all over the world including global music events for the Super Bowl XLIV Halftime Show in 2010 and closing the London 2012 Summer Olympics. The Who continued their charity work by playing a concert in January 2011 to raise money for trials of a new cancer treatment called PDT. In December 2012 they performed at the Hurricane Sandy Benefit in New York. In January 2014 they played a set on the U.S. television special to support the charity Stand Up To Cancer. In November 2012 Daltrey, with Townshend at his side, launched Teen Cancer America. The charity is now established in the USA, with offices in Los Angeles and devoted Teen Cancer units being opened in hospitals all over the U.S. TCA’s work has impacted over 5,000 young people and their families nationwide during the last six years.
