Watch Now: The Stars Align As Home Free, Lee Greenwood & The United States Air Force Band Come Together For A Special Take On “God Bless The U.S.A.”

Serves as First Collaborative Release From The United States Air Force Band

Just in time for the 4th of July, all-vocal Country entertainers Home Free have teamed up with GRAMMY-winning icon Lee Greenwood and The United States Air States Air Force Band for a soulful rendition of Greenwood’s “God Bless the U.S.A.”

With years of covering the patriotic smash under their belts, Home Free was looking to elevate their traditional arrangement of “God Bless the U.S.A.” to new heights, and they did just that. By joining together across the nation with Greenwood and The United States Air Force Band’s official chorus – The Singing Sergeants, this new rendition of the timeless tune not only showcases over a dozen voices, but also serves as The United States Air Force Band’s very first collaborative release.

“Being able to sing a song that has inspired our nation for years is such an honor,” says Home Free’s Austin Brown. “And then you add in the fact that we were able to do it not only with the original artist, but also The United States Air Force Band – such an incredible experience! I just hope it shines a little light into people’s days, like it has in mine.”

“How wonderful to sing with Home Free – such artistic singers,” shares Greenwood. “I’ve never before enjoyed such freedom to be able to sing ‘God Bless the U.S.A.’ – like you’ve never heard it. Thank you as well for the fantastic singers from The United States Air Force. They can really sing! Happy Independence Day, America.”

Home Free, Greenwood and The United States Air Force Band hope to have the opportunity to perform their special rendition soon.

Cirque du Soleil is opening up its vault of historical recordings for the first time ever, offering fans selected acts of iconic shows from its earliest days. On Friday June 12th, as part of its CirqueConnect special programming, three of the first shows to ever be performed under the Cirque du Soleil Big Top will be unveiled in a brand new 60-minute special: Cirque Réinventé, Nouvelle Expérience and Saltimbanco.

These early creations show how Cirque du Soleil has completely transformed circus acts into an internationally recognized live theatrical experience. Featuring Cirque Réinventé from 1987 Nouvelle Expérience from 1990 and Saltimbanco from 1992, viewers can witness the undeniable artistic and creative growth from the world-famous entertainment producer.

As seen throughout those conceptual productions, Cirque du Soleil has changed the entertainment world by reinventing traditional acts that became uniquely poetic where the performance is part of a more theatrical and dynamic story line.

Dedicated to Cirque du Soleil fans all over the world, this week’s brand-new 60-minute special will take viewers down memory lane for a colorful and emotional journey into its inaugural year and early beginnings.

About Cirque Réinventé

Cirque Réinventé performed for the first time to an American audience at the Los Angeles Art Festival in 1987. It was a critical milestone for Cirque du Soleil. This show was the springboard for the company’s explosion on the international scene. Cirque Réinventé then went on to continue its North American tour after a brief appearance at the Calgary Winter Olympics.

About Nouvelle Expérience

Nouvelle Expérience premiered in 1990 and was the fourth creation of Cirque du Soleil and turned out to be its most popular show to date. It continued to run until 1993. Led by the company’s co-founder, Gilles Ste-Croix, the production tried out new ideas to further heighten the show experience. This is where the curtain that separates the artists from the audience was eliminated in order for both to feel part of a larger communal experience. This is also the first production to visit Las Vegas and the first time a Cirque du Soleil residency was discussed.

About Saltimbanco

In 1992, Cirque du Soleil added a monument to its repertoire of shows with Saltimbanco. This production became the company’s longest running production by the time it closed. Performed under the Big Top from 1992 to 2006 in its original form around the world, a new adaptation of the show, staged in arenas, started touring in 2007. Saltimbanco‘s last performance took place in Montreal on December 30, 2012 after 6,000 Big Top and arena appearances, wowing 14 million spectators in 200 cities worldwide.

Fans are invited to tune in this Friday June 12th at 12 p.m. PST / 3p.m. ET to learn more about Cirque du Soleil and its history in a brand new way on the CirqueConnect content hub at cirquedusoleil.com/cirqueconnect.

The special will remain available on the CirqueConnect content hub for those who can’t watch on Friday. CirqueConnect provides at-home entertainment to fans and families worldwide.

NFL Superstar and Entertainer Terry Bradshaw Set to
Release Original Song, “Quarantine Crazy”

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Super Bowl champion and FOX NFL analyst, Terry Bradshaw, along with Sony Music Entertainment, will debut a new single, “Quarantine Crazy,” at midnight EST/9 p.m. PST on Thursday, April 23.

The football star and iconic entertainer has channeled his musical talents into the song, which will be available on iTunes, Spotify, Pandora and other outlets. Co-written by country singer Jimmy Yeary, “Quarantine Crazy” playfully chronicles the plight of the current “safer-at-home” quarantine mandates.

“After weeks of staying home and social distancing, I think we can all relate to feeling a bit ‘Quarantine Crazy’,” said Bradshaw. “However, it is more important than ever to remain home and stay safe. We will all get on the other side of this soon, but in the meantime, I hope this song brings a smile to your faces.”

A portion of the proceeds received from the sale of the song will support local food banks in Oklahoma and Texas.

Bradshaw, who has a long history in music and entertainment, was signed to a 31-show residency with “The Terry Bradshaw Show” at Luxor Hotel and Casino for 2020. New dates for his Las Vegas show have not yet been announced. His first foray into music, a cover of Hank William’s classic “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry,” landed him on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1976. He also hit the charts with his follow up single, “The Last Word in Lonesome is Me.” Bradshaw has released two albums in his career, toured with gospel artists, The Isaacs, and participated in FOX’s singing competition, “The Masked Singer.”

TERRY BRADSHAW
The only NFL player with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Terry Bradshaw continues to entertain fans far and beyond his legendary professional football career with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The four-time Super Bowl champion quarterback, two-time Super Bowl MVP and Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee joined FOX NFL Sunday as co-host and analyst with the show’s inception in 1994. In addition to his long-term role as a multi-Emmy and award-winning broadcaster, Bradshaw has starred in movie and television hits including the box office smash comedy romance, “Failure to Launch,” “Father Figures,” “Better Late than Never,” and “The Masked Singer.” Bradshaw is also a gospel and country singer, motivational speaker, New York Times best-selling author and breeder of championship quarter horses.

CBS and the Academy of Country Music® today announced that reigning ACM® Entertainer of the Year and 15-time ACM Award®-winner Keith Urban will host the 55TH ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS™, Country Music’s Party of the Year®, honoring the biggest names and emerging talent in the Country Music industry. This will be Urban’s first time hosting the ACM Awards.

“As if having a new song out today wasn’t enough, I also get to host the ACM Awards in April,” said Urban. “I’ll tell you – this year already feels like the most creative and energized year of my life… and there’s so much more to come. Incredibly grateful – and ready to roll!”

“We are thrilled to have our reigning Entertainer of the Year as the centerpiece of our 55th ACM Awards ceremony. Keith epitomizes greatness in our industry, is beloved by fans and fellow artists, and I can’t think of a better representative to be the face of our Awards show and to help usher in a new era at the Academy,” said Damon Whiteside, CEO of the Academy of Country Music.

“Keith Urban is the perfect choice to host the Academy of Country Music Awards,” said Jack Sussman, Executive Vice President, Specials, Music & Live Events, CBS. “He’s an incredible musician, a respected and revered member of the Country Music community and the music community worldwide, and our viewers love him. While 2020 shapes up to be a big year for Urban, it follows one that saw him take home both the ACM and CMA Awards for Entertainer of the Year. He officially wrapped a nearly two-year stretch that began with the #1 simultaneous debut (U.S., Canada and Australia) of his ninth studio album, Graffiti U, and concluded his critically acclaimed “GRAFFITI U WORLD TOUR,” which played to more than one million fans in seven countries on three continents.

Graffiti U followed 2016’s Ripcord, which featured five #1 hits, including “Blue Ain’t Your Color,” which won Best Single at the 2017 CMA Awards and Favorite Country Song at the American Music Awards, where he also collected trophies for Favorite Country Album and Favorite Male Country Artist.

Urban has twice had an album simultaneously atop the all-genre charts in the U.S., Canada and Australia and is the only male Country artist to have achieved the mark.  He now stands at #8 on Billboard’s All-Time Country Airplay Chart as the artist with the most consecutive top 10 songs on Billboard’s Country Airplay Chart (38) – a streak that started in August of 2000. Urban has won four Grammy Awards, 15 Academy of Country Music Awards, 13 Country Music Association Awards, four People’s Choice Awards and four American Music Awards. Also, he is a member of the Grand Ole Opry.

The 55th ACM Awards will feature exciting performances, unprecedented collaborations, surprising moments and more to be announced in the coming weeks. Tickets for the 55th ACM Awards are available for purchase now at ACMawards.com.

About Paradise Ranch Foundation:

Paradise Ranch Foundation was founded in 2011 with the mission to provide mental health services to families in need. They provide Horse Assisted Therapy (HAT) and Interactive Behavioral Therapy to all with a focus on children with autism and our veterans with Traumatic Brain injuries and  PTSD. It is well known, and research has proven that interactions with animals reduce stress, lower heart rates, and have an overall positive effect on mental health and emotional states. When we include a horse in our therapeutic sessions, they become a participating member of the therapy process. The horse is able to “tune in” to emotional states and recognize when the way you feel should be reinforced or reduced and the horse reacts accordingly.   HAT is beneficial for many health disorders from depression, anxiety, OCD, suicidal thoughts or other behavioral problems.  https://paradiseranchlv.com/paradise-ranch-foundation
