Enhanced ace | PLAY™ Program Pays More than $120K in Dividends
American Casino & Entertainment Properties, the parent company of Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower, Arizona Charlie’s Casinos and Aquarius Casino Resort in Laughlin, NV, announces the first payout from its groundbreaking new ace | PLAY Dividend bonus program.
On April 16, 2012, the new ace | PLAY Dividend distributed points collectively valued at more than $120,000 in cash or a comp value of more than $240,000, to the top two levels of ace | PLAY members as a direct result of loyal play.
The ace | PLAY Dividend is an exclusive award added to the players club on March 20, 2012, as part of recent upgrades to the program. The Dividend is an extra distribution of points to eligible players three times a year for local players and annually for players who live out of market.
The new award starts with a gift of 15,600 points for ace | PLAY red members and a gift of 6,000 points for ace | PLAY green members. However, the more players play, the bigger the Dividend point total gets. These extra points will be received as long as a player maintains their red or green level status during their evaluation period.
Under the upgraded ace | PLAY program, players can choose how to redeem their points. Six-hundred points can still be redeemed for one dollar cash; 500 points can now be redeemed for one dollar play on slots, bingo, and keno (depending on property); and only 300 points are required to redeem one dollar in comps, an important benefit as points needed for comps are only half of what is required for cash awards.

At Arizona Charlie’s Casinos, where the goal is to serve players in the competitive Las Vegas local casino market, the payout is coupled with the launch of a new marketing campaign called “Built for the Gambler” which highlights the properties’ commitment to providing players an intimate gaming experience at a casino that values customer service and personal rewards.
The radio advertisements feature the unmistakable voice of actor, politico, author and celebrity host Ben Stein who points out that Arizona Charlie’s Decatur and Arizona Charlie’s Boulder are big enough for the games players want, but small enough to make players feel comfortable.
