Community short-term lender Dollar Loan Center has donated over $200,000 worth of radio and broadcast equipment to the Nevada Broadcaster’s Association who has gifted the University of Nevada, Las Vegas’ Hank Greenspun School of Journalism & Media Studies with this extraordinary collection of radio broadcast equipment to the school. The donation included an array of industry-standard equipment such as a deluxe sound isolation booth, a 6-line phone broadcast system, computers, monitors, microphones, mixing boards and more. This donation will support aspiring students in the world of broadcast, giving them the opportunity to work with top quality equipment while still in school.

 

Dollar Loan Center’s Founder and CEO Chuck Brennan has a rich history in the world of radio and live music as well as being an avid supporter of the medium. In 2015, Brennan took to the air with his own FM station where it quickly rose to the #1 Rock & Roll station in the Midwest, featuring 24/7 DJs, local music and an unmatched atmosphere. After going off the air in 2017, Brennan then started DLC Radio which was an HD2 signal based out of Las Vegas, NV.

 

The Nevada Broadcasters Association is a collection of talented individuals who contributed to the broadcasting scene in Nevada.
