The recently-opened MTO Café is now delivering their fresh comfort food to those living and working within a two mile radius of the restaurant. Available from 10 am – 2 pm, seven days a week, hungry downtowners can now enjoy the eatery’s made to order menu without ever leaving the office or the couch. Zooming around on electric bikes, the café is providing convenient and reliable delivery to downtown locals.

Located across from Las Vegas City Hall on the ground floor of the city parking garage, MTO Café is downtown’s newest culinary destination from Las Vegas based Shift Solutions. Featuring cuisine from chef partner Johnny Church, the restaurant serves up breakfast, lunch and weekend brunch, all available for delivery. Breakfast menu items include a selection of egg centered dishes, pancakes and waffles including the popular, Chicken “In a Waffle”. Those suffering from a late night can recover at lunch with the Hangover Burger, complete with bacon, fried egg, Tillamook cheddar and MTO’s special sauce. Or enjoy an afternoon treat with the Fat Elvis featuring French toast, bacon, banana, peanut butter, strawberries and Nutella. The menu also includes soups, salads and wraps for those looking for lighter fare.

A $20 minimum order is required for delivery and a $2 charge will be added to each bill. MTO Café is open weekdays from 7 am – 3 pm and from 8 am – 3 pm Saturday and Sunday.

Tuesday Mayor Carolyn G. Goodman, Ward 3 Councilman Bob Coffin and other city officials gathered for the official ribbon cutting to MTO Café. The new downtown eatery, which was awarded a $50,000 Quick Start Program grant by the City Council, opened its doors after a ceremonial presentation in front of the café before guests headed inside for a tour. Mayor Goodman remarked that she was thrilled to have a great spot so close to the office as she dined with fellow city workers and enjoyed the MTO Breakfast, complete with three eggs, bacon, toast and mashed potato stuffed hash browns.

MTO Café is the brainchild of Matt Moore and Ben Sabouri, and features fresh comfort food from chef partner Johnny Church.  Located across from the Las Vegas City Hall on the ground floor of the city parking garage, the 65-seat eatery pairs a modern industrial design with a retro comfort feel highlighted by a fourteen seat communal table ideal for the collaborative business environment of downtown.

Fresh comfort food made to order for breakfast, lunch and weekend brunch

Downtown diners will have a new go-to destination when MTO Café opens this October. Standing for Made To Order, the café will serve breakfast and lunch daily, with a brunch menu each weekend. MTO Café is the first restaurant from Las Vegas-based Shift Solutions, a company whose founders have had a hand in numerous venues in the city and beyond.

Located across from the Las Vegas City Hall on the ground floor of the city parking garage, the 65-seat eatery pairs a modern industrial design with a retro comfort feel and features a fourteen seat communal table, ideal for networking in the burgeoning collaborative business environment of downtown.

MTO Café will feature the cuisine of chef partner Johnny Church, who was named by Wine Spectator as a Rising Chef and has helmed the kitchens of several noted Strip restaurants and worked with Gordon Ramsey for the 2013 season of the TV hit Kitchen Nightmares.

Egg-centered breakfast specialties available as a wrap, omelet or skillet include a chile offering with jalapeno, cheddar, sour cream and scallions, one featuring chicken sausage, roasted tomato, caramelized onions and arugula as well as citrus house cured salmon with cream cheese chives and dill. Pancake offerings include lemon poppy seed with blueberry-ginger compote and vegan carrot and coconut pancakes with pecans and agave nectar while the chicken in a waffle satisfies both savory and sweet cravings.

Lunch features selection of soups and salads, along with inventive wraps such as the Celery Sucker with collard greens, quinoa, tatziki, babaganoush and tomato-basil and the Fat Elvis sandwich with French toast, bacon, banana, peanut butter, strawberries and Nutella. Burger lovers can feast on The Hang Over with bacon, fried egg, Tillamook Cheddar, lettuce and special sauce, a turkey version served open-faced with truffle bread pudding and orange-cranberry sauce, or the Tree Hugger with quinoa, corn, red pepper, spinach, onions, mushrooms and chipotle aioli.

Sides include 3rd Street Farmers Market vegetables, fries and gravy and more, and the meal can end on a sweet note with treats including banana split bites, fried apple rings or walnut tossies.
