This new experience invites groups of “fugitives” to step back to 1962 and follow in the nefarious footsteps of three Alcatraz criminals, Clarence Anglin, John Anglin and Frank Morris, who escaped from America’s most notorious prison. Visitors begin the adrenaline-fueled adventure locked inside a prison cell and have just 60 minutes to use cunning and ingenuity to break free. With no time to lose, aspiring escapees must stay calm, cool and collected and find clues to solve puzzles that reveal the infamous trio’s escape plans and secret tunnels. Can’t crack the codes? Madame Tussauds brought the best of the best to create “Alcatraz – The Breakout.” Rogue Productions, which designed Time Run – the London escape room hailed by media as, “the single greatest live game experience” – lent its stellar design skills to this experience.
Designed for four-to-eight escapees-to-be, “Alcatraz – The Breakout” offers groups a private escape experience, while bigger groups score lower costs per person:
- Group of four jail-breakers: $125
- Group of five or six jail-breakers: $150
- Group of seven or eight jail-breakers: $175
“Alcatraz – The Breakout” represents the newest appealing addition to one of the city’s most versatile event venues.
