December 4th dinner will benefit the Red Cross and ABS-CBN Foundation
to help families in the Philippines affected by Typhoon Haiyan


WHAT: Chef Maneet Chauhan, author of the cookbook “Flavors of my World,” and a judge on Food Network’s hit show, “Chopped,” will create a special menu at Origin India Restaurant and Bar in Las Vegas on Wednesday, December 4th, to raise money for Filipinos affected by Typhoon Haiyan. The four-course set menu will feature Chef Chauhan’s dishes that represent her cooking and also showcase influences of Filipino cuisine. Origin India will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sales to the Red Cross and ABS-CBN Foundation to assist with ongoing relief efforts.

WHEN: Wednesday, December 4th – $50 per guest (does not include tax or gratuity).

About Chef Maneet Chauhan
After graduating at the top of her class at the WelcomGroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration, India’s top culinary and hotel management school, Chef Maneet Chauhan spent time at India’s finest hotels and kitchens, including names like the Taj Group, Oberoi Hotels and Le Meridian, before heading to the US where she attended The Culinary Institute of America and graduated with high honors sweeping all awards in her class. After being the only Indian female ever to compete on Iron Chef and a fierce competitor on The Next Iron Chef, Chef Chauhan is now a full-time judge on the Food Network hit show, Chopped, which has been nominated for a Critic’s Choice Award and granted Chef Chauhan the honor of receiving the prestigious James Beard Award of Excellence.
