TIVOLI VILLAGE RESTAURANTS AND RETAILERS TRANSITION TO CURBSIDE AND DELIVERY SERVICES AMIDST CORONAVIRUS UNCERTAINTY

 

Tivoli Village, Las Vegas’ premier lifestyle and retail destination, is continuing to diligently monitor updates surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, restaurants and retailers are offering pick up or delivery services to accommodate Las Vegas residents during this difficult time.

 

As of today, the retail destination remains open for business. Available services and offerings are as follows:

 

Ada’s Las Vegas: Starting Wednesday, March 19, Ada’s Las Vegas will begin offering a limited dinner only menu, with the addition of curbside pickup. This includes “Make Your Own” kits for $20 complete with all ingredients to cook your own pasta at home, featuring three of the restaurant’s signature pastas. The Auto Spa: The automobile detailers are offering sterilization and sanitization services for the interior of your automobiles. With their negative ion generator, The Auto Spa has the capability of effectively eliminating vehicle pollutants to mitigate germs in your vehicle. Brio Tuscan Grille: The Italian eatery remains open with reduced hours, closing at 8 p.m., with a modified menu. For more information, call 702-433-1233.

D’Annata Boutique: The locally owned boutique is offering delivery services to locals, free of charge. The website will remain up-to-date on items in stock and they are also offering 30% off all clothing, 1803 candles are buy 6, save $6. Echo & Rig: The butcher and steakhouse will remain open during this time and is also offering call-in pick up services in addition to curbside delivery. Their butcher shop hours are from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, with dine in, take out and curbside options available from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday-Friday. Brunch is still being served on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Echo & Rig plans to close each day at 4 p.m. for a deep cleaning of the restaurant, and will re-open again for dinner from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The restaurant has reduced their seating by half to best achieve social distancing. Pressed Juicery: The farm-to-bottle juicery is available on Grubhub, Uber Eats, and Postmates, as well as offering in-store pick up. The establishment has also implemented precautions such as temporarily suspending sampling to limit the number of open food and beverage items in their stores. Monetary Donations and New or Gently Used Books Will Be Collected for Spread the Word Nevada

Queen Bee Market, the popular urban-style handmade market, has partnered with Spread the Word Nevada to host a fundraising drive at the annual shopping event held at The Conference Center of Las Vegas on Saturday, March 7 and Sunday, March 8.

 

Spread the Word Nevada is a children’s literacy organization dedicated to advancing early childhood literacy by giving books to Nevada’s at-risk and low-income communities. Since 2001, Spread the Word Nevada has given more than 5.5 million gently used and new books to more than 575,200 low-income youth in the state. Programs include ‘Kids to Kids,’ an initiative to help children build in-home libraries; “Breakfast with Books,” an initiative to increase the awareness and importance of reading as a family activity; “Books & Buddies,” a multi-generational reading program that partners at-risk youth with a mentor; and “Books on Break,” a summer program that works with organizations such as Three Square and Boys & Girls Club to bring story time to children during summer vacation.

 

Spread the Word Nevada will have a booth at Queen Bee Market, where representatives will collect new and gently used books. Shoppers who donate three or more books will receive $1 off their general admission ticket. Attendees can also make monetary donations at the booth.

 

Queen Bee Market, described as “Etsy comes to life,” will host vendors who make their products by hand and display their products from booths that are designed with flair. Co-owners of Queen Bee Market, sisters Kellie Dooley and Allison Gharst, hand-pick the artisans who will be showcasing and selling an array of handmade home décor, accessories, clothing, paper arts, vintage items and more.

The Las Vegas Fashion Council’s (LVFC) artLIVE! returns for its fifth annual installment on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 6-9 p.m. at Zappos Headquarters in Downtown Las Vegas. A collective of top Las Vegas artists, designers and students will debut one-of-a-kind designs alongside a silent auction with proceeds to benefit the LVFC’s scholarship fund.

The unique showcase will feature live activations including canvas, mannequin and body painting while guests enjoy DJ’d entertainment and light refreshments throughout the evening. In an effort to benefit the LVFC’s scholarship fund, in support of emerging student artists and designers, guests can bid on a variety of culinary, fashion, beauty and art silent auction packages. LVFC will also be honoring one fashion visionary and one art visionary within the community during the event.

“We are thrilled to present our fifth annual artLIVE! event, we love seeing what our talented designers and artists create to share with our guests each year,” said Carrie Carter Cooper, LVFC’s founder and president. “It always turns out to be an incredibly creative and rewarding evening supporting the local fashion and arts community.”

Featured artists include MiSCRE8, Daniel Holbrook, Joy Snyder, Kathryn Gilbert, Alex P. Huerta, Honora Comer, Tiki Jay One, Nancy Good, Hallie Frantz and Gemjaxx. As part of the evening’s festivities, LVFC is working with the local Make-A-Wish chapter to help fulfill a child’s wish of becoming a model and walking in a fashion show. The honored wish kid will receive runway and photography training, professional hair and make up, fashion styling and then debut in the artLIVE! fashion show to bring the wish to life during a special night.

Two new regular-priced sandwiches have been added to Ike’s deliciously addicting roster in Vegas: “Don’t Put Me On The Backburner” prepared with roast beef, jalapeno bacon, silver BBQ sauce, cheddar and American cheese as well as a vegetarian option that pays homage to the classic Vegas casino, “Silver Slipper,” which is made with vegan fried chicken, cheddar and American cheese. Menu favorites are the award-winning “Ménage a Trois,” a Halal chicken sandwich made with three different cheeses and sauces, as well as “Meatless Mike” with vegan meatballs, marinara and pepper jack. The ample menu includes over 500 vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free sandwich options.

Ike’s Las Vegas expansion follows the recent announcement of plans to grow to over 100 locations by the end of 2020. In 2019 alone, Ike’s has already opened 10 new restaurants with plans for a total of 20 new restaurants by the end of the year. Today, Ike’s has 64 restaurants open across California, Arizona, Nevada, Hawaii and, just recently, Texas. The store expects to have 100 locations open by the end of 2020.

MB Steak will offer moms a complimentary, sommelier-selected glass of Jeio Prosecco, with notes of fresh pear and strawberries. Moms may enjoy MB Steak’s menu of signature USDA Prime steaks and fresh seafood including filet mignon; fennel crusted salmon with marble potatoes and lobster butter; and pan roasted Alaskan halibut made with tomato broth and olive relish. Smoked Burgers & BBQ announces new food and drink specials for St. Patrick’s Day and March Madness.

St. Patrick’s Day
Celebrate the luck of the Irish this St. Patrick’s Day, Sunday, March 17 with the launch of “Bottomless BBQ Brunch.” The endless brunch will take place every Sunday and includes a variety of breakfast items and the option to add bottomless beer, mimosas or bloody marys. The brunch will be available for $30 per person from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

The “Bottomless BBQ Brunch” will feature:

  • Brisket & Eggs Sliders  – egg, smoked brisket, cheddar cheese, garlic aioli and BBQ sauce.
  • Breakfast Burrito – smoked applewood bacon, eggs, cheddar cheese, potatoes and salsa verde.
  • All American Breakfast – eggs, smoked applewood bacon, potatoes and Texas toast.

Celebrate March Madness, March 21 through March 23. Guests can enjoy an “All-You-Can-Eat Sports Menu” starting each day at 2 p.m. at $150 per person which includes a premium open bar. The restaurant features indoor seating accommodating 60 people with nine large screens. The Stripside patio accommodates up to 40 guests with six screens, providing ample viewing from every seat in the house.

The “All-You-Can-Eat Sports Menu” will feature:

  • French Fries – served with special smoked ketchup.

Galleria at Sunset will host United Blood Services on March 10 in the Lower Level Kohl’s Court. Help make an impact by donating blood at this life-saving event.

MDA FILL THE BOOT
In partnership with Clark County Fire Department, Henderson Fire and the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Galleria at Sunset will host the annual Fill the Boot donation drive to help raise money for kids suffering from Muscular Dystrophy. On March 16, April 6 and/or April 13, stop by during regular Galleria hours to make a donation and help raise money for a great organization.

FAMILY FESTIVAL
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 24 and 25, Galleria at Sunset will host educational and informational vendors offering free samples, prizes and giveaways, along with plenty of kid-friendly activities including crafts, games and interactive events designed to entertain, delight and educate. For moms, vendors selling, sampling and demonstrating hundreds of products and services focused on enhancing women’s lives will be on site.

On March 30, Galleria at Sunset will showcase the latest spring, summer and Prom fashions from leading retailers during its Spring Fashion Shows in the lower level Center Court at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Presented by Galleria at Sunset and benefitting National Charity League (Green Valley Chapter) featuring styles by local stylist Christy Love.
