The star-studded World Financial Group (WFG) Continental Cup of Curling will return to the Orleans Arena on Wednesday, Jan. 16 through Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019.

This curling event is a unique competition, pitting six of the top women’s and men’s teams from North America, up against six of the best teams from the rest of the curling world. Several disciplines, including the new mixed doubles event, are contested over a four-day period.

Competitors of the World Financial Group Continental Cup of Curling will include Olympic Champions, including Olympic gold medal winners Team John Shuster of the U.S.A., along with World Champions and more.

The draw schedule is as follows (schedule is subject to change):

Wednesday, January 16
7:30 p.m. – Grand March of Athletes – Orleans Hotel and Casino (free for public to attend)
8 p.m. – Opening Ceremonies – Orleans Arena (free for public to attend)

Thursday, January 17
8:30 a.m. – Draw 1: Mixed Doubles
1:30 p.m. – Draw 2: Mixed Doubles
6:30 p.m. – Draw 3: Women’s Team Play

Friday, January 18
8:30 a.m. – Draw 4: Mixed Doubles
1:30 p.m. – Draw 5: Mixed Doubles
7 p.m. – Draw 6: Men’s Team Play

Saturday, January 19
8:30 a.m. – Draw 7: Women’s Team Scramble
1:30 p.m. – Draw 8: Men’s Team Scramble
6:30 p.m. – Draw 9: Mixed Team Scramble

Sunday, January 20
11 a.m. – Draw 10: Skins Games
4 p.m. – Draw 11: Skins Games

Single draw tickets start at $20 plus tax and fees and can be purchased by calling Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000; online at www.orleanscasino.com or www.ticketmaster.com; or in-person at gift shops inside The Orleans, Suncoast, Gold Coast and Sam’s Town. Tickets may also be purchased the day of the show (depending upon availability) at the venue box office. Local families can purchase tickets as low as two tickets for $29, plus tax and fees, in the “Family Fun Zone,” offering the opportunity to watch the live curling action and competitors up close.
