‘Mike and Molly’ Star Billy Gardell Returns to Treasure Island March 27

Actor and stand-up comedian Billy Gardell will perform at Treasure Island for one-night only on March 27 at 9 p.m.

Starring alongside Melissa McCarthy, Gardell is most well known for his role as the good-hearted Chicago police officer Mike Briggs in the hit CBS series “Mike & Molly.” He also served as host for “Monopoly Millionaires Club,” earning a daytime Emmy award nomination in 2016. His extensive television credits include “Sun Records,” “Young Sheldon” and the critically-acclaimed “Lucky.”

As a stand-up comedian, Gardell has toured the country, sharing tales of his tough childhood, adolescent years and family life. In 2011, he returned to his hometown, Pittsburgh, for the Comedy Central special “Billy Gardell: Halftime.” His second special “Billy Gardell Presents Road Dogs” premiered on Showtime in 2014.

On the big screen, Gardell can be seen in “Bad Santa,” “You, Me & Dupree” and alongside Sylvester Stallone and Anthony Quinn in “Avenging Angelo.”

Currently, Gardell stars in the CBS series “Bob Hearts Abishola” as Bob Wheeler, a businessman determined to win the heart of his cardiac nurse.

Comedy Superstars Unite at the 24/7 ComedyFest at the Orleans Arena April 23 

A night of laughter is in store as top comedians Billy Gardell, T.J. Miller, Frank Caliendo and more join forces for the 24/7 ComedyFest at the Orleans Arena on April 23.

Billy Gardell is best known for his role as Officer Mike Biggs on the CBS hit sitcom “Mike & Molly,” starring alongside Melissa McCarthy. Prior to “Mike & Molly,” Gardell had a recurring role on “Yes Dear” as Billy Colavita and on “My Name Is Earl” as Officer Hoyne.

T.J. Miller currently stars as Erlich Bachman on the Golden Globe-nominated HBO series “Silicon Valley” for which he received the Critics’ Choice Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Television Comedy. Miller most recently appeared as Weasel in the action-comedy “Deadpool.”

Frank Caliendo is a veteran of televised comedy and has starred in numerous television shows including “MADtv” and his own series “Frank TV.” He is also known for his spot-on impressions, and has been known to imitate famous actors Al Pacino and Robert De Niro; former Presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton; and broadcasters John Madden, Charles Barkley and Jon Gruden.

Bobby Slayton, often referred to as “The Pitbull of Comedy,” is most recognized in movies such as “Get Shorty,” “Ed Wood,” “Bandits” and “Dreamgirls.” He has also appeared on dozens of television shows including “The Tonight Show” and “Politically Incorrect.”

Jackie “The Joke Man” Martling was a long time cast member and head writer for “The Howard Stern Show” for eighteen years. He can be heard on “The Jim Kerr Rock & Roll Morning Show” in the New York tri-state region, and nationally on John Fugelsang’s “Tell Me Everything.”

Actor and comedian Brian Scolaro got his start at The Comedy Cellar in New York City. He is most known for this appearances on “Conan”, his Comedy Central special “Comedy Central Presents: Brian Scolaro,” as Doug on TBS’s “Sullivan & Son” and as Stuart on FOX’s “Stacked.”

Steve “Mudflap” McGrew is known for his high-energy shows and subject material that is drawn from day-to-day life. He is a regular at Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club, The Laugh Factory and Sin City Comedy Club in Las Vegas.
