Mrs. Vietnam World 2016, an international pageant showcasing the beauty and talents of married Vietnamese women from around the world, will be held at The Orleans Showroom on Sept. 10. The competition will feature Viet Tao as emcee, performances by singer Khac Viet and vocal group “The Men,” along with a fashion show by designer Tommy Nguyen.

The winner of the pageant will be awarded a 2017 Porsche 718 Boxster for one year during her reign, a custom crown made with Swarovski crystals, designer gowns and will have the honor of representing Vietnam at the Mrs. World pageant in South Korea.

UNLV MEN’S BASKETBALL NEWS: The Dave Rice Radio Show Starts Tuesday




Program will originate from Brendan’s Irish Pub at The Orleans Hotel & Casino. Will air live during the lunch hour on Sports 920 The Game then be replayed later in the day on ESPN Radio 1100 AM/98.9 FM

The Dave Rice Radio Show will make its 2013-14 debut on Tuesday, Oct. 29, airing live on Sports 920 (AM) The Game from 12-1 p.m., then replaying on ESPN Radio 1100 AM/98.9 FM from 6-7 p.m. 

The show will take place on selected weekdays throughout the entire season and will originate from Brendan’s Irish Pub at The Orleans Hotel & Casino.

Hosted by Jon Sandler, UNLV IMG College’s play-by-play voice of the Runnin’ Rebels, the show features Rice, the head coach of the UNLV men’s basketball team. Again this year, ESPN Radio 1100’s Seat Williams will co-host the show and it will also include Robert Smith, former Runnin’ Rebel legend and the men’s basketball program’s radio analyst.
