FLEMING’S PRIME STEAKHOUSE & WINE BAR OPENS NEW RESTAURANT IN LAS VEGAS

New Location Boasts Open Floor Plan, New Exterior Colors and Unique Bar Design

Southern California-based Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar is opening a new restaurant on the south Las Vegas Strip in Town Square on January 17. The new restaurant features a large patio that wraps around one side of the building, an open-floor plan main dining room area and customizable private dining rooms, as well as a modernized exterior and innovative design elements.

“We are proud to be expanding our footprint in Las Vegas with our second restaurant now located right on the iconic Strip,” said Skip Fox, President of Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar. “The new restaurant features many Fleming’s design firsts, and we’re pleased to present a new dining option for local Las Vegas residents and visitors.”

Located at 6515 S. Las Vegas Blvd., the new restaurant will feature fresh and creative design elements – a new back bar design and soft lounge seating within the bar, both are modern design elements for Fleming’s. The large wine room perpendicular to the back bar, also a new feature, provides a unique and dramatic backdrop while showcasing Fleming’s rich wine offering. The exterior puts a Las Vegas spin on the Fleming’s color palette and includes a neutral colored Venetian plaster in combination with a warm tan plaster color and copper awnings.

In addition to innovative bar and main dining room aesthetics, the large private dining rooms are fully customizable. They can be divided into spaces to accommodate events of various size and scope.

Bloomin’ Brands Innovation Design Team oversaw the build-out and interior design.

Fleming’s is now accepting reservations at FlemingsSteakhouse.com for dining after the January 17 opening. To find a Fleming’s location near you or for more information about Fleming’s, please visit www.flemingssteakhouse.com, www.Facebook.com/Flemings or follow us on Twitter @Flemings.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar Goes a Cut Above, Launches New Steak and Wine Menu Highlighting Dry-Aged New Steak Classics

American steak lovers select on cut, preparation and steak companions and Fleming’s serves up new menu items to satisfy

Today, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, launched its new menu nationwide featuring dry-aged steaks, bold cuts and enticing Steak Companions. The restaurant debuted dry aging preparation for richer, bolder flavor on select cuts and delicious Steak Companions and sauces for an elevated taste experience that goes above and beyond the classic steak.

“We’ve crafted an indulgent menu with a spotlight on steak, but take each cut to the next level,” said Chef Russell Skall, Fleming’s Corporate Executive Chef. “We’re introducing preparation techniques like dry aging our Prime beef on popular cuts, to serving each steak with surprising flavor profiles – we’ve got something for the purists and the adventurers.”

All steak cuts are classically and expertly seasoned with kosher salt and black pepper then broiled at 1600 degrees or iron-crusted and finished with butter and fresh parsley. Delicious new items and preparation techniques include:

Steak Companions:

  • Truffled Poached Lobster with bernaise sauce and caviar
  • Diablo Shrimp baked with a spiced barbeque butter sauce
  • King Crab with Herb Butter simmered with fresh herbs and garlic and topped with caviar
  • Flavor Trio with three steak spreads –  gorgonzola and mascarpone brulee´, sweet onion bacon jam and cabernet mustard

Varied Preparation Techniques:

  • Dry Aged – Cuts aged a minimum of 21 days allowing a richer, bolder flavor with a distinctive nutty note (available for the Prime New York Strip and the Prime Dry Aged Ribeye);
  • Wet Aged  – Cuts aged a minimum of 21 days providing a juicy, flavorful and savory bite (available for Prime Bone-In, New York Strip, Prime Bone-In Ribeye and Filet Mignon);

To perfectly pair with its new menu, the restaurant also released the 2014 edition of its award-winning wine list, the Fleming’s 100®, featuring 100 wines by the glass. This industry recognized wine program offers guests a choice of a variety of wines, personally chosen by Fleming’s National Director of Wine, Maeve Pesquera. Pesquera curates the lists over nine months, selecting an extensive list of varietals from both popular and up-and-coming wine regions.  The list includes 30 wines of exceptional value priced at $10 dollars or less, featuring classics and not-to-miss boutique selections.

“The new Fleming’s 100®, is the very best list in the 15-year history of Fleming’s,” said Pesquera. “Not only are we offering popular wines of today, but we’re putting the spotlight on the cult wines and standouts of tomorrow.”

Review: Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar Las Vegas

Vegas24Seven entered the culinary world known as Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar and exited as one of their biggest fans. This place has everything. Great facilities and ambiance, a happy hour to die for, an excellent menu packed with all our favorites, exceptional service and the food oooooh the food. Almost beyond description. And they’ll help you choose just the right wine to go with it from their huge wine list. They only difficult thing about going to Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar is choosing from all the great foods.

We chose the french quarter barbecue shrimp, the Fleming’s salad, signature onion rings, Fleming’s potatoes, petite filet mignon, bone-in ribeye, dry rubbed ribeye and how about that prime rib. And then topped it off with espresso, cheesecake and the chocolate lave cake. Everything was just fantastic and we were beyond very happy. What a great experience and evening. Check out Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar Summerlin at http://www.flemingssteakhouse.com/locations/nv/summerlin .  You’ll be glad you did. When you go there tell ’em Vegas24Seven sent ya’.

Hot Summer Grilling Tips from Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse Executive Chef

Fleming's

Summer is upon us and we’re bringing the heat on a favorite summer pastime—grilling. Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar’s very own Executive Chef Russell Skall would like to share tips and tricks on how to create the perfect barbecue. From the ideal meat cuts selection to the tastiest marinades and rubs! Here are a few tips to get you started

  •    Crank up the Heat! – A hot grill will get you the best results! Make sure you spend some time pre-heating your grill for around 15-20 minutes to make sure it reaches the ideal temperature. This ensures perfectly seared food that is perfectly charred on the outside but still juicy on the inside!

  •    Patience Pays Off – Let your meat rest before carving. Letting a steak rest for 10 minutes allows juices to redistribute, keeping your steak juicy and tender.

  •     Sour Means Tender – Marinades can do wonders for your food. Adding acidic liquids like vinegar or lemon juice to your marinade can work as a tenderizer to make tougher cuts of meats more enjoyable
