Luxor Hotel and Casino celebrates Father’s Day on Sunday, June 17 with a specially created menu and sushi roll designed to please even the most discerning of dads. Executive Sushi Chef Danny Chen of Rice & Company offers the spicy “Big Daddy” sushi roll while Executive Chef K.C. Fazel of TENDER Steak & Seafood has crafted an unparalleled three-course prix fixe menu. Both are sure to make dad’s day even more special.

To honor dads, Rice & Company’s Chef Danny Chen created the “Big Daddy” roll made with shrimp tempura, shiso and kaiware, wrapped with wagyu beef, avocado, jalapeño and tobiko. Priced at $18, the spicy culinary creation is topped with yuzu chili for fathers to enjoy on their exclusive day. Guests can pair the manly roll with the “Man’s Mountain” classic sake, priced at $8 a glass, for a smooth finish to the delicious roll.

At TENDER, Chef Fazel has prepared a three course prix fixe menu for dads and their families, priced at $55 per person. For starters, guests will have a choice of Caesar Salad made with garlic anchovy dressing, American Kobe Chili with Kobe beef, smoked bacon, sour cream and chives or the Maine Lobster Bisque soup. For the main course, fathers will delight in either a 10 ounce Range-Fed New Zealand Beef Ribeye served with roasted exotic mushrooms in caramelized onion ragout; Pan Roasted Skuna Bay Salmon made with organic farro pilaf and Mediterranean succotash; or Barbecue Braised Wagyu Kobe Boneless Short Ribs served with a dark ale barbecue sauce and creamed sweet white corn. Dessert selections include the Chocolate Decadent Cake layered with chocolate fudge ganache and vanilla bean gelato or Tahitian Vanilla Crème Brulee served with a shortbread cookie and huckleberry compote.
