LVH – Las Vegas Hotel & Casino SuperContest Entries Break Record Third Straight Year
For the third consecutive year, the LVH – Las Vegas Hotel & Casino’s SuperContest broke its record of sign-ups with a total of 1,034 entries for the 2013 season. The LVH’s SuperContest, the most prestigious pro football handicapping contest in the world, will offer a cash prize pool of $1,551,000. The 100% payback cash pool will include another record when the winner will receive a check of $542,850.
New this year, the SuperContest has expanded the payouts to include the top 30 contestants. “The LVH SuperContest continues to grow to new heights each and every year,” said Jay Kornegay, Vice President of Race & Sports Operations. “This most elite of all football contests is on track to mirror the success of the World Series of Poker.”
In addition to expanding payouts to the top 30 contestants, the LVH has increased the aggregate bonuses to $15,000 each. Early bird contestants that select 67% winners and/or have the best record over the last 3 weeks of the season are eligible for the LVH-funded bonuses.
