LADY REBELS JUMP BACK IN AP TOP 25

 

No. 24 UNLV is ranked in the Associated Press poll for the third time this season

The UNLV women’s basketball team has a number by their name from the Associated Press Women’s Basketball Top 25 poll coming in at No. 24 in today’s releases. This is the third time this season the Lady Rebels have been ranked in the AP poll and the fourth time this season UNLV has been ranked in either the AP poll or USA Today Women’s Basketball Coaches poll.

 

The Lady Rebels were just named Mountain West Regular Season Champions for the third straight season and the first time in program history. UNLV has a 24-2 overall record and is 14-1 in the MW. The Lady Rebels are on a nine-game win streak and have an 18-0 MW road streak.

 

UNLV first made its way into the AP Top 25 during week 7 of the season, coming in at No. 23. The Lady Rebels marked an AP Top 25 number by their name again during week 11, but have fallen out and continued to receive votes until this week.

 

The Lady Rebels will be on home court on Wednesday, Feb. 28 to host Boise State at 6:30 p.
