KRYSZCZUK NAMED TO ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT BASEBALL TEAM

UNLV senior left fielder Austin Kryszczuk was named to the 2023 Academic All-District® Baseball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, the organization formerly known as CoSIDA announced Tuesday.
Kryszczuk, who was named to the 2023 Mountain West All-Conference Preseason Team, is a human services major with a 3.72 GPA. He currently leads the conference and is tied for 20th in the NCAA in sacrifice flies (6) and sits fifth in the conference in walks (29).
The program recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes baseball honorees in four divisions – NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 7.
