As the most recent statistics from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) show, Mommy Makeover procedures throughout the country have increased by six percent in the past year, as more mothers are reversing the effects of childbearing and age. Mommy Makeover cosmetic surgery procedures include breast augmentations, breast lifts, liposuction and tummy tucks; procedures that reshape the body.

Statistics from the ASPS illustrate that Mommy Makeovers have become increasingly popular across the nation. In fact, ASPS estimates that more than 620,000 Mommy Makeover procedures were performed on women age 20-54 in the United States in 2011. Across the nation, more than 290,000 women in this age group received breast augmentations and 75,000 women underwent breast lifts in 2011. Women in this age group also account for the majority of individuals receiving liposuction and tummy tucks, with more than 160,000 and 95,000 undergoing these procedures, respectively. Data compiled by the ASPS show that the occurrence of Mommy Makeovers nationally has increased by a total of 160 percent since 2000
The data further shows that Mommy Makeover procedures are most popular in the western states with tummy tucks in the western region of the country accounting for 30 percent of the total procedures of this type in the United States. Thirty-two percent of all liposuction and breast lift procedures as well as 36 percent of all breast augmentations occur in the western region. Further, the western region of the country accounted for the majority of the total cosmetic surgical procedures performed in the United States in 2011.
