REBELS TRAVEL TO THE GOLDEN STATE FOR SEASON OPENER
UNLV Cross Country will compete at Cal State Fullerton’s Mark Covert Classic.
The UNLV cross country team begins its 2025 season at Cal State Fullerton’s Mark Covert Classic Saturday morning in Fullerton. The meet, which is being contested at the Titan Track Complex, will feature the women’s 6K, which is slated for 9:00 am PT start time.
The Rebels and host Titans will be joined by Chapman University, the College of Southern Nevada and Mt. San Antonio College.
UNLV will send 10 student-athletes on the trip, including seven returners from the 2024 season. The Scarlet & Gray will be represented Saturday by seniors Nicole Boskovich, Taylor Gauthier and Aine McDade, juniors Alana Sangprasit, Autumn Viscardo and transfer Angelina Vasquez, sophomores Claire Rands and Eva Walker and freshmen Kimberly Ovadia and Reagan Reed.
2025 SCHEDULE: UNLV will compete in three regular-season meets this season. The squad will participate at the UC Riverside Invitational next month (Sept. 27) before heading back to Riverside, California for the Highlander Invitational (Oct. 18). The MW Championships are slated for Oct. 31, while the NCAA Regionals are two weeks later in Sacramento on Nov. 14.
