Anchoring the grand lobby will be a spacious seating area with stylish settees and plush pillows, oversized armchairs and a chic bar for a relaxing respite. Twenty-six-foot vaulted ceilings dotted with shimmering mirror accents, a dazzling chandelier centerpiece and beautiful integrations of opulent stone encapsulate Crockfords Las Vegas’s attention to detail. Prominent shades of emerald and peacock softened by delicate accents of blush create an ethereal, sophisticated arrival moment.

 

As guests make their way through the private guestroom corridor, beauty can be found in every detail – from rich textures and luxe fixtures to beautiful carpet designs of platinum, cream and frosted taupe tones.

 

 

Crockfords Superior Guestrooms

The 550-square foot Crockfords Superior guestrooms offer a tranquil escape, featuring a chic color palette of soft platinum, taupe and nude tones dotted with burgundy and gold accents that perfectly complement the stone-topped cabinetry, custom upholstered headboards, and subtle carpet design. Each guestroom features one king or two queen beds and elevated amenities, including sophisticated minibar options. Upgraded bathrooms are designed with polished metal fixtures, a modern dual sink vanity, a separate water closet with a vibrant light blue glass enclosure, and Volakas marble with delicate veining.

Crockfords Superior Suites

Crockford’s collection of one to three-bedroom suites range between 1,100 and 3,000 square feet. Adorned with contemporary décor, each suite offers open living and dining room areas, a bar and separate sleeping quarters with glamorous en-suite bathrooms featuring a generous soaking tub and glass enclosed walk-in rain showers. Each suite type carries the theme of a refined, neutral color palette accented with black and gold to enhance the stone-topped cabinetry, natural wood details and subtle platinum carpet pattern. Each suite will feature thoughtfully designed walk-in closets with a full-length mirror, shoe shelving and drawer compartments, as well as a private powder room and upgraded amenities.

 

Crockfords Presidential Suites

High above the Las Vegas Strip, guests will enjoy 4,500 square feet of luxury with unparalleled views of the city designed in a stylish color palette of taupe and rich chocolate tones. Fashion Show Las Vegas and American Red Cross Continue to Save Lives with Additional Blood Drives in September

WHAT:

Fashion Show Las Vegas will team up with the American Red Cross to host additional blood drives during the month of September, and recently released an updated schedule. Guests able to donate blood are welcome to visit the property’s pop-up donor location on the first floor near Macy’s Men’s, and are encouraged to make an appointment prior to arrival. Please note the following schedule as dates have recently changed: September 9; 21 and 26, 2020.

 

The Red Cross is urging healthy donors to make an appointment to give blood to support children fighting cancer, patients with sickle cell disease, and others facing serious illnesses. More blood donors are needed to ensure hospitals have the blood necessary to help save lives.

 

According to the National Cancer Institute, more than 15,000 children and adolescents in the U.S. are diagnosed with cancer each year. Childhood cancer patients may need blood products on a regular basis during chemotherapy, surgery or treatment for complications.

 

The Red Cross is now testing all blood donations for COVID-19 antibodies. The test may indicate if the donor’s immune system has produced antibodies to this coronavirus, regardless of whether they developed symptoms. Donors who help support the need by giving at this drive will be able to view their results 7-10 days after donation through the Red Cross Blood Donor App or the donor portal at RedCrossBlood.org.

 

During September, those who come to give blood at an American Red Cross blood drive or donation center will receive a free haircut coupon courtesy of Sport Clips Haircuts at participating Sports Clips locations. Those who donate from Sept. 4-8 will also receive a pair of Red Cross branded socks, while supplies last.

 

Each Red Cross blood drive and donation center follows the highest standards of safety and infection control, and additional precautions – including temperature checks, social distancing and face coverings for donors and staff – have been implemented to protect the health of all those in attendance.

 

Donation appointments can be made by downloading the free Blood Donor App, visiting RedCrossBlood.org, calling 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or enabling the Blood Donor Skill on any Alexa Echo device and use sponsor code FashionShowRetail.

 

Donors are asked to schedule an appointment prior to arriving at the drive and are required to wear a face covering or mask while at the drive, in alignment with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention public guidance.

These experiences, created by Immotion’s Emmy® Award-winning documentary team, presents live-action educational and adventurous content guided by marine biologists and wildlife experts. With a mission to support marine conservation through the creation of engaging events, “Undersea Explorer” features cutting-edge technology syncing 360-degree stereoscopic VR with dynamic motion seating for the ultimate below-the-sea adventure.

 

As part of the “Undersea Explorer” exhibition, attendees can explore various experiences including:

  • “Shark Dive” – “Swim” with marine biologist Matthew Smukall and Shark Whisperer Mike Dornellas as they dive among tiger sharks and hammerheads. The dive features the world’s first VR POV Shark Cam from a camera mounted on a shark’s dorsal fin!

 

  • “Swimming with Humpbacks” – Follow marine biologist/cameraman Jeff Hester as he sets out to learn about the behavior of mother humpback whales and their calves. Track a newborn and its mom undersea and see how the behavior of the mother evolves as the calf matures.

 

  • Take a “Jawsome” selfie in the hyper-realistic shark cage, learn about the amazing anatomy of the humpback whale, track the real-time movement of sharks around the world and learn the secrets of the humpback whale songs – all activities guests can experience in the virtual undersea adventure pre-show area.

Renovations at TI enhance guest experience and significantly expand sportsbook as professional sports leagues and competitions return worldwide

Treasure Island Las Vegas has officially debuted Golden Circle Sportsbook and Bar, a brand-new sports betting center located on the property’s casino floor.

The venue houses over 750 occupants and guests will now be able to enjoy a multitude of televised sporting events from around the world featured on a sprawling video wall. Additional featured amenities include a full bar, VIP seating, Stadium Gaming and numerous dining options consisting of both small bites and main courses.

Alongside sports viewing and betting, guests can dine on a variety of menu items ranging from appetizers including a giant pretzel served with cheese sauce and honey mustard, chicken wings and nachos, to salads and main courses such as the Golden Circle Burger and Bison Burger among other featured plates. Food prices start at $12.95.

The Mirage pays homage to the legacy of Siegfried & Roy as it reopens to the public today

Their names lit up The Mirage marquee for nearly 14 years. Now their names will lead guests into the resort forever.

 

As The Mirage reopens its doors to the public today, guests will turn off the Las Vegas Strip onto Siegfried & Roy Drive when they arrive at the property. The street was officially renamed for the Masters of Illusion, who were known the world over for their record-setting performance run at the resort from 1990-2003.

 

Roy Horn died earlier this year, at the age of 75, due to complications from Covid-19.

 

“I’m touched by this honor and I know Roy, if he were here, would love to see our names permanently placed above The Strip,” said Siegfried. “The Mirage was our performance home for so many years and this city has always meant so much to both of us.”

 

The new street name was unveiled in conjunction with the reopening of The Mirage after a five-month closure due to the global pandemic.

 

MGM Resorts CEO Bill Hornbuckle, said, “Siegfried & Roy helped us launch The Mirage and it is fitting their legacy helps us reopen today. Their incredible show played a tremendous role putting The Mirage on the map. Today, we put them on the Las Vegas map, forever.”

 

Reopening with the resort is Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat, which features more than two dozen rare and endangered big cats and dolphins.

Circus Circus Las Vegas has unveiled a new prize redemption system at its family-friendly Carnival Midway. Guests looking to try their luck at classic midway and arcade games will be able to use an all-new Midway Playcard to rack up ticket points, which can be redeemed for premium prizes at the newly renovated prize redemption center.

The Midway Playcard, which can be obtained and loaded at on-site Playcard kiosks, is a cashless way for guests to play midway and arcade classics such as Roll-A-Ball Race, Balloon Bust, Skee-Ball and Air Hockey. The Playcard can be recharged with additional credits at anytime. Midway hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
