New Public Relations Agency Announced In Las Vegas
Red 7 Communications is Led by Two Award-Winning Former Journalists
Red 7 Communications, a new full-service public relations agency in Las Vegas, Nevada, is now officially open for business.
While the company name is new, the people behind Red 7 Communications – Mitch Truswell and Kathy Topp – are seasoned veterans in working with media to build awareness for clients large and small.

Mitch is an Emmy award-winning journalist with more than twenty years experience in television news working as a reporter and anchor at stations in Sacramento, Phoenix and Las Vegas. He has overseen public relations for a major local casino company, restaurant hot spots, entertainers, and non-profit agencies vital to the community. Mitch is on the board of directors for the Southern Nevada Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Mitch’s favorite number is “7”.
Kathy is a four-time Emmy award-winning journalist who led marketing, public relations and community affairs for one of the largest non-profit agencies in Nevada. She has also been honored with an Edward R. Murrow Award and two National Education Writers Association Awards. In 2010, In Business Las Vegas named her as one of the city’s “40 Under 40″. Kathy has managed public relations for one of the most iconic hotel/casinos in Las Vegas, as well as other gaming properties, large non-profits and collaborative events. Kathy’s favorite color is red.
