Horses4Heroes Launches Summer Farm Camp 2025 with Hands-On Fun and Learning for Kids Ages 5–13
Horses4Heroes has kicked off its annual Summer Farm Camp at The Ranch Las Vegas with a new, smaller format focused on personalized, hands-on experiences. Week One welcomed eager campers who spent their days immersed in farm life, learning essential horsemanship and animal care skills, making crafts, and building lifelong friendships.
Throughout the week, campers mucked stalls, cleaned and filled water troughs, bathed horses, and participated in beginner riding lessons that emphasized safety, balance, and control. They also made homemade treats for horses and farm animals, tie-dyed t-shirts, created bird feeders thanks to Ooh La Lola, and even taught tricks to the resident pigs. The camp offered up-close moments with baby goats and a friendly calf named Cora, all while encouraging campers to work together and care for animals with compassion and confidence.
Summer Farm Camp runs weekly through August 8, with no camp scheduled the week of June 30. Limited spaces remain for Weeks 5 through 9, from July 7 to August 8. Weekly registration includes Farm Life, Farm Science, Farm Fitness, and, of course, daily time with the horses. Camps are open to boys and girls ages 5 to 13. A discount is available for Horses4Heroes members, as well as for military families, first responders, teachers, and healthcare workers.
In addition to summer camp, Horses4Heroes invites families to enjoy Family Farm Days every Friday and Saturday from 9 am to 11 am. Admission is $10 per child for military and first responders and $15 per child for local residents. Family Farm Days are open to children ages 2 to 13 and offer a fun and affordable way to experience farm life in the heart of the city.
