L MAKEUP INSTITUTE OPENS NEW RETAIL COSMETICS STORE AT TIVOLI VILLAGE

L Makeup Institute has opened an expansive retail location at Tivoli Village providing the public with services including makeup application, group makeup lessons and a retail area stocked with over 40 professional cosmetics brands. The space is the brainchild of makeup artist Lissette Waugh, a Las Vegas native and founder of L Makeup Institute, the city’s only accredited school offering a full curriculum in makeup artistry and special makeup effects.
Since 2010 L Makeup Institute has been developing professional makeup artists, now Waugh has expanded her vision to offer professional level services and products to the consumer.
“Our retail component now makes it possible for anyone to have a celebrity-style red carpet treatment for any occasion,” said Waugh. “For formals, charity events, weddings, costume parties and more, we offer full makeup application services using only the highest-level products.”
Services start at just $15 for false eyelash application and $55 for full face makeup applications, with additional offerings including fantasy makeup which includes glitter, rhinestones and lashes, bridal party makeup, special effects application for Halloween and more.
Additionally, L Makeup offers individual and group lessons where participants learn from a professional the art of choosing the ideal colors to enhance complexion, contouring, eyeshadow placement and how to apply false eyelashes. Lessons include a take home makeup bag with the products professionally selected during the class. These lessons can be fully customized to the group and offer the ideal setting for teen birthday party gatherings.
The 2,000 square-foot retail space includes numerous different styles of false eyelashes, a glitter bar with 15 cosmetic grade glitters, skincare lines including Ebryolisse, Korres and Philosophy, a full offering of tools including airbrush machines, rolling cases, brushes and more. Every cosmetic line and accessory carried has been chosen by the industry’s top established makeup artists, including Kryolan Pro Zone, Ben Nye, Inglot, NYX, Sigman, Beauty Blender and more. L Makeup Institute also is designated an Official Pro Store for Makeup Forever, offering the largest selection of the brand’s products in Las Vegas. The staff are professional makeup artists with a wealth of experience and trained on all brands whose expertise is available to help with any retail purchases.
L Makeup Institute’s new facilities are located at Tivoli Village, 400 South Rampart Blvd. B130, Las Vegas, 89145. Retail hours are Monday –Saturday 10AM – 7PM, and Sunday noon – 5PM.
