Lyft Joins Forces with Budweiser and RESQWATER Proactive Recovery to Provide Safe Rides for Memorial Day Weekend
In 2016, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department estimates half of the 118 fatal collisions involved impaired drivers. With more than 300,000 visitors descending on Las Vegas for Memorial Day, Lyft Las Vegas has partnered with Budweiser and RESQWATER Proactive Recovery to provide safe rides to reduce impaired driving and work toward a zero traffic fatality weekend.
Between Friday, May 26 and Monday, May 29, Lyft Las Vegas will provide new and existing Lyft riders $5 off two rides when they use the code “MDWRIDE” while supplies last. Additionally, RESQWATER Proactive Recovery will be offering product in select vehicles throughout the weekend to thank riders for choosing Lyft.
“DUIs are completely avoidable,” said Lyft Las Vegas General Manager Yacob Girma. “We want Las Vegas residents and tourists to celebrate responsibly and keep our city safe by letting Lyft take them home.”
In addition, guests can also visit any Lee’s Liquors in Las Vegas to receive an exclusive Lyft promo code with purchase of Budweiser or RESQWATER Proactive Recovery products.
