Danzig’s Latest Album DANZIG Sings ELVIS Available Today

Available In A Special Digipak for CD And On Vinyl In A Deluxe Gatefold Jacket
“His take on “One Night” — Presley’s foot-stomping rockabilly barnburner, which made it up to Number Four in 1957 — retains all the lustful passion of the original with gently buzzing guitar and as much glorious slap-back reverb as Danzig could find” – Rolling Stone Magazine

“DANZIG has outdone himself on this one” – Shutter 16 Magazine

“The ‘Evil Elvis’ Glen Danzig was perhaps destined to pay direct tribute to one of his biggest influences” – Slant Magazine

After crediting Elvis Presley as one of his greatest influences, DANZIG has wrapped up this eagerly-awaited full-length album, which is also available on vinyl.

While recording this project, it was important for DANZIG to not only include some well-known Elvis recordings, but also some that were not hits, but influential nonetheless. With tracks such as “One Night,” First In Line,” “Like A Baby,” popular versions of “Fever” and a haunting rendition of “Always On My Mind,” there is no denying, DANZIG cut no corners when creating this iconic record.

The first single to be released was “One Night,” which stays true to its classic Elvis foundation while exhibiting a modern alternative polish unlike anything fans would expect to hear. The single was exclusively premiered by Rolling Stone on April 9, giving everyone a glimpse into what this anticipated album will be like.

Now that it is time to shine for DANZIG Sings ELVIS, his loyal fans are being transported back to simpler times as DANZIG pays tribute to The King of Rock & Roll, Elvis Presley.

The football star and iconic entertainer has channeled his musical talents into the song, which will be available on iTunes, Spotify, Pandora and other outlets. Co-written by country singer Jimmy Yeary, “Quarantine Crazy” playfully chronicles the plight of the current “safer-at-home” quarantine mandates.

“After weeks of staying home and social distancing, I think we can all relate to feeling a bit ‘Quarantine Crazy’,” said Bradshaw. “However, it is more important than ever to remain home and stay safe. We will all get on the other side of this soon, but in the meantime, I hope this song brings a smile to your faces.”

A portion of the proceeds received from the sale of the song will support local food banks in Oklahoma and Texas.

Bradshaw, who has a long history in music and entertainment, was signed to a 31-show residency with “The Terry Bradshaw Show” at Luxor Hotel and Casino for 2020. New dates for his Las Vegas show have not yet been announced. His first foray into music, a cover of Hank William’s classic “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry,” landed him on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1976. In addition to his long-term role as a multi-Emmy and award-winning broadcaster, Bradshaw has starred in movie and television hits including the box office smash comedy romance, “Failure to Launch,” “Father Figures,” “Better Late than Never,” and “The Masked Singer.” Bradshaw is also a gospel and country singer, motivational speaker, New York Times best-selling author and breeder of championship quarter horses.

VERSATILE MUSICIAN JUSTIN CARDER AVAILABLE FOR PRIVATE, LIVE-STREAMED CONCERTS

Concerts Perfect for Bringing People Together Online for Birthdays, Anniversaries, Graduations

 Las Vegas-based musician Justin Carder, a versatile singer and songwriter who typically performs more than 300 live gigs a year, now offers private virtual concerts via Facebook Live. Perfect for bringing people together to celebrate festive occasions of all kinds, concerts can be organized for invitation-only private Facebook groups. Carder performs the concerts from his living room, while audiences can comprise people from anywhere in the world.

“When I realized we would have to celebrate my wife Celena’s birthday under quarantine, I tried to think of a way to involve her friends and family in something special,” explained Chris Stacey, who organized a private Facebook Live concert with Carder. “Justin had performed a few virtual concerts for his own Facebook followers, so I asked if I could book him for a private birthday concert and he was game. The feedback we had from everyone who joined us that night was amazing—we had guests log on from as far away as Canada and Australia to make requests and say how much they enjoyed the concert. Most importantly, Celena loved it.”

During the concert, the virtual audience can use the Facebook Live comments section to make requests and interact with one another. Private live-streamed concerts typically entail a fee, which Carder is willing to negotiate based on his clients’ specific needs and circumstances. He also provides his CashApp and Venmo handles so anyone who wishes to tip him can do so.

“Music has a way of lifting people up and uniting them like nothing else—and we need to find ways to connect with one another now more than ever,” said Carder. “I’m just grateful to be able to do something that brings joy to people while circumstances keep them apart.”

Life is Beautiful Festival Will Not Take Place In 2020

LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL FESTIVAL WILL NOT TAKE PLACE IN 2020

Organization Moves to Address Community Needs Through New Initiatives in 2020; Festival to Return in 2021

Life is Beautiful, the three-day music, arts, culinary and comedy festival held each fall in Downtown Las Vegas, will forego its outdoor festival format in 2020 in order to put its resources towards supporting the Las Vegas community.

In an open letter to fans, Life is Beautiful stated: “We were more excited than ever to share the vision of this year’s festival with you. Instead, this moment has given us the opportunity to pause and assess what is truly important. It has given us the space to reflect and to grow, to refocus on our work, and to find new ways to give back to our community beyond the three days of the festival.”

The Life is Beautiful team said that several factors stemming from the COVID-19 crisis led to the decision.

“It’s clear the health and economic hardships from the COVID-19 crisis will impact us all for some time to come,” festival organizer Justin Weniger said. “In light of this, we made the determination to re-examine the role Life is Beautiful plays in the community and how we can put our resources, creativity and time into doing what we always set out to do: inspire and bring together a community.”

Driven by a collective passion for creating holistic experiences which aid in positive community transformation, Life is Beautiful is working to create new initiatives that will impact supporters on a local, national and global scale, in addition to making a full return with the festival in 2021.

“From the beginning, Life is Beautiful has been a year-round, aspirational mantra that materializes into a festival that unites visitors from around the world,” Weniger said. “For this year, that festival won’t happen but there has never been a more important time to remind us all that life is indeed beautiful. That is what we are going to do, in ways large and small.”

About Life is Beautiful

Life is Beautiful was born in 2013 as part of the major transformation of Downtown Las Vegas as a cultural hub and has since contributed over $350M of economic impact and cultural capital to the area. During the three-day festival, premier musical acts, experiential artists, comedians, thinkers and culinary talent flow into the urban streets of DTLV, in addition to the festival’s 175,000 attendees. What started as an event has become something more: a symbol of connection, joy and creativity. Life is Beautiful continues to be driven by its core mission to create a holistic experience which aids in positive community transformation and individual empowerment by collectivizing and inspiring through shared experiences driven by art and culture.

Danzig’s Latest Single “One Night” Premiered By Rolling Stone; DANZIG sings ELVIS Album To Be Released April 24

DANZIG’S Latest Single “One Night” Premiered By Rolling Stone

New Album ‘DANZIG sings ELVIS’ To Be Released On April 24

Available In A Special Digipak for CD And On Vinyl In A Deluxe Gatefold Jacket

-Anticipation for the DANZIG Sings ELVIS one-of-a-kind album release increases as the first single is finally in sight. Danzig’s version of “One Night” stays true to its classic Elvis foundation while exhibiting a modern alternative sheen unlike anything fans would expect to hear. The single was exclusively premiered by Rolling Stone on April 9.

Heavy metal icon and punk pioneer Danzig will be releasing DANZIG Sings ELVIS on April 24 with Cleopatra Records. After crediting Elvis Presley as one of his greatest influences, Danzig has wrapped up a full-length album that will also be available on vinyl. While recording this project, it was important to not only include some well-known Elvis recordings, but also some that were not hits, but influential nonetheless. With tracks such as “One Night,” “First In Line,” “Like A Baby,” a sinister take on “Fever” and a haunting rendition of “Always On My Mind,” it is evident that Danzig cut no corners when creating this iconic record.

Danzig will play more traditional hard rock shows with his famed self-titled band DANZIG this summer in Europe and will also headline the Psycho Las Vegas festival in August. Listeners of the album and show audiences will be on the edge of their seats before each new single begins, awaiting the perfect modern rock/classic hits blend. Be on the lookout for other, more intimate Exclusive DANZIG performances happening later this year in support of this DANZIG Sings ELVIS release!

More About Danzig:
Danzig is the founder of the bands Misfits, Samhain and Danzig. He owns the Evilive record label as well as Verotik, a Mature Readers comic book publishing company. As a singer, he is noted for his baritone voice and tenor vocal range; his style has been compared to those of Elvis Presley, Jim Morrison, and Howlin’ Wolf.

In a 2015 Rolling Stone interview, Danzig shared that Presley was among his chief musical influences.

“Elvis is actually kind of how I got into music,” Danzig said at the time. “When I was a kid, I was cutting school pretending I was sick and I would lie at home watching old movies, and Jailhouse Rock came on with Elvis. I was like, ‘I want to do this. This is great.’ And that’s how I veered to music.”

Along with releasing 11 albums and 28 singles, Danzig has written songs for legends such as Johnny Cash and Roy Orbison. Fans know that Danzig’s immeasurable talent and striking shows keep the crowds wanting more.

PGA TOUR announces schedule adjustments for remainder of 2019-20 FedExCup season, releases fall portion of 2020-21 PGA TOUR Regular Season schedule

PGA TOUR announces schedule adjustments for remainder of 2019-20 FedExCup season, releases fall portion of 2020-21 PGA TOUR Regular Season schedule
Korn Ferry Tour aims to restart in mid-June;
Mackenzie Tour – PGA TOUR Canada postpones first six events of its season

With additional time needed to ensure PGA TOUR tournaments are staged in the most safe and responsible manner possible given the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, the PGA TOUR is announcing further schedule modifications for the remainder of the 2019-20 season, as well as plans for the opening portion of the 2020-21 PGA TOUR Regular Season, the restart of the 2020 Korn Ferry Tour season and updates regarding the Mackenzie Tour – PGA TOUR Canada schedule.

“The health and safety of all associated with the PGA TOUR and our global community continues to be our No. 1 priority, and our hope is to play a role – responsibly – in the world’s return to enjoying the things we love,” said PGA TOUR Commissioner Jay Monahan. “Today’s announcement is another positive step for our fans and players as we look toward the future, but as we’ve stressed on several occasions, we will resume competition only when – working closely with our tournaments, partners and communities – it is considered safe to do so under the guidance of the leading public health authorities.”

The PGA TOUR had previously targeted the week of the Charles Schwab Challenge (May 18-24) as the restart of the TOUR season, which has been suspended since THE PLAYERS Championship was canceled on Thursday, March 12. For health and safety reasons due to COVID-19, today’s announcement delays that timeline three weeks – to June 8, starting with the Charles Schwab Challenge – with additional tournaments being repositioned between then and the season’s conclusion, which is the TOUR Championship, ending on Labor Day (September 7).

At this time, the TOUR plans to resume play with the first four events closed to the general public but will continue to monitor the situation and follow the recommendations of local and state authorities in order to determine the most appropriate on-site access in each market. As such, the TOUR will continually review available COVID-19-related protocols that could be implemented at PGA TOUR events to ensure the health and well-being for all involved.

All three events that were previously scheduled between May 18 and June 8 – the Charles Schwab Challenge, Rocket Mortgage Classic and the Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide – have been moved to later dates in the calendar.

The RBC Heritage, originally slated for this week (April 13-19) but canceled on March 17, has been added back to the PGA TOUR schedule in the week formerly occupied by the U.S. Open, which – as previously announced – has been postponed to September.

The RBC Canadian Open, originally scheduled for the week of June 8, has been canceled. Click here for a statement from the RBC Canadian Open. The Barbasol Championship, originally scheduled for July 13-19 opposite The Open Championship, has been canceled. The Open Championship was canceled on April 6.

Three invitationals on the updated schedule, the Charles Schwab Challenge (120 players), RBC Heritage (132 players) and the Memorial Tournament (120 players), will see their respective field sizes increase to 144 to provide additional playing opportunities for PGA TOUR members.

Summary of PGA TOUR events from 2019-20 schedule affected by date changes or cancellations:

  • RBC Canadian Open, originally scheduled for the week of June 8-14, has been canceled;
  • Charles Schwab Challenge, originally scheduled for May 18-24, rescheduled to June 8-14 (former RBC Canadian Open dates);
  • RBC Heritage, originally scheduled for April 13-19, rescheduled to June 15-21 (former U.S. Open dates);
  • Rocket Mortgage Classic, originally scheduled for May 25-31, rescheduled to July 2-5 (former World Golf Championships-FedEx St. Jude Invitational and Barracuda Championship dates);
  • the Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide, originally scheduled for June 1-7, rescheduled to July 13-19 (former The Open Championship/Barbasol Championship dates);
  • World Golf Championships-FedEx St. Jude Invitational and Barracuda Championship, originally scheduled for June 29-July 5, rescheduled to July 27-August 2 (former Olympic Games men’s golf competition dates);
  • Barbasol Championship, originally scheduled for July 13-19 opposite The Open Championship, has been canceled;
  • Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship, originally scheduled for March 23-29 and postponed on March 12, has been rescheduled as part of the 2020-21 PGA TOUR Regular Season schedule, September 21-27 (opposite the Ryder Cup);
  • The April 6 golf industry announcement outlined changes to the four major championships as well as the Wyndham Championship and the three FedExCup Playoffs

Revised 2019-20 PGA TOUR Season schedule:

  • June 8-14: Charles Schwab Challenge, Colonial Country Club, Fort Worth, Texas
  • June 15-21: RBC Heritage, Harbour Town Golf Links, Hilton Head, South Carolina
  • June 22-28: Travelers Championship, TPC River Highlands, Cromwell, Connecticut
  • July 2-July 5: Rocket Mortgage Classic, Detroit Golf Club, Detroit, Michigan
  • July 6-12: John Deere Classic, TPC Deere Run, Silvis, Illinois
  • July 13-19: the Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide, Muirfield Village Golf Club, Dublin, Ohio
  • July 20-26: 3M Open, TPC Twin Cities, Blaine, Minnesota
  • July 27-August 2: World Golf Championships-FedEx St. Jude Invitational, TPC Southwind, Memphis, Tennessee

  • August 24-30: BMW Championship, Olympia Fields Country Club (North), Olympia Fields, Illinois
  • August 31-September 7: TOUR Championship, East Lake Golf Club, Atlanta, Georgia

With 22 events having been played through the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard, the adjusted season-long schedule – subject to change – now consists of 36 events, including three FedExCup Playoffs events concluding with the TOUR Championship over Labor Day weekend, where the 2020 FedExCup Champion will be crowned.

With the health and safety of all associated with the PGA TOUR tournaments being of utmost importance, the TOUR will be working with its media partners on production plans upon the restart to the season. CBS is scheduled to televise the Charles Schwab Challenge through THE NORTHERN TRUST (11 consecutive events, inclusive of PGA Championship), and NBC is scheduled to televise the BMW Championship and TOUR Championship, culminating on Labor Day Monday.

2020-21 PGA TOUR Season:

Additionally, the TOUR today introduced the season-opening weeks of the 2020-21 PGA TOUR Season, which now has 13 FedExCup events, including – as announced on April 6 by the USGA and Augusta National Golf Club, respectively – the U.S. Open and Masters Tournament.

“This portion of our 2020-21 schedule is possible only because of the many partners who have worked tirelessly to grow their events and impact the lives of those in need in their respective communities, and our players, who have embraced the expanded fall schedule in recent years,” said PGA TOUR Chief Tournaments and Competitions Officer Andy Pazder. “We’d like to express our appreciation to the leadership of the Safeway Open, Houston Open and Mayakoba Golf Classic – which will conclude our calendar year schedule in Riviera Maya,

Mexico – for their flexibility, which allowed for the U.S. Open and Masters Tournament to be played in the fall. The accommodations will help the global golf community maximize the 2020 calendar, which will be incredibly impactful for our fans and put us in a strong position heading into 2021.”

2020-21 PGA TOUR Season Schedule (fall portion):

After 10 years, A Military Tribute at The Greenbrier will no longer be on the PGA TOUR’s schedule, as per a mutual agreement by The Greenbrier and the PGA TOUR.

“We are very grateful to Governor Jim Justice and his Greenbrier Resort for a highly successful 10 years of partnership with the PGA TOUR,” said Pazder. “Governor Justice’s vision and leadership helped shine a light on the men and women that serve our country through the military and first responder programs he implemented through the tournament, and The Greenbrier Resort was an incredibly unique and world-class venue that our players will always remember and cherish.”
