UNLV ATHLETICS TO TAKE PART IN SECOND ANNUAL #REBELSGIVE FUNDRAISING DRIVE
University-wide fundraising challenge scheduled for Nov. 7-8 encourages community to get involved and support high-impact campus programs, such as UNLV Athletics
UNLV Athletics is inviting the community to make an impact and donate during the university’s Second Annual #RebelsGive fundraising drive, November 7th and 8th.
#RebelsGive is a key part of UNLV Athletics’ Drive for 5 Membership Campaign, in which the Rebel Athletic Fund is working to double its membership base to 5,000-plus donors and grow annual philanthropic revenue. The university-wide fundraising drive is scheduled to take place over a 1,957-minute span, commemorating the year of UNLV’s founding (1957).
Gifts made to UNLV Athletics during #RebelsGive directly support student-athlete scholarships and positively impact the department’s efforts to graduate leaders, win championships and excel in all that we do.
“Because of the leadership, vision and generosity provided by several of our valued donors, we are confident that we will meet and exceed our goal during Rebels Give,” said UNLV Director of Athletics Desiree Reed-Francois. “With excellence and impact in mind, we are inviting our supporters to consider making an additional gift to UNLV Athletics during this year’s challenge.
“It is an important initiative and will help provide our student-athletes with the opportunity to continue having success in the classroom, in competition and in the community. The support has a direct impact on the lives of our student-athletes and on UNLV winning championships.”
