The SMX World Championship™ is heating up as the World Championship Final returns to The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Saturday, September 20, in Las Vegas, NV. Tickets to see the world’s best on two wheels are still available at SuperMotocross.com, along with a variety of VIP options for sale and pre-race festivities that complete the race day experience. The Las Vegas Final will be filled with two action-packed days for fans as gates open for Practice sessions on Friday, September 19.
The SMX World Championship Playoffs and Final will feature the best athletes in the world as the top 20 in combined Supercross and Pro Motocross points are automatically seeded into the playoff rounds. As in other sport playoffs, athletes will be competing for the sport’s ultimate World Championship title, and the prestige that comes from overcoming adversity through a 28-round, dual-discipline (indoor and outdoor) season, plus two SMX Playoffs and a Final.
Last year’s historical season saw two of the sport’s youngest and brightest stars cement their place in the history books as both defended their inaugural year championships and won. At just 18, Haiden Deegan earned his second 250cc World Championship while Australian generational-talent Jett Lawrence, at 21, became the first-ever repeat 450cc World Champion in the premier class.
Aptly named, The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway is conveniently located just twenty minutes away from the world-famous Las Vegas Strip. Several event enhancements have been made to this year’s World Championship Final:
- Parking is included with the purchase of a ticket
- Added multiple venue entry points and faster security checks into Saturday FanFest for more seamless guest event access
- Catch a free ride from the track to the Las Vegas Strip with the complimentary Post-Event Shuttle service (available on first-come, first-serve basis)
“The Strip” at Las Vegas Motor Speedway is one of the most iconic dragstrips in the country and joins zMAX Dragway as being one of just two dragstrips in the nation to feature four-wide racing. This expansive footprint allowed our master track builders to get very imaginative last year in creating the final SMX World Championship track and they will be eager to outdo themselves this year. Situated right across the street from the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, The Strip is home to more than 50 events a year and provides an intimate viewing experience from the grandstands and suites while also offering fans the ability to “line the fence”, similar to what is done at a Pro Motocross event.

“The Strip” provided some of the best racing of 2024 and will again serve as the perfect backdrop for the World Championship Final.
The 2025 season delivered tremendous battles and shocking twists across 28 rounds. The Monster Energy Supercross season proved to be one of the most exciting in recent memory, with Cooper Webb clinching his third 450SX title in dramatic fashion—edging Chase Sexton by just two points in the Salt Lake City finale, while Justin Cooper secured third overall. In the 250 ranks, Haiden Deegan dominated the West with four wins en route to his first Supercross crown, and Tom Vialle showcased consistency to capture the East title by just three points over Seth Hammaker. As the action moved outdoors for the Pro Motocross season, defending SMX World Champion Jett Lawrence returned from injury with a vengeance, winning eight of 11 rounds and locking up the 450 title one race early. Deegan further cemented his rising-star status in the 250 Class, winning six of 11 rounds to claim the championship over Jo Shimoda in what marked his final Pro Motocross season in the class.
Fans can expect a two-day experience in Las Vegas as the World Championship Final will offer a Friday Fan Zone in addition to a Saturday FanFest experience. Friday’s Fan Zone will feature access to the pre-race press conference, free practice sessions, autograph sessions, pit bike racing, and the SMX Insiders Live show. Full Friday schedule can be found here.
For fans looking to elevate their race day, a variety of VIP Experiences are available that bring you closer to the action than ever before. Exclusive race team experiences are offered with Monster Energy Star Racing Yamaha, Twisted Tea Suzuki, and the Lawrence Brothers.
