World’s Largest Sportsbook to Become Baseball Hotspot, Featuring All-American Décor, American Coney Island Coney Dogs, Apple Pie and Free Drinks for Moms
Baseball, hot dogs and apple pie – it’s the first day of baseball! On March 30, the world’s largest sportsbook at Circa Resort & Casino will host the ultimate celebration with its inaugural “Take Me Out to Vegas” experience. The adults-only casino-resort will play all 30 professional baseball games, with legendary pitcher Greg Maddux kicking off the festivities with the official first pitch. The event also will include food from American Coney Island, free drinks for moms, apple pie and hotel packages.
“The first day of baseball is one of the most exciting moments for baseball teams and their fans, and I’m thrilled to bring the energy and electricity of it all to my hometown of Las Vegas,” said Maddux. “The city has transformed into a sports destination in its own right, so catching every professional team on Circa’s massive sportsbook in the span of a day will be an amazing experience.”

With the sportsbook decorated to look like an All-American baseball stadium, Take Me Out to Vegas will bring the fun with the following activations:
- Greg Maddux’s Opening Pitch: Maddux will throw the first pitch at 9:50 a.m., right before the first professional game of the season begins. The baseball star played 23 seasons for four teams in the professional baseball league and is considered to be one of the best pitchers of all time. Maddux will throw the first pitch in honor of the upcoming Baller Dream Foundation Celebrity Poker Tournament taking place at Circa April 28-30.

- Circa Club Upper: Get a bird’s-eye view of the book with a spot in the Circa Club Upper section. Each table gives dedicated sports viewers a space to enjoy top-notch service and luxury booth seating.
- Circa Club Lower: These tables at the Circa Club Lower section are perfect for medium-to-large groups.
- Champions Club: The Champions Club section includes family-style seating in the center of the sportsbook.
- Legends Club: Spectators can get a front-row view with plush recliners in the Legends Club, located directly in front of the book’s screen.
- Grandstands: Watch the games like you are in a true baseball stadium, with comfortable, open-style grandstand seating.
- Coney Dogs and Apple Pie: Vendors will bring stadium fare to fans, including homemade apple pie and American Coney Island’s world-famous Coney dogs. American Coney Island is a family run restaurant that opened in 1917 in Detroit, which debuted its first concept outside of the city at Circa’s sister property, the D Las Vegas. The family is known for their invention of the Coney Dog and uses natural skin casing hot dogs from Dearborn Sausage and the Keros family Coney Island chili sauce. The dogs are topped with fine mustard and sweet chopped onions and served in a warm, steamed bun.
- Moms Drink Free: On March 30, all moms can drink for free as nothing is more American than baseball, moms and apple pie. Beverages include service from Circa’s cocktail servers and a selection of beers from traditional style beer hawkers.
- Home & Away Hotel Package: In addition to the opening ceremony activations, Circa is offering “Home & Away” hotel packages that consist of a two-night stay from Wednesday, March 29-Friday, March 31 for $299. The opening ceremony will begin at 9:50 a.m., with broadcasted games starting at 10:05 a.m. During the ceremony, Mike Palm, Vice President of Operations at Circa, and Maddux will give speeches before the first pitch is thrown.
Maddux will return to Circa in April for the first Baller Dreams Foundation Celebrity Poker Tournament. Taking place in Circa’s 60th floor rooftop lounge Legacy Club, funds from the poker game will stay local to Las Vegas and help Baller Dream Foundation provide community programming where cancer warriors feel supported and celebrated. They also will provide financial support to families experiencing a cancer diagnosis. Additional celebrity guests will include Las Vegas hockey player Deryk Engelland, Cy Young Award Winner Roger Clemens, football star Evan Mathis and more. The weekend-long event also will feature a private dinner at Circa’s secluded steakhouse Barry’s Downtown Prime; a welcome party at the outdoor pool amphitheater, Stadium Swim; and the tournament itself.
