Little to perform one-man show through July 4, 2012

Due to overwhelming response, legendary comedian and impressionist Rich Little has announced “Jimmy Stewart & Friends” has been extended at LVH – Las Vegas Hotel & Casino through July 4, 2012. Featuring more than 25 celebrity icon voices, including Cary Grant, George Burns, Ronald Reagan, Katharine Hepburn and John Wayne, among others, “Jimmy Stewart & Friends” will take you on an adventure through the life of the famed Jimmy Stewart.

“Jimmy Stewart & Friends”is performed Saturday – Wednesday at the Shimmer Cabaret inside the LVH. All performances begin at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $53.90 and $63.90 plus tax and applicable fees. A VIP package including premium seating is available for $73.90 plus tax and applicable fees. Nevada residents and LVH Hotel guests are eligible to receive a 2-for-1 ticket offer. He quickly became a household name sitting in one of the “Hollywood Squares” and went on to do the “Muppet Show.”

Named “Comedy Star of the Year” by the American Guild of Variety Artists, Little was the perpetrator of nine comedy albums and three HBO comedy specials, as well as the Emmy Award winning specials “Rich Little’s Christmas Carol” with “W.C. Fields” as Scrooge, “Humphrey Bogart” as one of the ghosts and “Paul Lynde” as Bob Cratchit.

Celebrity Impressionist Rich Little Donates $100,000 to Heaven Can Wait Animal Society for the 11th Annual Memory Walk

Rich Little attends “Lose A Pound With Your Hound” on Oct. 23 to be a part of the solution

 

Celebrity impressionist Rich Little joins Heaven Can Wait Animal Society to pay tribute to the more than 30,000 shelter animals that were euthanized in 2010 with the “Lose A Pound With Your Hound” Memory Walk on Sunday, October 23 located at Bunker Park. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the walk starts at 10 a.m.

Little will be at the event to showcase his support as well as to donate $100,000 to the organization that brings awareness to the devastating amount of cats and dogs that are euthanized each year.

With his commitment to the animal community, Rich Little will join families and their furry friends in the festivities of the day including paw painting, food, music, mobile dog grooming and much more. Pet owners can also “Buy A Collar For A Dollar” to be a part of the chain of collars that will be displayed during the walk to represent the thousands of animals that have been lost due to euthanization.
