The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf®, Las Vegas Launches
Annual Heroes at Heart Campaign to Benefit
Firefighters of Southern Nevada Burn Foundation

The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf®, Las Vegas will launch the annual Heroes at Heart campaign, this year benefitting local first responders. From May 21 through July 8, $1 from each in-store purchase of limited edition coffee and tea blends will be donated to the Firefighters of Southern Nevada Burn Foundation, which provides support to victims of fires and catastrophic events throughout Las Vegas.

“This is a remarkable group of men and women who are dedicated to serving and protecting our community,” said Jenny Gidge, director of operations for The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Las Vegas. “Through this campaign, we’re proud to put them first and give them the support they need to help this foundation thrive.”

The Firefighters of Southern Nevada Burn Foundation raises funds for further education on fire safety, to send children to seasonal burn camps and school reintegration programs, and to provide counseling and other resources to burn victims and their families, including other firefighters. Additionally, these firefighters also collect toys for thousands of disadvantaged children in need during the holidays.

In addition to purchasing these speciality blends for $9.95 each for their own brews at home, guests have the option to buy both items to donate directly to local fire departments. Local Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf locations will also host various in-store events in addition to sponsoring the upcoming 2018 Firefighter Bachelor Auction at The Foundry inside the SLS Hotel & Casino on Saturday, June 9. Guests are invited to meet the eligible bachelors at the Heroes at Heart kick-off event on Monday, May 21 at the Horizon Ridge Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf location from 8-10 a.m.

The Heroes at Heart coffee blend is a dark and distinctive roast with roasted nut aroma, dried fruit and semi-sweet chocolate notes sourced from the Cerrado region of Brazil. The limited edition tea features green tea leaves picked from the province of Jeolla-Namdo, South Korea blended with peppermint and cornflower creating a unique, sweet flavor.
