Goodwill Debuts Upscale Déjà Blue Boutique in Summerlin
First-of-its-kind boutique in Southern Nevada Opens on September 6 at 9 a.m.
Good fashion is worth repeating.
On Friday, September 6 at 9 a.m., Goodwill of Southern Nevada will open its first Déjà Blue Boutique in Summerlin at 10300 West Charleston Blvd. (at Town Center) featuring an exclusive selection of brand name fashion-forward clothing, shoes, accessories and household decorative items at a fraction of their retail value.
“Every item for sale in our new Déjà Blue Boutique is handpicked for its brand name, quality and to make sure it’s trendy,” said Chris Matlock, Goodwill of Southern Nevada’s Director of Retail and Operations. “Déjà Blue will make high fashion affordable.”
Modeled after similar successful upscale Goodwill locations in Denver and Orange County, Goodwill of Southern Nevada’s 2,800-square foot Déjà Blue Boutique will feature brand names like Michael Kors, Ann Taylor, True Religion or Prada. Merchandise for the boutique will come from donation centers all over the valley, as well as donations made directly to the boutique itself.
“We are paying a lot of attention to the kind of atmosphere we are creating inside the new boutique,” said Steve Chartrand, Goodwill of Southern Nevada President & CEO. “With new fixtures, upscale displays and flooring, it will bring the bling to Summerlin. In fact, customers may not even realize they are shopping at Goodwill.”
With the opening of the new Déjà Blue Boutique, Goodwill of Southern Nevada will operate twelve retail locations in Southern Nevada. Revenue from the sale of gently used items at Goodwill retail stores fund Goodwill of Southern Nevada’s job placement and training programs. Last year, Goodwill of Southern Nevada helped 1,800 individuals in Southern Nevada find employment and provided services to more than 8,000.
Déjà Blue Boutique will create eight new jobs in Southern Nevada.
