Faith Lutheran Graduate Jordan Watkins Heads to U.S. Air Force Academy as D1 Baseball Standout and Future Engineer
Jordan Watkins, a standout athlete and proud graduate of Faith Lutheran High School, is setting his sights sky-high—literally and figuratively. The local baseball phenom has committed to the U.S. Air Force Academy, where he’ll serve his country while competing as a Division I athlete and pursuing a degree in aeronautical engineering.
Watkins was recently recognized by the Las Vegas Review-Journal as one of Southern Nevada’s Top Baseball Players of 2025, an honor earned through determination, discipline, and performance that soared both on and off the mound.
A Senior Season to Remember
A right-handed pitcher known for his precision and poise, Watkins led Faith Lutheran through a thrilling playoff push that culminated in a state championship tournament appearance. His final high school season stats tell a compelling story:
