Lynn Anderson’s Classic Albums ‘Cry’ and ‘Listen To A Country Song’ Re-Released To All Digital Providers

Legacy Recordings Re-Releases Lynn Anderson’s Classic Albums ‘Cry’ and ‘Listen To A Country Song’ To All Digital Providers

Through Legacy Recordings (the catalog division of Sony Entertainment)

Nashville, Tenn. – For the first time since her passing in 2015, Lynn Anderson fans now have access to two of her iconic albums that have just been re-released to all digital platforms through Legacy Recordings. Anderson’s digitally remastered album ‘Cry,’ was released on March 6th and ‘Listen To A Country Song‘ will be released on March 20. The fan-favorite ‘Top Of The World‘ has been confirmed for release, with a street date still to be determined.

Ranked among the most admired and trailblazing entertainers in America throughout her six-decade career, Lynn Anderson’s sparkling vocals brought a new level of sophistication and glamour to country music. Her groundbreaking pop-country sound helped her become one of the first female country artists to achieve mass crossover appeal. Many firsts were achieved throughout Anderson’s career; some of which broke social barriers. Anderson was the first female country singer to perform on The Tonight Show, first to headline and sell out Madison Square Garden and the first female to win an American Music Award. Lynn repeatedly delivered chart topping songs, such as “(I Never Promised You A) Rose Garden,” and was named Billboard’s Artist of the Decade for the 70s. Too timeless to be forgotten, events and celebrations are in the works to honor the classic hits and sweet southern personality that Anderson engraved in hearts across the world.

“Lynn Anderson was an icon to millions around the world, but to me she was mom,” says daughter, Lisa Sutton. “It is so exciting to have two of her classic albums re-released through Sony Legacy during a time when we need it the most. Until now, they were only available on vinyl. This is a wonderful way for old fans and new ones to come together through music. Just stay tuned, because this is only the beginning!”

03. Ask Any Woman

05. I Won’t Mention It Again
06. Tonight My Baby’s Coming Home

About Lynn Anderson:
Lynn Anderson’s six-decade career charted 12 #1 singles and a total of 18 Top 10 hits, with more than 50 Top 40 hit singles total. Aside from being named “Female Vocalist of the Year” by the Academy of Country Music twice and “Female Vocalist of the Year” by the Country Music Association, she also won a Grammy Award for her signature song “Rose Garden.” Anderson later won a People’s Choice Award, and was the very first female artist to win an American Music Award. In 1974, she became the first female country act to sell out Madison Square Garden. Record World, a major music trade magazine of the 1950s to the 1980s, honored Anderson as ‘Artist of the Decade’ for 1970-1980. Lynn Anderson died at age 67 on July 30, 2015, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Anderson’s memory continues to live on through her legions of fans from around the world.

Paige King Johnson Reaches #29 with “Water Down The Whiskey” On Music Row Chart

Paige King Johnson Reaches #29 with “Water Down The Whiskey” On Music Row Chart

Johnson will perform at the 4th Annual Music For Wishes, benefiting Make-A-Wish Foundation this fall

Nashville-based singer / songwriter Paige King Johnson just hit her first milestone enroute to stardom with the announcement that her debut single “Water Down The Whiskey” reached #29 on the Music Row Chart. The song is the North Carolina native’s reflective tribute to her classic country roots, mixed with her own modern edge to songwriting and the art of storytelling. After releasing the music video, which premiered with Center Stage Magazine, Paige has continued to gain momentum across the country leaving fans thirsting to hear more of “Water Down The Whiskey.”

“When I released this song, I had high hopes of it connecting with people,” says Johnson. “It was my first release to country radio and I never expected such great support from so many people. To meet folks from all over the United States who are requesting “Water Down The Whiskey” on their local radio stations absolutely blows my mind!”

Johnson recently performed live on Today In Nashville and at The Local in Nashville during a groundbreaking live showcase during the 2020 Country Radio Seminar (CRS). Along with maintaining a busy touring schedule, Paige will be hosting her first annual, Country Yard Party in Angier, North Carolina on May 16. She will also be appearing at the 4th Annual Music For Wishes concert in Somerset, Kentucky later this fall benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

The recent Belmont University graduate is ready to spread her wings and chart new territory with grit and honesty. Her new single channels the sensitivity of Kacey Musgraves while dishing out the unapologetic nerve of Miranda Lambert. Johnson’s confident ownership of her craft is a direct result of the compelling female staples she grew up on—females who have at times strayed from the mainstream path to boldly carve their own. With a heartfelt conviction to write genuine songs she can be proud of for years to come, Johnson is ready to go down any path that calls her name – as long as she can walk it in her favorite pair of boots.

About Paige King Johnson:
Born in a quiet North Carolina town just 22 miles south of Raleigh, as a young 9-year-old girl, Paige King Johnson spent her summers under the crepe myrtles imitating the styles of Loretta, Patsy, Waylon, and Merle. Having a grandpa as her biggest fan also meant receiving the gift of her first guitar – a baby Taylor – and enrolling in lessons. After her grandpa passed, the bright-eyed dreamer carried on his memory by taking her newfound discovery to local fairs, festivals, and any other stage she was allowed to stand on. As she grew older, Johnson added “opening act” to her resume, supporting chart topping artists like Scotty McCreery, Neal McCoy, Luke Pell, and James Otto. And with high school graduation came the realization that this was more than a hobby. The Angier native traded in horse pastures and back roads for the bright lights of Music City in 2015. Upon starting school at Belmont University for Music Business, Johnson honed in on the magic that had heavily influenced her as a child: the art of storytelling through songwriting.

The famous Bluebird Café was just one of many writers’ circuits around Nashville that provided a safe space for Johnson to meet other writers, try out new tunes, and get feedback. In return, Johnson began captivating audiences with her down-home stage presence, cut straight to the bone stories and raw country voice, reminiscent of the classic country era. In the last four years, Johnson has traveled back and forth between Nashville and the Carolinas, playing shows like the North Carolina State Fair and running her dinner theater, Country on the Outskirts of Town, that she founded in high school. Johnson’s quarterly show provides an atmosphere for locals to enjoy Southern cooking, fellowship with friends, and the sounds of classic and current country music with some gospel thrown in. A three-time Carolina Music Awards Nominee for Best Country Female Artist, Johnson’s devoted homegrown fan base continues to expand farther than just her backyard.

During a time of national uncertainty, GRAMMY® Award-winning country music group Shenandoah is looking to brighten spirits with a special Facebook Live performance event that will bring music to the masses. Today the legendary country band announced “Keep the Music Playing,” a free live-streamed concert set for tonight, Wednesday, March 18, at 8/7c. Amid concert postponements nationwide, the event will provide a unique opportunity for fans to enjoy live performances from the comfort of their living rooms.

Shenandoah has enlisted Michael Ray, Aaron Tippin, T. Graham Brown, Austin Merrill, and Katie Austin to join them during the live web broadcast. The event, sponsored by Foundry Records and hosted by Inside Edition’s Megan Alexander, will take place at Nashville’s SIR Rehearsal Studios with no live audience and minimal staff.

“The main mission here is to hopefully, with music as only music can, bring some sunshine to the gloom,” says Shenandoah frontman Marty Raybon. “We’ll be taking all of the recommended precautions to ensure everyone’s safety.”

Tobi Lee Announces Release Of Album ‘Money Talk$’ Available March 20th

Release party at the Nashville Palace Tuesday, March 24th at 7pm

Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Tobi Lee, is releasing her latest solo album titled Money Talk$ Friday, March 20th. As part of the celebration, Tobi Lee will be having a release party at the Nashville Palace Tuesday, March 24th at 7pm. From her rockin’ style to her “out of this world” personality, Lee has reinvented the way we hear country music with this new release. Not only did Lee produce ‘Money Talk$,’ but she also wrote and co-wrote every song included on the album.

Lee’s collaborations are infinite and renowned. She co-wrote with Grammy Award winning songwriter Frank J. Meyers who has written songs for legends such as John Michael MontgomeryLonestar and Reba McEntire; and writer Elizabeth McDavid Elkins, who has written for country star, Billy Currington. These are just a few of the greats that Lee has joined forces with to create the songs you will hear on this new album.

“I wanted to cut something that didn’t settle into a certain mold of what was expected,” says Tobi Lee. “I wanted versatility with different sounds and styles. In every way, I wanted this album to be a little bit of EVERYTHING from country, rock and even some blues.” “Money Talk$” has been a passion of love since the beginning and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it!”

With more than 120 shows confirmed this year, Tobi Lee and her band, MSB will bring to the stage a high energy performance that will leave crowds craving more.

“I love to perform on stage whether it is in front of 50,000 people at the Havelock Country Jamboree in Ontario, Canada or in front of 50 people at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville,” explains Lee. “I like to make the audience feel as if they are sitting in my living room and we’re just jammin’ and taking a break from life for a little bit.”

Growing up in Indiana, Tobi Lee was born to be an entertainer. She performed in local theater with nearly 300 total performances. While hosting her own local television show, she formed her first band, “The Country Sunshine Band.” As part of a special recording project, Tobi Lee joined Gloria Gaither and The Bill Gaither Trio on the single “I’m Somebody.” which can be heard on the album “L.I.F.E.” She has opened for Lorrie Morgan, Tanya Tucker, Old Dominion, Toby Keith, Martina McBride, Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, .38 Special, Lynyrd Skynyrd and more.

“It’s so exciting to be playing in the town that I call home,” expresses Tobi. This will be a high energy show and there’s a good chance I’ll play just about every instrument on the stage. I hope to see everyone at the Nashville Palace! We are going to rock the house.” “Not only will you hear songs from “Money Talk$,” but also “Jiggle It A Little” that I wrote with Sandy Ramos (Dixie ChicksFaith Hill) and “Tell It To Me Sober” that I wrote with Chet Roberts from 3 Doors Down.

Special guests include opening act Dylan Davidson along with country singer Shelly Farichild and backup singers Shandra Penix and Wendy Moten who have performed with Martina McBride, Vince Gill, Amy Grant and more.

With a soul stirring soft rock aura, this release will dazzle the airwaves and captivate the hearts of many. Its catchy and well written elements help listeners to find comfort in the lyrics and relate to MacDuffie’s enchanting message.

“Communicating in dream-time, across time and space, is one of the wondrous things music does, and this can be experienced personally as well, it’s just energy,” says MacDuffie. “We know from our quantum physics that we’re made up entirely of energy, the same energy that drives this song.”

“I See You In My Dream” is the second single off of MacDuffie’s forthcoming EP I’m The One, which will be released April 24. With a fresh new outlook on music, Carrington has taken a bold step to remain unique in her musical style by mixing several genres into one unified sound. About Carrington MacDuffie:
In life and in art, Carrington MacDuffie is an adventurer. A New York native who now splits her time between Austin and Seattle – after a decade beachside in Los Angeles – she travels the globe and joyfully explores diverse universes of thought and practice. Whether making music, writing poetry, voicing works of literature, piloting a fixed-wing airplane, or savoring the Zen-like concentration of target shooting, she is led by her passion for creativity, and her endless fascination with exploring both the world outside and her inner muses.

As a singer-songwriter, Carrington first released work in 2014. Her love for music was sparked in early childhood while listening to the records that her dad, a huge music aficionado, was spinning — Teddy Wilson, Beethoven, Herb Alpert, Hudson River folk, Scottish marches, Bob Dylan, classic rock, and the Beatles, among many other artists and genres. Those far-reaching influences weave through her entire body of work, and stand out in her newest singles and her most recent LP Kiss Make Better.

Country music superstar Chase Rice to perform at Sunset Amphitheater

Country music superstar Chase Rice to perform at Sunset Amphitheater

Friday, May 29, 2020. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Tickets on sale – Friday, March 13, 2020 at 10 a.m.

Country music superstar Chase Rice is returning to Las Vegas for a performance at the Sunset Amphitheater at Sunset Station on Friday, May 29, 2020, alongside special guest Cassadee Pope. Tickets start at $27.50 plus applicable fees and go on sale Friday, March 13, 2020 at 10 a.m.

With over 1.6 million albums sold and more than 1.1 billion total streams, plus a legion of passionate fans at his high-energy concerts across the globe, Chase Rice has established himself as a powerful force in Nashville and beyond – but he genuinely sees new release The Album Part I as the launching pad for music that says what he wants to say, how he wants to say it. With songs such as lead single “Lonely If You Are” featuring sleek rhymes over heartland six strings and keys mixed with EDM-laced drama, The Album Part I is the same gravely-voiced Chase Rice fans first fell in love with years ago – but better. Freer. Unbeholden and uninhibited, somehow capable of evoking Chris LeDoux and The Chronic, campfire singalongs and stadium anthems, all at once. The project follows his sophomore album, Lambs & Lions, released with Broken Bow Records in 2017 and featuring two-week chart-topper “Eyes On You” – Rice’s first No. 1 as an artist and the most-streamed song of his career with nearly 350 million streams and counting. Lambs & Lions followed Ignite the Night, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums and No. 3 on the all-genre chart, producing a pair of Top 5 hits; “Ready Set Roll” and “Gonna Wanna Tonight.” After supporting Kenny Chesney’s The Big Revival stadium tour, Rice has consistently sold out 2,500-3,000 seat venues on his own headlining tours, plus served as direct support on the Luke Bryan Farm Tour 2018. His current headlining The Pint of Anything Tour takes Rice across Europe before he hits the road with Brantley Gilbert in 2020.

Cassadee Pope is a Grammy-nominated, Platinum-certified singer-songwriter who has recently released her highly-anticipated second solo album STAGES, featuring hit singles “Take You Home,” “One More Red Light,” and “If My Heart Had A Heart.” From fronting rock band Hey Monday to winning season 3 of The Voice and releasing her #1 debut album Frame By Frame, Cassadee has effortlessly re-arranged the lines of country and pop. She has experienced tremendous success throughout her career, with her Platinum-selling single “Wasting All These Tears” being named “Breakthrough Video of the Year” at the 2014 CMT Music Awards and her #1 hit “Think of You” with Chris Young receiving a 2017 Grammy nomination for “Best Country Duo/Group.” Cassadee has toured extensively, joining legendary artists Tim McGraw and Dierks Bentley, playing London’s iconic O2 Arena during C2C: Country to Country Festival, and earning the distinction of the only country artist to perform at 2018’s Warped Tour.

Tickets for the Chase Rice and special guest Cassadee Pope are $27.50, $32.50, $37.50, $47.50 and $57.50, $58.50 and $71.50 plus applicable fees. All tickets go on sale Friday, March 13, 2020 at 10 a.m. Guests under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult 21 years or older. Tickets can be purchased at any Station Casinos Reward Center and The Fiestas, by logging onto www.stationcasinoslive.com or through Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000 or www.ticketmaster.com.
