Shane Owens’ Latest Single “Everybody Dies But Not Everybody Lives” Is Available on All Streaming Services

Single Brings Optimism to Fans During Uncertain Times

“‘Everybody Dies’ certainly hit home with me. It reminds us to add life to our living – to create and cherish special moments daily, with those we love, wherever we are. Shane kindly reminds you to live without regret so when the distant shore is near, it is well with your soul. As always, he sets the mood and speaks to the heart through his music, making you laugh or cry… and think. His traditional country music approach remains a favorite of mine – thanks for keeping it alive and well, Shane! Great job on this one.”
– Randy Travis

“With recently losing a close family friend, Shane Owens connects with my heart personally. In the song, Shane mentioned that “life is just a moment” and that isn’t anything but the truth. Sometimes you can lose someone so unexpected, however, at the end of the day, everybody dies at some point. With the traditional country sound that Shane brings to the table, this song is a highly relatable song for anyone going through losing a  member or close friend.”
– Trevor Justin, Country Sway

Alabama-bred, neo-traditional country singer, Shane Owens releases his latest single, “Everybody Dies But Not Everybody Lives” from his current album ‘Thankful For Country Music.’ This single proclaims exactly what the title states. Dying is irrelevant, but living to the fullest each day is a choice. Reminding all of the brevity of life, this single stands to lift those carrying the weight of tomorrow’s uncertainty, allowing them to drop tensions to see that living for the day and releasing that which is out of our control is the only option. The single places itself at the forefront of optimism, at a time where listeners all over the world can relate and find comfort in the message. “Everybody Dies But Not Everybody Lives” was the #1 most added song to country radio for Music Row and has moved up thirteen spots.

“When we picked, “Everybody Dies But Not Everybody Lives” for the album, it really spoke to me. I never dreamed how much it would hit home in 2020. This has been a tough time for everyone and the events of the year have made me sit back and reflect on things,” shares Shane.

The genuine nature of Owens sets this single in motion as listers can feel his authentic desire to inspire within each line of the song. Sometimes, an artist deals a sweet hand and the perfect song comes along that ties humanity together to bring about change. Though some deal with uncertainty better than others, everyone is affected by the inability to predict time which is seemingly more prevalent during the COVID-19 pandemic. “Everybody Dies But Not Everybody Lives” highlights that there is no better time than the present moment to live.

“One thing is for sure,” says Owens, “Life can change in a split second. Every day is a gift and sometimes we need to take a minute and remember to make the most of what we can, take the time to enjoy our family and friends, do what we love to do, and truly LIVE. I hope this song helps us all to do just that.”

About Shane Owens:
Named by Rolling Stone Country as one of the “10 New Country Artists You Need To Know,” and awarded 2018 Music Row Independent Artist of the Year, Shane Owens has been building a strong following for more than a decade. His powerful vocal range combined with the emotional lyrical content of his songs has made him a favorite of fans, critics, and fellow artists alike. After starting his career opening shows for dozens of major stars, the baritone performer attracted the attention of Nashville music executives, and he soon landed a record deal. However, with all the changes in the music industry at the time, his album was shelved and never released. Just like the ‘Never Give Up’ mantra of his lyrics, Owens picked himself up and moved on, thanks to famed producer James Stroud (Tim McGraw, Aaron Lewis, Clint Black), country music legend Randy Travis, who co-executive produced his first album, Where I’m Comin’ From, and Amerimonte Records. Never one to sit still for long, Owens followed up with his most recent release It’s A Southern Thing, and is currently impacting at radio with his latest single “Everybody Dies But Not Everybody Lives” from his latest album, Thankful For Country Music. Billy Bob’s: Lending a Hand to Music History

Artists placing their hands in cement has been a tradition at Billy Bob’s for more than two decades.

Many of the club’s showcased artists have been honored with various awards and accolades. For some, however, their favorite honor is being part of what is now known as Billy Bob’s ‘Wall of Fame’.

Patrons can visit the Wall of Fame and see the handprints and autographs of Garth Brooks, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, and even Ringo Starr to name a few. Many fans enjoy comparing their hand size to the celebrities.

About Billy Bob’s Texas:
Located in the heart of the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District, the 100,000 square foot cattle barn became Billy Bob’s Texas in 1981. Since then more than 17 million visitors have enjoyed live entertainment and real bull riding at “The World’s Largest Honky Tonk”.

The facility can hold 6,000 rowdy patrons on a given night and has been host to hundreds of musical acts, from Alan Jackson to ZZ Top. On Fridays and Saturdays, the venue also features live bull riding – a step up from the mechanical variety. It seems like an unlikely source for a series that has sold millions of albums.

Billy Bob’s has been named the Country Music Club of the Year 10 times by the Academy of Country Music.

“You know, it was so good to get back into the role of a country music singer again,” said Carson. “While walking around inside the Willie Nelson museum, looking at all of the artist memorabilia from past and present, it made me feel both small, and proud, to have had made a living doing something I absolutely loved, playing music.”

Carson recently re-released his 2003 hit, “God Save The World.” This single is more relevant now than ever, igniting hope for the future in a world longing for change. Carson has always sought out a life of giving, whether it be through a song or serving his local community as a police officer in Franklin, Tennessee. “God Save The World” is a mere reflection of Carson’s compassionate nature towards being a vessel of solitude in times of conflict and confusion. About Jeff Carson:
Jeff Carson has come full circle with careers that have allowed him to do the two things that he loves – music and police work. While singing demos on songs that turned into hits for Tracy Byrd (“Walkin’ To Jerusalem”), Tracy Lawrence (“I See it Now”), Reba McEntire (“The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter”), and Tim McGraw (“I Wouldn’t Want It Any Other Way”), Faith Hill (“It Matters To Me”).” Singing demos turned into a lucky decision for Carson when he met record producer and publisher Chuck Howard, who cut three or four songs on him that were good enough to pitch to labels. Howard was instrumental in getting him his label deal at Curb Records, and soon a single, “Yeah Buddy,” released to radio. This was his first charting single and was followed up with ‘Not On Your Love,’ which went number one. The following single, ‘The Car,’ became a top-five hit, topping out at number two. Carson had several other singles, including “Real Life (Was Never The Same Again)” from his album “Real Life.” An album release party was planned for “Real Life” on September 11, 2001. That morning terrorists hijacked two planes to attack the Twin Towers in New York City and one that attacked the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. A fourth plane was hijacked from the terrorists and crashed in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. The song made it into the Top 20 but it all changed when Carson decided to switch from music to law enforcement.

“I can’t believe it’s been 30 years since the release of the ‘X’ album,” shares Farriss. “As INXS, we knew we had to have the right songs to follow up on the massive success of our previous album ‘KICK’. I love the energy of the ‘X’ album. My favorite songs are still “Suicide Blonde,” “Disappear,” “Bitter Tears,” “Who Pays The Price,” and “Hear That Sound,” plus having blues music legend Charlie Musselwhite playing on the ‘X’ album with us was awesome!”

Patriot Artists Agency Presents ‘Ladies of the ’80s’ A Live, Socially-Distanced Concert Event At The Governors Club In Brentwood, Tennessee

Patriot Artists Agency Presents ‘Ladies of the ’80s’ A Live Socially-Distanced Concert Event At The Governors Club In Brentwood, Tennessee

Stephen Brush, PAA Founder, Brings Back Exclusive Concert Experience While Following Social Distancing Guidelines

Redefining the ideals of a world affected by COVID-19, Patriot Artists Agency took a leap of faith in the right direction to bring fans in Middle Tennessee to Ladies of the ’80s,’ a live socially-distanced concert event held on the beautiful estate of the Governor’s Club in Brentwood, Tennessee, Friday, September 18th.

The show featured ’80s powerhouse headliner Taylor Dayne, delivering her smash hits “Tell It To My Heart,” “Love Will Lead You Back”, and “Prove Your Love.” Tiffany and Lisa Lisa transported fans back to tubular times in true social distancing style with “I Think We’re Alone Now,” “Head To Toe,” “Lost In Emotion,” and “Let The Beat Hit ‘Em.” The night was emceed by a DJ who weaved other throwback favorites into the mix between sets and on into the night.

Under the light of the stars and tucked in between rolling hills, the stage was set with temperature check stations and food trucks lining the venue. VIP pods lined the hills with safe distance and passageways between each row. Each entertainer performed their hit singles as fans sang along under face masks and grooved to the beat of the night in their designated areas, separated 8 feet apart.

“I decided it was time to create and adapt and get on with living! I want artists, crew, and of course, my colleagues working again,” shares Patriot Artists Agency Owner, Stephen Brush. Ladies of the ’80s has offered that feel-good social distanced experience that brings people to a happy place safely. Based on this proof of concept being so successful, we are looking to produce 15-20 of these driving range concerts throughout the US for the remainder of the year and then look to produce 50-75 of them next year.”

“When Stephen approached me about the event, I saw an opportunity to demonstrate that live events can return in a safe manner,” said production manager Mark Kocourek. “We were able to implement the CDC guidelines and Event Safety Alliance best practices. We brought in a COVID Compliance Officer to oversee the implementation of temp checks, mandatory masks, and social distancing.  Our detailed plan allowed the audience to safely enjoy a high-quality performance for the first time since March. It was a pleasure to have a great event and prove that our industry can evolve during these trying times.”

This blast from the past experience, masterfully presented by Patriot Artists Agency, stands as a light at the end of the tunnel for the music and entertainment industry. ‘Ladies of the 80s,’ allowed fans to relive simpler times and was designed with strict but easily adhered safety precautions, making future events possible in a similar fashion. As a key industry provider, Patriot Artists Agency continues to present live entertainment as it used to be, bringing fans one stellar show at a time.

The next ‘Ladies Of The ’80s’ event is set for Houston, Texas on November 14, 2020.

Frizzell Recently Celebrated 40th Anniversary Of “You’re The Reason God Made Oklahoma”

CMA and ACM award-winning and Grammy-nominated hitmaker, David Frizzell will be hosting Country Classics during the weeks of September 14 and September 21, presented by Springer Mountain Farms Chicken, Cracker Barrel and filmed at The Willie Nelson Museum in Nashville. Frizzell shares some of his favorite videos and Country Classics can be seen on Circle TV, The Family Channel, Heartland, Country TV, and more Wednesday, September 16 on Heartland and again throughout the week. Check your local listings for details.

“It was so much fun hosting Country Classics and being able to share some wonderful videos with everyone watching,” says Frizzell. “Country Classics has fans all over the world and I am excited to be able to visit with each of them over the next two weeks.”

Frizzell is currently celebrating the 40th anniversary of “You’re The Reason God Made Oklahoma,” a duet with Shelly West which was released in 1980 and reached number one in 1981. Although turned down by countless labels, it was featured in Clint Eastwood’s film “Any Which Way You Can,” providing the boost needed to be heard. Once released, it shot to number one and secured a contract for the duo with Warner Brother Records. The duet was even ranked in CMT’s 100 Greatest Duets in country music, reaching number six.

David Frizzell is one of the greatest voices in country music with a haunting resemblance to his older brother, the ultimate stylist, Country Music Hall of Fame member Lefty Frizzell. Both share that raw, forlorn quality that is essential to the interpretation of traditional country themes. Even during the duet years with Shelly West, David Frizzell continued his solo career as well with “I’m Gonna Hire A Wino To Decorate Our Home.” As the producer of the popular Frizzell & Friends series of projects, David brings together some of the top performers in the business for both live and recorded projects such as Crystal Gayle, T. Graham Brown, Johnny Lee, Lacy J. Dalton, and more.

About David Frizzell:
David Frizzell was born in El Dorado, Arkansas, in 1941. He began touring with his legendary brother, Lefty Frizzell at the age of 12 throughout the 1950s and 60s. After serving in the Air Force, Frizzell signed with Columbia Records in 1970 and charted his first Billboard single with “L.A. International Airport” and then a Top 40 with “I Just Can’t Help Believing.”

During the 1970s, Frizzell appeared regularly on Buck Owens’ All American TV Show and began recording for Capitol Records. In 1981, he recorded his first number-one country hit, “You’re the Reason God Made Oklahoma,” a duet with Shelly West. The song won the Country Music Association’s Song of the Year and Vocal Duet of the Year awards in 1981, was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal, and was featured in Clint Eastwood’s film ‘Any Which Way You Can.’ Frizzell and West also won the Academy of Country Music award for Vocal Duo of the Year in 1981 and 1982.

In 1982, Frizzell released “I’m Gonna Hire A Wino To Decorate Our Home,” which made its way to number one.

In recent years, Frizzell created his own label Nashville America Records, and has released several albums including Frizzell & Friends: This Is Our Time which includes a bonus track, written in honor of Lefty Frizzell, Merle Haggard, and traditional music in general. “Lefty, Merle & Me” features David with Marty Haggard.

David Frizzell is a timeless and tireless entertainer who continues to share his many gifts to the delight of fans old and new across the US and throughout the world.
