The Las Vegas Fashion Council’s (LVFC) artLIVE! returns for its fifth annual installment on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 6-9 p.m. at Zappos Headquarters in Downtown Las Vegas. A collective of top Las Vegas artists, designers and students will debut one-of-a-kind designs alongside a silent auction with proceeds to benefit the LVFC’s scholarship fund.

The unique showcase will feature live activations including canvas, mannequin and body painting while guests enjoy DJ’d entertainment and light refreshments throughout the evening. In an effort to benefit the LVFC’s scholarship fund, in support of emerging student artists and designers, guests can bid on a variety of culinary, fashion, beauty and art silent auction packages. LVFC will also be honoring one fashion visionary and one art visionary within the community during the event.

“We are thrilled to present our fifth annual artLIVE! event, we love seeing what our talented designers and artists create to share with our guests each year,” said Carrie Carter Cooper, LVFC’s founder and president. “It always turns out to be an incredibly creative and rewarding evening supporting the local fashion and arts community.”

Featured artists include MiSCRE8, Daniel Holbrook, Joy Snyder, Kathryn Gilbert, Alex P. Huerta, Honora Comer, Tiki Jay One, Nancy Good, Hallie Frantz and Gemjaxx. Featured designers include Stitched, Azalea Ventura, Catherine Trifiletti, Flor de Liz Guior and Junior League Fashion Forward Student Design competition winners.

As part of the evening’s festivities, LVFC is working with the local Make-A-Wish chapter to help fulfill a child’s wish of becoming a model and walking in a fashion show. The honored wish kid will receive runway and photography training, professional hair and make up, fashion styling and then debut in the artLIVE! fashion show to bring the wish to life during a special night.

Tickets are $100 with an early bird special price of $75 running now until Oct. 11, membership pricing is $75 and student pricing is $25 with student ID. All tickets can be purchased on the LVFC website. Tickets will also be available at the door. Tivoli Village to Rebrand as an Emerging Lifestyle Center in the Las Vegas Area this Fall

New Culinary, Design and Wellness Concepts to Anchor Tivoli VIllage, Inviting Guests to Rediscover Their Lifestyle

 Tivoli Village is eager to invite guests to “rediscover” their lifestyle as a cutting-edge lineup of culinary hot spots, combined luxury design centers and wellness concepts, are set to arrive this fall.

Spirit Halloween will plan to takeover during the months of September-October where costume-goers can find an exclusive selection of themed products, in addition to top-of-the-line animatronics and decorations that will surely remind you why Halloween can be so much fun.

Galleria at Sunset will host its third Sunset Shop & Wine on Saturday, August 24 from 6 to 9 p.m. Complete with more than 15 wine tasting stations located inside popular stores, the event also offers up, food, entertainment and exclusive savings and discounts.

The brand-new Las Vegas location introduces the inaugural High Roller Menu at Ike’s Love & Sandwiches with three decadent sandwiches, all of which feature American Wagyu Roast Beef by Snake River Farms, Sliced Prime Rib by Lowers, Gossner Farms Provolone and Ike’s White Truffle Dirty Sauce. The “Howard Hughes” sandwich, valued at $100, features over 2lbs of premium meats. Smaller appetites can opt for the “Queen of Hollywood’s Royal Cheesesteak” at $69, a slimmer version of the Howard Hughes with added mushrooms. The third High Roller sandwich is “Bugsy Siegel.” Also at $69, this juicy sandwich includes the same premium meats as its High Roller counterparts with added salami, ham and premium butterball turkey.

Two new regular-priced sandwiches have been added to Ike’s deliciously addicting roster in Vegas: “Don’t Put Me On The Backburner” prepared with roast beef, jalapeno bacon, silver BBQ sauce, cheddar and American cheese as well as a vegetarian option that pays homage to the classic Vegas casino, “Silver Slipper,” which is made with vegan fried chicken, cheddar and American cheese. Menu favorites are the award-winning “Ménage a Trois,” a Halal chicken sandwich made with three different cheeses and sauces, as well as “Meatless Mike” with vegan meatballs, marinara and pepper jack. The ample menu includes over 500 vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free sandwich options.

Ike’s Las Vegas expansion follows the recent announcement of plans to grow to over 100 locations by the end of 2020. In 2019 alone, Ike’s has already opened 10 new restaurants with plans for a total of 20 new restaurants by the end of the year. Today, Ike’s has 64 restaurants open across California, Arizona, Nevada, Hawaii and, just recently, Texas. The store expects to have 100 locations open by the end of 2020.

The “Lovin’ Our Locals” or “L.O.L.” promotion centers around the Las Vegas local looking for effortless shopping at the renowned shopping destination on the Las Vegas Strip. Every Thursday, guests can shop for the holiday season with ease, from premium parking to complimentary gift wrapping, personal shoppers to expanded holiday experiences, and more.

Front Door Premium Parking
Available all-day on Thursday, November 29 through December 20
Parking is nothing to worry about this season with free self-parking and valet parking available at Fashion Show year-round. Plus, with front door premium parking available all day every Thursday, locals with a Nevada license plate can enjoy front row parking in dedicated spaces on Level 2 of the Spring Mountain parking garage. Las Vegas Fashion Council Hosts Fourth Annual artLIVE! at Zappos Headquarters

The Las Vegas Fashion Council’s (LVFC) artLIVE! returns for its fourth annual installment on Friday, Oct. 19 from 6-8 p.m. at Zappos Headquarters in Downtown Las Vegas. A collective of top Las Vegas artists and designers will debut 10 one-of-a-kind hand-painted mannequins during a silent auction with proceeds to benefit the LVFC’s scholarship fund.

The unique showcase will feature live activations including sand art, body painting and art in action while guests enjoy DJ’d entertainment and light refreshments throughout the evening. In an effort to benefit the LVFC’s scholarship Fund, in support of emerging student artists and designers, guests can bid on a variety of culinary, fashion, beauty and art silent auction packages.

“We are always thrilled with the success of this event and are excited to continue supporting the fashion and arts community through artLIVE!,” said Carrie Cooper, LVFC’s founder and president. “We can’t wait to see what our talented artists have in store for guests this year.”

Featured artists include Pete Castro, Haley Fonfa, Lil Art Bodega artists – M!SCRE8, The Stencil Artista, Snipt Art, RuthyJane Art, Kathryn Gilbert and Joy Snyder.
